Hey all! So I officially got my BFP last night, which puts me at 3weeks 3 days (I have another app telling me I'm at 4weeks 4 days) and I am due between 2nd and 8th May ❤️ I already feel super nauseous, and this will be baby number 3 (our last for sure). I was just wondering if anyone on here wanted to share this journey together - husband is brilliant but doesn't believe you can get nausea this quickly and I'm not close enough to my family to tell them just yet ☹️ so it might be a lonely journey for a little while x

@scottishstardust I know, it's so hard not telling anyone isn't it! I don't live close to my family so will be easier not to say anything to them, but we do see my husbands family alot more frequently so not telling them could be a challenge!

Pinkiii · 23/08/2020 16:14

Hi all. Joining this thread if you don’t mind.

Still very early days for me (3weeks) but be nice to be in the space of similar thoughts.

This is my 2nd. I seem to be having more severe symptoms this time, my uterus and the cramping has been so painful!!

Also feel like i have the flu! Was so ill last night with body aches and feeling hot and cold, anyone has had this before?

Congrats to everyone on their pregnancies!

Blughbablugh · 23/08/2020 16:54

Pinkiii, I feel exactly the same. Been in bed all afternoon as feel really tired. This is my second as well.
I couldn't get a First response anywhere! So went for a clear blue which had the faintest of lines but not convincing enough! Sad it's the one with the digital in as well. I'm going to lay of testing for today and try again tomorrow. Still no AF though and having strong symptoms. I swear it wasn't this difficult last time! My AF was late and so took a test which showed a line. Thinking back though I'm sure it was a first response I used!

Pinkiii · 23/08/2020 17:03

@Blughbablugh glad its not just me! I’ve been all day too.

Have you tried amazon prime for test? I got mine from there.

UnicornAndSparkles · 23/08/2020 17:29

Hi ladies,

Welcome to the new joiners and congratulations!

Feeling rough tbh @MummyFD; endured my second migraine of the week today rendering me useless until about 5pm. So awful when all I can have is paracetamol. Any tips?! Suffered with my first pregnancy too and it was just awful. Other than that I'm just feeling queasy and tired, which is manageable.

Booked an early scan for 8+2, after which we'll tell parents and siblings, all being well. I've only told my sister, for now, incase I need help with DD.

Pinkiii · 23/08/2020 17:39

@UnicornAndSparkles going to sound silly but for my migraines i wrap my robe tie tight around my forehead and it really helps relieve the pressure.

Ro198 · 23/08/2020 17:54

I’m due 26th April (I think) so thought it makes sense to join this board as it’s so close to the end of the month.

I conceived through IVF after trying for around 3 years. This is the first time I’ve been pregnant so I feel a bit clueless!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

MagOby · 23/08/2020 17:58

I can’t believe it! My first ever positive! After trying for 9 months! I think I am 3+6 today. Got my bfp yesterday and tested again today. Is it too soon to call my GP?
I have had no symptoms at all. So funny because every month before this I had been assuming every single twinge or headache is a symptom, and then AF shows!Smile
Anyways, it’s nice to join this thread.Grin

RachaelVictoria · 23/08/2020 18:20

Congratulations!

leaferty · 23/08/2020 19:02

Congratulations everyone! So exciting :-)

@Ro198 we are due date buddies!

Pinkiii · 23/08/2020 19:06

Congrats to the pregnancies!

Sunshine92 · 23/08/2020 19:26

@eternalflame2020 - I work in a nursery with 3-5 year olds and the staff toilet is in the school...so that could be a total nightmare! We will see!

@Blughbablugh - definitely try amazon, I got mine from there too Smile and if you have prime it will come next day. Saves you having to search round the shops...which is my least favourite thing to do in the world!

Anyone really moody and short tempered? I’m about ready to hit anyone that comes near me! Haha!

littlegold · 23/08/2020 19:46

Congratulations on all the pregnancies! So lovely to see so many BFP's this month!

I have taken a clear blue digital test this afternoon and it showed 1-2 weeks, worked out my DD to be 2nd May 🤞🏻🤞🏻Praying this one sticks as I had a mmc before my nearly two year old daughter!

eternalflame2020 · 23/08/2020 20:26

@sunshine92 I go into a few different schools throughout the week and none of the toilets are anywhere near the room I use 😬 also we're going back to school just at the weeks where it could potentially be at it's worst! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yay @littlegold congratulations! I'm 1st of May so we're pretty close!

