Anyone else playing the waiting game for baby

I'm 39 weeks today, so baby could come at any time.
I'm due to have a sweep next week, so I'm hoping that'll get baby moving!

Is anyone else playing the waiting game?

Baby girl born on 29th August weighing 8.4lbs, We're still in hospital getting more frustrated by the minute as would like to go home now. Congratulations to those who have given birth recently & good luck to those who will soon be mummies 🥳🥰

@Realladymarmalade @TwinkleStars15 congratulations both of you on your bundles of joy. I'm in hospital being induced, first pessary has been in for 10 hours, no movement at all. No sign of my little lady coming anytime soon.

@London91 I am also in hospital being induced and first pessary been in for 8 hours since 3pm! Also with nothing happening! It's so demoralising! Just want things to get going now, the waiting around and anticipation is horrible! Hope things start to move for you soon.

Lots of babies coming now!!

Congratulations to everyone that's had their little ones! I'm 39+4, been having periods of crampyness on and off since Saturday - glad baby has held out until September but hate not knowing if it'll be 2 days or 2 weeks! Look forward to seeing more updates Smile

Realladymarmalade · 02/09/2020 22:59

Hope you are nearly there or thereabouts! Ursula and london
You got this 💪

Congrats to all who have given birth!

I'm booked for an induction tomorrow at 4pm.

London91 · 03/09/2020 23:07

Sorry for the late update. My little lady gave us a scare, nearly resulting in an emergency C-section. But she's here safe and sound.

Just catching up everyone.
I had baby Lottie on Sunday, it’s taken me this long to get my head out the clouds and be able to look at mumsnet!
Congrats OP @London91. I’m so pleased you’ve got your little one and the waiting is over, good job on starting a fun thread whilst we were all frustrated. And congratulations everyone else who has now “popped”.
How is everyone’s recovery? I was thinking having her naturally compared to my first being a section the recovery would be a lot easier.... I was wrong... so wrong! I’m so achy sore and run down!

UrsulaSings · 04/09/2020 20:48

Congratulations @London91! Considering we started induction at the same time, I'm still sat here waiting for my baby! Hoping to move to labour ward tonight to have my waters broken and start the drip. Fingers crossed he will arrive tomorrow!

Jomum2020 · 05/09/2020 20:38

@UrsulaSings any news?

London91 · 07/09/2020 16:32

@Jomum2020 Congratulations on baby Lottie! How are you both getting on?

@UrsulaSings Hopefully your little one is here by now. Hope everything is okay and we'll get an update soon! Smile
