Hi @Rosehips89 wave 👋 and congrats on your pregnancy 🙂

@chloxhunt I wouldn’t have known that either! But hopefully one cup should be fine. You always hear of ladies eating and drinking something then finding out it’s on the pregnancy ‘no’ list! I have never actually heard of Chai Tea Lattes (how sophisticated I am!) but I googled and they do look delicious! Perhaps something to try post-March 😋 xxx

SnickerdoodleSnek · 06/09/2020 17:48

@Enjoy07

I’ve just opened a big bag of white chocolate buttons, no idea why they put ‘more to share’ on the packet?! How strange!
Sharing chocolate? Sounds like a conspiracy to me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Omg. For the first time in about 6 weeks, I've been able to manage a cup of tea! Every time I thought about it I felt sick, which is crazy because I love tea! But I think my nausea is finally calming down a little, hopefully that's a good thing. I don't know how I've coped without tea for so long...!

Mrs1989 · 06/09/2020 17:48

@Rosehips89 that was a typo - I wasn’t demanding you wave back at me 😂 xxx

Wren1986 · 06/09/2020 17:57

Same here @SnickerdoodleSnek, I normally love tea but apart from a small cup in the morning (essential caffeine!) I just can't stomach it. I find with any drink right now I feel sick if I drink it fast, so I have to sip everything! Drinking all that water for my scan was torture and my 20 week scan letter says I have to drink a full pint Sad

chloxhunt · 06/09/2020 18:18

@Mrs1989 it's so nice! If you like cinnamon then you'll like it! Costa do it too but it's just called a chai latte there

chloxhunt · 06/09/2020 18:19

@Wren1986 I have no idea how much to drink for my 12 week scan on Friday it just say turn up on a moderate full bladder

Mococo1 · 06/09/2020 18:25

Hello please can I join? EDD 30th March xx

chloxhunt · 06/09/2020 18:32

@Mococo1 welcome to the gang!

Oldermum80 · 06/09/2020 18:35

Anyone suffering from headaches? It’s everyday, afternoon onwards and really intense. Using 4head but not doing anything.

chloxhunt · 06/09/2020 18:36

@Oldermum80 I was getting migraines once a week which have stopped, I had a headache the other day and found the 4head didn't do anything either

SnickerdoodleSnek · 06/09/2020 18:43

@Wren1986 Honestly I'm dreading having to have a full bladder for my scan. I'll be going straight from work to the hospital and I'll have to hold off from using the bathroom - which is especially difficult as I have a rubbish bladder and it feels like baby is just constantly sitting on it!! 🙈

Mococo1 · 06/09/2020 19:04

@Oldermum80 I am they're almost like migraines and I've read it's to do with hormones

@chloxhunt thank you for the warm welcome xx

JTB123 · 06/09/2020 19:05

@Oldermum80 try getting some Tiger balm to rub on the forehead, it's magic!
Also ice packs on the forehead in a dark room xxx

JTB123 · 06/09/2020 19:06

I've just had a Nando's after 9 long months and I'm telling you gals, it hit every spot 👌🏼😂

LottieDot · 06/09/2020 19:08

@spierse I'm so so sorry. Sending you love and best wishes for the future xx

Taylortyler · 06/09/2020 19:09

I found going to the loo and drinking a pint an hour before meant my bladder was so full I nearly wet myself! So for the next scan I only drank 3/4 of a pint- and then they made me provide a urine sample and scanned me with an empty bladder! The empty bladder scan wasn't that clear but you could still see the baby, so I'd say just make sure you empty your bladder an hour before and then drink most of a pint

chloxhunt · 06/09/2020 19:11

@JTB123 yesss the medium sauce is where it's at though?

TravelGem · 06/09/2020 19:12

May I join (again)?!?! I never really left tbh I sort of just watched from the background but didn't want to become overly active because of the fear something would happen....

Currently 10+6 with an EDD 29th March my 12 week scan isn't until I'm 13+4 and I've not had a private scan so I really don't have a clue if this jelly baby is still doing its thing but I've realised life's too short to be in a constant state of worry so I might as embrace this funny time.

p.s I've also not worked out since my BFP (I've even been reluctant to walk to work just in case 😂) that all changes as of tomorrow

chloxhunt · 06/09/2020 19:13

@Taylortyler ahhh thank you! I won't need a urine sample though i just need to do one everytime i see my midwife

chloxhunt · 06/09/2020 19:14

@TravelGem I was working out at the beginning of lockdown try to make my tummy flat! Now I'm waiting for it to get bigger oh the irony

aureliacecilia · 06/09/2020 19:14

I am so very sorry for your loss @spierse and I'm also sorry to read about other people's experiences with miscarriage. A friend of mine has been through this a lot in the last few months and it's been a dreadful time for her and her family, particularly with lockdown NHS care compounding an already horrendous time. I wish you well for the future.

I'm still blissfully ignorant of what's going on inside my uterus. I've not had any early scans at all. I've booked the day off work for the day of my scan so I've got some time to get to grips with whatever the news is.

chloxhunt · 06/09/2020 19:16

@aureliacecilia I've booked work off for my scan too so I can tell people and go out for dinner to celebrate after! I had a couple of early scans already so I'm feeling positive about it 🤞🏻

holb54 · 06/09/2020 19:22

@JTB123 oh I would love a Nando's right now, nearest one to me at this moment is 3 hours away so I'll have to give it a miss for a while 😂

Welcome @TravelGem!

I'm going off of savoury foods but I haven't gone off of any sweet foods at all, a girl possibly?😏

holb54 · 06/09/2020 19:27

Just a bit of fun 😝
Could be right @chloxhunt 😉