After having very little symptoms, I have spent the evening feeling extremely nauseous and light headed. Hoping it's all good signs. Also OH says that my hands and feet feel ice cold but my tummy is really hot! x

ScottishStardust · 23/08/2020 20:34

@eternalflame2020 ... I'm the same with random symptoms this evening since getting our BFP this morning. Putting it down to all being in my head and they're not real for now! Haha!

Sunshine92 · 23/08/2020 21:08

@eternalflame2020 - We might need to carry around emergency puke buckets haha! Scottish schools are already back, but I will be moving to a new nursery just in time for the potentially worst time too! Fingers crossed for us both!

Welliedays · 23/08/2020 21:11

My office is really small, so it will be very obvious if I start being sick at work 🙈

@littlegold fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time. I had a chemical just last month, so I'm also hoping for lots of stickiness this time!

@magOby as soon as you have a positive you can let them know. Depending int your area they might tell you to self refer to the midwife, but they'll give you the details. Unless you have any pre pregnancy problems or any major pregnancy concerns that the midwife can't help with, I'm not entirely sure if you actually see the doctor

Peachyyyx · 23/08/2020 21:12

Hey everyone, I tested positive this weekend and think I'm due 1st -3rd May!
This is my first pregnancy and I have serious heartburn.
I'm so excited and so nervous.
Also, I'm a sonographer 🙈 how will I refrain from scanning myself everyday. I'm so used to being around pregnant women, I can't believe this is me!
How are you all feeling? My sickness hasn't started yet! xxxx

ScottishStardust · 23/08/2020 21:49

Congratulations @Peachyyyx , especially since you're the one usually giving good news to happy couples! I'm not sure how you'll be able to refrain - keep us posted on that one! Haha!!

I'm feeling fine, but I'm still very early (tested 3 days before missed AF). I'm super nervous in general though due to a previous ectopic so count down on to the early scan to confirm everything's where it should be! X

Peachyyyx · 23/08/2020 22:07

@ScottishStardust it's so scary! I'm sure this time will be completely different for you, but good luck with the early scan! How exciting.

I will try and stop myself, as I don't want to become obsessive 🙈 same as you, once we know everything is in the right place progressing as it should be we'll be fine 🙏🏼

I just had my first overwhelming cry, at how excited and in awe this whole situation is! X

OneStepOneStumble · 23/08/2020 22:09

Wow checked on here for the first time today! Congrats to all those bfps 🥳

Piggers946 · 23/08/2020 22:25

Congratulations on all the bfps!

Bought the FR today and just couldn't wait til tomorrow morning. Even late afternoon testing gave me a faint line on it, I'll test again later in the week if I have the patience to wait and then call GP as still no AF either :)

Gingergeek89 · 23/08/2020 22:35

Hi everyone,

Wondering if I could join the conversation. Found out on Friday with a BFP (first time) and can’t stop thinking about it. At 4+3 weeks, due beginning of May, and experiencing extremely sore boobs and severe fatigue, though no sickness (yet)

As obviously don’t want to tell everyone as it is still early, any support or advice would be extremely welcome.

Congrats to everyone else for your BFPs too

Piggers946 · 23/08/2020 22:59

@Gingergeek89 Welcome! I'm the same, took the first test on Friday and just so much more tired than normal, plus having to go to the bathroom all the time haha. Thankfully no nausea (yet) either.

We're waiting to tell my fiance's parents til next week. After that he's away for work the rest of the year, so we can't really wait beyond that as he'll be out of contact for large part as well. I'll likely tell my brother and sister around the same time. Also because I need their advice on re-planning the wedding that got postponed from 9th May this year. We'll have to make changes now as I'll be near 8 months pregnant haha (25th March 2021)

Natty47 · 23/08/2020 23:12

Hi! Can I join? I’ve been following the TTC boards for a while and am usually too shy to post! But the boards have been a godsend so far, and now I’ve had my first ever BFP it would be great to connect with others and compare notes! I got my bfp last week, and am now 4+2. Am having plenty of cramping and a little spotting, so just praying it sticks. Huge congrats to all the other BFPers on here! My EDD is 30 April x
