Thread for anyone due in March 2021 💜 including those due end of February and early April 😊

Trust the baby to move onto my bladder while I'm working 😭😂

I was hoping we could set up the Facebook group for 1st October to allow women to have their scans next week and perhaps get any test results they need too. My scan is tomorrow and I am very nervous, as I haven't had any scans up until now and I am afraid they'll tell me a) it's a hysterical pregnancy, b) the baby has died or c) it's twins (sorry, twin mums - I don't want a seven seater car! ). I'm 12+5 weeks tomorrow based on LMP, due 25th March, so I would expect by this time next week everyone will have had their scans.

Thank you for the new thread. Im so saddened to hear of the difficult news from the scans today. It really puts my petty problems into perspective.

I hope you guys are getting all the support you need, you will get through it!.

I have my dating scan tomorrow, going it alone. I'm scared but has to be done.

I hope everyone else is doing ok.

@Taylortyler that’s terrible, I’ve also noticed similar things people like and they clearly don’t realise it’s public! I worked out someone I went to school with was having ivf, she liked one of the clinics, she’d never publicly mentioned it, but I had wondered why she hadn’t had kids (married over 5 years ago, bought a gigantic house, bigger than anyone I know... for 2 of them?). Then last year she shared she was pregnant... after 5 years of ivf! So yes I’m careful about what I like and join on fb as sometimes you think no one will see it but then it’s there for all to see.

We can always give the group a bit of a random name as well as making it private. There's loads of 'lending a helping hand' type groups by me - all have sprung up since Covid19. I'm sure if we adopted a name like that (better suggestions welcomed!) then that might help with any privacy concerns.

Thanks for the new thread So exciting seeing everybody’s scans ! mine isn’t until next Monday. I’m feeling a bit distressed that my husband can’t come in though (Also sorry to hear of the sad news in the previous thread x)

Can't believe how much we can talk 😂

My 12 week scan is finally next Tuesday, brilliant news from my hospital today, a partner can now come to the 12 & 20 week scan as well 2 people to be in attendance at the birth! So I imagine many hospitals will soon follow suit!

Hi all. Thanks for the new thread. I've only just sat down and had chance to go through my notes. This is the official dating scan pic, the baby was behaving and in the perfect position. I can't remember if I said before they moved my due date forward a bit to the 24th of March which is good because I was scared it would be an April fools baby 😂 not that it really matters. Everyone so far has said girl, I'm not finding out unless I crack and have to know.

@KatyCherry23 great news! 💜 Haha I'm like that only hoping baby doesn't decide to come St. Patrick's day (due the 15th) 😂

@SnickerdoodleSnek what have they said so far? Mine have told me that I can’t work at school past my second trimester. Will have to work from home until I start my maternity leave so live teaching from my sofa!

I'm due the 29th and hoping he isn't an April Fool baby. 😂 But he's resilient. Survived his first 5 days in a lab and made a home in my weird uterus, so I think he can handle it.

Hello, lost track of the other threads so going to try and keep up this time.
Regarding Facebook groups, there's already a March group on facebook. It's secret and hidden so won't appear in searches or in your groups and you can't see in it unless you're a member. Only way in is by invitation as hidden bit complicates traditional methods but if people are interested then I can add them. I've already done this for a couple of people.

Our due date is 2nd of March so could be a St Davids day baby=name sorted! 🤪

For those of you still to have scans, I would definitely double check with the hosp if partners can come in... mine said not on the appt letter and again at the door but at the desk of the maternity unit they had an inconspicuous sign saying 'partners now allowed at 12 & 20 week scans'!

I had to quickly call my boyfriend when I saw it - Luckily he wasn't too far away so he ran back and joined me!

Really sorry that some have had awful news today. I've been there being told no heartbeat previously and it's life crushing.
I'd deffo be interested in joining a private Facebook group, please if this gets sorted let me know the details. My group for DS has been a great support for solidarity and advice through it all! Be lovely to be part of that again xx
