Hey all! So I officially got my BFP last night, which puts me at 3weeks 3 days (I have another app telling me I'm at 4weeks 4 days) and I am due between 2nd and 8th May ❤️ I already feel super nauseous, and this will be baby number 3 (our last for sure). I was just wondering if anyone on here wanted to share this journey together - husband is brilliant but doesn't believe you can get nausea this quickly and I'm not close enough to my family to tell them just yet ☹️ so it might be a lonely journey for a little while x

Even after my scan yesterday, I'm still concerned and worried. Really on a high alert now when I feel anything in my shoulder - don't have any pain but my full concentration is on my shoulders. So, for people with cramps don't worry they could be one of the usual pregnancy symptoms.

Have booked for a private scan for next Saturday, and now thinking whether to reschedule that to a later date or not. I guess, until first trimester gets over, this panic will never go off for me Grin

UnicornAndSparkles · 18/09/2020 11:10

Sorry to hear of the cramps etc ladies. Very normal but I understand the worry. Hope you're all OK x

Laurenemma13 · 18/09/2020 12:02

Ive just had my first appointment with GP this morning via telephone, feeling a lot better now.
I asked him about the cramps and he said its completely normal and nothing too worry about. Puts my mind at ease 🥰

leftitlate37 · 18/09/2020 12:31

That's good news @Laurenemma13 nice to get some reassurance!!
Hope people feeling ok generally!
I feel really bloated! Or maybe just eaten too much now got my appetite back after a few days not fancying too much!

Littlebee1990 · 18/09/2020 15:06

Just had a lovely chat with the midwife who has requested my scan and also booked me in for a booking in appointment on 7th October, I have a heart condition so she said I’ll be consultant led.. I’m not sure what that means!? But she was lovely and I’m feeling slightly better but still petrified of something going wrong 😫🙈

GrandTheftWalrus · 18/09/2020 16:53

Hi all.

Found out today that I'm 5 weeks 3 days.

Very worried though as I had a miscarriage in may. I shouldve been 11 weeks but baby stopped growing at 7 weeks.

This will be 2nd baby but 3rd pregnancy. My dd will be 4.5 when this one comes.

Laurenemma13 · 18/09/2020 17:12

@Littlebee1990 oh exciting and glad to hear you're feeling a bit better. It's so hard but just remember you're still pregnant each day that goes by. I spoke to my friend yesterday and in the nicest way, she said to me I wish I could take the anxiety away but just remember that being anxious wont help the baby growing inside you and to try and just think if each day as a gift and it did actually make me feel a lot better x
I think consultant led means that instead of a midwife leading your care, itll be the consultant xx

leftitlate37 · 18/09/2020 19:24

Hi @GrandTheftWalrus! Congrats:) sorry to hear about your miscarriage, cant imagine your anxiety with this...but actually I really like what u said @Laurenemma13 defo got to be glad for each day and anxiety wont help us or the baby.easier said than done isnt it!! I feel like I'm going to wish the weeks away til get a scan and know that it's all ok at least so far.
@littlebee1990 glad u had a nice chat with midwife! That must be so reassuring. Think like above...just means you'll have a consultant leading your care rather than a midwife, think they just look at factors to make an assessment and see what is best for u and baby. I have no idea if being a bit older and poss more risk that would mean I'd get consultant not midwife ?! I'd be reassured if I was you:)
Anyone else struggling to exercise? My legs are so so heavy I'm struggling to run, having to walk loads when intend on running.

Gymbelle · 18/09/2020 20:19

Hi all,

I hope it’s ok for me to join. I have loved reading your stories.

I got my BFP this month after 14 months TTC 😀😀😀

This will be my first baby. I had started fertility testing as it was taking so long. I had cramps all day yesterday CD30 (I am usually 28) and didn’t sleep a wink I took 3 tests this morning and it was positive. My partner came in to the bathroom and I couldn’t even get my words out!! I’m so nervous but trying to stay calm and positive.

Can’t wait to share this journey with you all.

Littlebee1990 · 18/09/2020 20:24

Thank you ladies & congrats to the newbies! @Gymbelle I remember you from a thread we was both on in the conception board, so pleased to see you here 🥰

@leftitlate37 I’ve done zero exercise since my BFP 11 days ago apart from walking, I really need to get back in to it!

Gymbelle · 18/09/2020 20:47

Thanks @Littlebee1990, I am so glad we are both on this board. It still doesn’t feel real.

