Hey all! So I officially got my BFP last night, which puts me at 3weeks 3 days (I have another app telling me I'm at 4weeks 4 days) and I am due between 2nd and 8th May ❤️ I already feel super nauseous, and this will be baby number 3 (our last for sure). I was just wondering if anyone on here wanted to share this journey together - husband is brilliant but doesn't believe you can get nausea this quickly and I'm not close enough to my family to tell them just yet ☹️ so it might be a lonely journey for a little while x

Thanks @Gingergeek89 and @Pinkiii. Fingers crossed! 🤞🏼🤞🏼 couldn’t believe it when I saw it was a BFP. Those three minutes waiting are the worst!

Gingergeek89 · 24/08/2020 17:23

@ineedtochange2020 that’s what my husband keeps joking about. Do the severity of the symptoms correspond to that?

ineedbanoffee · 24/08/2020 17:57

Hi! I just found out yesterday I'm expecting DC4 :o

I have three daughters already, aged 9, 7 and 3. Not ready to tell anybody in real life as I've also had two early MCs - but I'm also super impatient, so I think I'll book in for a 7 week scan to check for viability and then tell people. So in 2.5 weeks' time. Pretty sure my due date is 1st May.

Also pretty sure the world is going to think I've lost my bloody mind having four. But we're really excited. I'm 38. One last go on the merry-go-round, I guess!

Piggers946 · 24/08/2020 18:33

@Gingergeek89 Yea, I think so. I hope so. Called the GP today and he said nothing can be done just now as it's so early days still. Just to rest and get plenty of fluids, and test again in a week's time or so if it doesn't turn into a period. It's getting somewhat less again, and doesn't seem like a period. So fingers crossed!

ineedtochange2020 · 24/08/2020 18:34

@Gingergeek89 apparently so, nausea etc amplified with twin + pregs. Keep us posted OP Smile

Piggers946 · 24/08/2020 18:34

@RoseandBloom Aww congratulations on your bfp! God, I hate those 3 minutes haha x

Smp321 · 24/08/2020 19:29

Hi guys! Congratulations everyone who has had a BFP!

This may be a long post!

Basically I found out I was pregnant and had an early loss at 5w6d which started one the 26th June... after previous losses me and my partner agreed to not wait a cycle and just try again...

An app I’m using said AF was due today. I’ve had aching boobs for about a week and a half and cramping for a few days. Took a clear blue digital just to put my mind at ease thinking AF was coming...........
PREGNANT 2-3!

I did not expect it this month! So according the nhs due day calc I’m due 2nd may!

Gingergeek89 · 24/08/2020 20:10

@Piggers946 oh I really hope that it continues to go forward okay. Fingers crossed for you

@ineedtochange2020 oh dear haha. Still processing the idea of potentially getting our first baby. Plus the nausea has now joined the severe boob pain and it is BAD haha. Have also gained an aversion to chicken and eggs, has anyone else found that?

Gingergeek89 · 24/08/2020 20:12

@Smp321 congratulations!

Smp321 · 24/08/2020 20:14

@Gingergeek89 thank you! I am just absolutely in shock

Welliedays · 24/08/2020 20:35

MummyFD · 24/08/2020 23:14

Good morning everyone! Anyone else getting tummy pains after eating?

@gingergeek89 I've found that I'm actually craving eggs. But I'm a vegetarian so perhaps it's my bodies way of upping the protein intake!

Natty47 · 25/08/2020 07:56

Morning! Congrats on your bfp @eternalflame2020. There’s been so much twinging and pulling going on in my tummy since bfp it’s impossible to tell if it’s related to eating or not! Mines definitely at its worst early evening, though things seem to be calming this last day or so thankfully. Hope yours isn’t too painful?

HomeTogether · 25/08/2020 08:51

Hi MummyFD

I too have just found out last night I’m pregnant with our third and trying to absorb it this morning! Due 5th May 2021. Congratulations to you! We can go through this together! Smile

After a surprise pregnancy which I lost 2 years ago, we kept sitting on the fence whether to try again. Kept talking about it over and over! I was fed up with the indecision and just tried once and here I am pregnant! Maybe it was meant to be. I was due on my period today so I tested a day early.