@leftitlate37 I feel exactly the same. I picked up my 5kg weights the other day and had to check they weren’t 10kg! I am doing the Courtney Black workouts, working out 6 days a week for the past 5 months, mixture of high impact and strength training and now 20 mins feels like a struggle. It is one of the things that prompted me to test ❤️ Since I have found out I’m going to lower my intensity.

leftitlate37 · 18/09/2020 20:51

Congrats @Gymbelle! Glad it's not just me...hope I'm not just using it as an excuse for feeling generally lame! Usually happy to push myself but trying to get careful like u say but just stuff I can usually do feels way more effort! R u just going to low the weights on the strength stuff or what? I havent done any since finding out but want to get back on it but not sure how! (Google I'm guessing...!)

Whilstwewait · 18/09/2020 21:11

@gymbelle aw congratulations. I remember you from the conception thread as well. Cycle 14 was lucky for me as well x

Cafeaulait27 · 18/09/2020 21:58

Congratulations @Gymbelle you must be over the moon! Xx

Cafeaulait27 · 18/09/2020 22:00

I’m really pleased to say that the pink discharge seems to have stopped and I’m Back to clear mucus. I’ll be 6+6 on Monday which is when we are having the private early scan.

I really hope all is well, as my parents are visiting the following weekend and I would really like to tell them (as they’ll wonder why I’m not drinking!)

Fingets crossed.

Rumples · 19/09/2020 03:50

@Cafeaulait27 that's good news! I've got a private scan booked for a week tomorrow where I will be 6+6 so will be interesting to hear how yours goes and what you see etc ☺️

Littlebee1990 · 19/09/2020 05:54

Argh I’m worried, just did my final CB digital and it’s still saying 2-3 weeks, it said the same last Saturday. I should be 5+2 today so over 3 weeks from conception & was really expecting to see 3+ on the digital, now I’m worried something bad has happened because I have zero symptoms either. 😩😢

Cafeaulait27 · 19/09/2020 06:00

@Rumples will keep you all updated! Hopefully I will have good news and a cute pic to share xx

Cafeaulait27 · 19/09/2020 06:04

@Littlebee1990 try not to worry, I’ve heard those tests are not always accurate. I don’t think symptoms are a good indicator either, lots of women don’t have any. Are you getting a strong line on dye tests?

Do you have the option to book a private early scan for reassurance? You can book them from 6 weeks so you wouldn’t have to wait long.

Littlebee1990 · 19/09/2020 06:09

@Cafeaulait27 Thank you ❤️ I’ve got one booked for 3rd October as was advised it’s better after 7 weeks so 2 weeks today. I got a dark line on an IC but convincing myself it’s lighter than one before (which I chucked so cant compare.. just need to remember that worrying won’t change anything ☹️😩

Bouncycastle12 · 19/09/2020 06:18

Probably one of the last to join! I’m 4+1 and due May 28. Already have a toddler, so less putting my feet up this time around.

knickknack30 · 19/09/2020 06:41

Tentatively joining after lurking for a week. Got my BFP last Sunday and I'm 5+1 today so due around 24th May. It has been a week of worry with tests that I was convinced weren't dark enough. Got bloods done on Tuesday which were 477 so I guess thats OK, although I know its the progression that matters really. Got a darker line on Wednesday and was so relieved. This is my 2nd pregnancy and will (hopefully) be my first baby. We had a PUL in early July which was quite traumatic and resulted in lots of trips to EPAU. I wish someone had told me growing up that ttc doesn't always result in a baby, I had no idea how common loss was until it happened to me and so many people I've told have said oh me too. Fingers crossed we all have lovsly healthy pregnancies. Glad to see im not the only member of the wide awake club! Grin

Sansa87 · 19/09/2020 06:59

@Littlebee1990 those tests are EVIL! And can make you stress for no reason. I used them last time, & then had to use them again this time because I was desperate to see a 3+ which I got last Saturday (5+5)

I lost all my symptoms on Monday, and just had awful cramps so I feared the worst. Had a healthy look bean in a scan on Thursday with a heartbeat.

The tests are EVIL and their hcg range are ridiculous compared to actual range, I read lots of women never got their 3+

Lots of hugs, i know how hard it is, especially after a mc of any form.

Littlebee1990 · 19/09/2020 07:21

@Sansa87 Thank you so much, it’s so shit how 1 little stick can make or break your day! I’m so glad all is going well for you and thank you so so so much for the reassurance. I just have to keep positive ❤️

Rumples · 19/09/2020 07:32

@Littlebee1990 I've got a CB digital left over and as per I resorted to google and looked at when women mostly got 3+ and some said it wasn't until they were over 6 weeks.

Impossible for you not to worry but like others have said, those tests are the devil.