Feeling mixed emotions, excited I think, feeling grateful It happened so fast but it’s quite a shock to happen so fast and quite scared to go through it all again and juggling it all!
Can I ask the age gap of your children? Mine DS is 7 and DD is 4. Both will be in school when baby arrives which will make it easier.

I too had such strong pregnancy feelings even before the test (more than I remembered before). I also have been suffering from nausea which seems worse at night. I only had it mildly with my other 2 in the morning.

Piggers946 · 25/08/2020 09:24

More bleeding today, it seems I've had an early miscarriage sadly. I've had some cramping this morning and it looks like my period is starting after all now. I'll test again next week to be sure but I think this is the end of it for me, this time around at least. Absolutely gutted, also because h2b is now away for work for the rest of the year...

Hopeful1712 · 25/08/2020 10:07

Hi everybody, hoping I can join this?

First of all congratulations to everybody!

I got my first BFP and app says I am 5+2 and due on 25 April 2021, so I think me and @UnicornAndSparkles Have the same date? I’ve only told my partner, so would be great to talk to others in the same situation.

Feeling pretty out of my depth, spent years longing for a baby and no its happening I feel totally unprepared?! Anybody else feel like this?

I had some spotting and really bad lower back ache at the weekend - hoping it is implantation, but still super worried.

Welliedays · 25/08/2020 10:12

Sorry to hear this @piggers946,it won't be any consolation but had the exact same last month and this month my little bean seems to be sticking so far.. I know you can't get on it straight away again with htb going away, but it won't impact on any future attempts. Talk to someone in real life about it too, a friend or family member. It really helps x

Natty47 · 25/08/2020 10:15

@Piggers946 so sorry to hear about the bleeding, that’s absolutely gutting. I’ll be sending you positive thoughts for a positive test next week x

Hopeful1712 · 25/08/2020 10:18

@Piggers946 i’m so very sorry to hear this. Try and keep positive, it might just be really strong implantation bleeding? Do you have anybody in RL you can talk to with your h2b being away? Sending love and a big hug.

Natty47 · 25/08/2020 10:20

Welcome @Hopeful1712 and congrats on your bfp!

Lots of what you say there rings true for me too. This is also my first ever bfp! Have been TTC for the best part of a year...and now feel out of my depth. I’m a little behind you at 4+4, and had similar symptoms of back pain and spotting up until until a couple of days ago. Fingers crossed for healthily pregnancies all round. I also really need to stop torturing myself by endlessly googling things that could go wrong :s

Hopeful1712 · 25/08/2020 10:36

@Natty47 totally agree with the google thing! I seem to google one thing and then end up thinking a dozen other things could be wrong!
I think I was just so worried that everything i’d read was spotting was Usually earlier and then coupled with backache so my mind just went in to overdrive.
Have you registered with the midwives yet? I did my online referral yesterday and they said they would be in touch about 8 weeks for a booking appointment.

Smp321 · 25/08/2020 10:56

@MummyFD aww congratulations! Any symptoms? I do not know what expect being FTM.

@Hopeful1712 congratulations! I feel like that too. Even though this was our plan I don’t even know where to begin! I feel like I can relate to what yourself and @Natty47 Are saying. Google is an awful rabbit hole once I get sucked in 😂

Natty47 · 25/08/2020 11:29

@Hopeful1712 lol yes I thought exactly the same thing - everything I’d previously heard about ‘implantation’ cramps was them occurring before AF. Mine only really started on the day AF was due and they lasted a while so I was worried.

Haven’t registered with the midwives yet. I’ve ‘flirted’ with the online form a couple of times...but somehow wimped out because I still find being pg a bit unreal! I think I’ll take a digital test with weeks indicator at the weekend when (fx) I’ll be over 5 weeks. And all going well that will give me the confidence boost to make contact and get things started!
