Hey all! So I officially got my BFP last night, which puts me at 3weeks 3 days (I have another app telling me I'm at 4weeks 4 days) and I am due between 2nd and 8th May ❤️ I already feel super nauseous, and this will be baby number 3 (our last for sure). I was just wondering if anyone on here wanted to share this journey together - husband is brilliant but doesn't believe you can get nausea this quickly and I'm not close enough to my family to tell them just yet ☹️ so it might be a lonely journey for a little while x

Mya789 · 17/09/2020 14:04

Hello everyone. Im 4 weeks today! so still very early. Not really sunk in, i already have a 15month old 🙈 Hope everyone is keeping well. Would love to join the FB group too :) xx

Bl0ndi3 · 17/09/2020 14:35

Hello everyone👋🏻
I'm hoping it's okay I join.
I'm 4+2 after a miscarriage at 6-7 weeks in August with my first.
Thrilled that I caught straight away before i even had a period!

EDD is 25/05/2020.

It's very early and I'm a little anxious due to the MC but things are progressing much better test line wise than they did last time so that's filling me with lots of confidence.

I've messaged you @ShalomToYouJackie about the Facebook group. I'm in a few from my previous pregnancy/MC but it would be really nice to have more people due similar time as me so we can go through things together so to speak 😇

Due date May 2021!
Colacrisp · 17/09/2020 14:38

@Sansa87 @NRDoss congrats on the scans 🖤

I don't really know what I'm doing with myself at the minute 😂 one day I'm like I'm definitely pregnant I have the BFPs and missed period to prove it.....then for some reason my mind tells me I'm not there must be something wrong with the tests and my period is messed up from the coil 🤦🏼‍♀️ I tried getting an appointment for reassurance, even just for a basic test for them to say yes that is a positive test, it's no faulty, it's not a evap 😂

Anyone else seem to have gone a little crazy about it?

Laurenemma13 · 17/09/2020 15:00

Anyone else having bad cramps? I'm only 4weeks+2 and getting them on and off but definitely feeling them just now. So paranoid AF will end up making an appearance though I did have a darker test line this morning ...

Colacrisp · 17/09/2020 15:06

@Laurenemma13 I have been having cramps since I found out at 4weeks not really stopped and I think I'm 5+7 🤦🏼‍♀️

Laurenemma13 · 17/09/2020 15:21

@Colacrisp thankyou! Not ideal eh? I had them 2weeks ago and just had a strong feeling they were implantation cramps (seems i was right lol). Right now there isn't a sign of AF but you cant help but worry sometimes!

Colacrisp · 17/09/2020 15:31

@Laurenemma13 oh I'm a full on crazy woman right now, driving my OH can't understand why I keep doubting it...."you have missed your period and we have had 3 positive tests" but it's all new and I'm questioning every cramp and twinge! Can't wait for my first midwife appointment just so I know for sure haha

leftitlate37 · 17/09/2020 15:32

@Laurenemma13 I had such bad cramps around that stage, kept thinking was AF...defo carried on til I was a good few days late. Subsided now!
Haha @Colacrisp i hear u! I'm convincing myself out of this now...i darent take another test cos paranoid itll be blank. Keep poking my boobs to check they still hurt...ouch yep they do!

Littlebee1990 · 17/09/2020 15:40

Honestly this thread makes me feel less crazy every day, thank you all so much.

I literally check my knickers and expect blood every time I go to toilet, period was due a week ago and I’ve had 3(ok probably +20) positive tests.

I’m somewhere between 5-6 weeks.. 16 sleeps until our private scan and hoping everyday we see a heartbeat ❤️

Still struggling to get excited after our loss in June. It’s so scary.

ScottishStardust · 17/09/2020 15:44

@Sansa87 amazing news!!!

imisscoffee · 17/09/2020 16:11

@CarpeDiem83 thanks, yeah it was a bit manic for the first year or so but definitely reaping the benefits of the small age gap now, they've kept eachother amused during lockdown, are the best of friends and could pass as twins.

@Sansa lovely scan picture, glad all is well.

Has anyone told work yet?

Littlebee1990 · 17/09/2020 16:13

@imisscoffee No, I’m WFH until January at the earliest so quite easy for me although I was out with work last night for the first time since Feb, I got there early and asked the waiter to bring me water in a gin glass whenever I ordered a gin & tonic, he didn’t let me down!

Cafeaulait27 · 17/09/2020 16:53

I’ve been a bit crampy since my period was due, on and off.

I’ve had pale pink discharge since early this morning, just a little when I wipe. Should I be worried? I’m 6+4 and have a private scan on Monday.

Now every twinge I get makes me worry I’m having a MC or ectopic ☹️ Hope it’s all ok xx

Cafeaulait27 · 17/09/2020 16:55

Also - I’ve done 6 tests!! 2 digitals and 4 pink dye. So you’re definitely not crazy!

I was checking line progression with the pink dye ones Which seems to be going well. I did the last test on Sunday and got a really good line. I might do another one at the weekend before the private scan on Monday just to check again!

Laurenemma13 · 17/09/2020 17:41

@Cafeaulait27 from what ive read (which seems to be the full of Google 😂) some spotting and cramping is normal, but completely agree. Ita so hard not too worry! X
Good luck with the scan! Xx

LittleTiger007 · 17/09/2020 18:10

It is hard not to worry I share everybody’s concerns. I had a miscarriage in June at 8 weeks and I that first scan will be an important milestone.

I’ve had a silly accident today. Our big heavy wooden chopping board landed on its corner on my bare big toe... oh my the pain! I now have a black toenail, and I think I may have broken it. I don’t know what I can take for the pain as I’m pregnant. I think I can take paracetamol but that’s my lot. So cross with myself.

UnicornAndSparkles · 17/09/2020 18:19

Hi ladies,

Wonderful scan news! Congratulations. So reassuring to see and hear a tiny hearbeat.

Still struggling with feeling sick ALL day Sad I didn't have it this bad with my first so its a shock. And not helped by a v active 3yo. My skin is also awful!

Told my parents today, felt I could after a healthy scan on Tuesday. My mum had guessed! So I really must look awful haha! I don't "glow" until about 5 months, and then its downhill with swollen ankles and the like from around 7 months for me!

Congratulations on the newcomers too!

UnicornAndSparkles · 17/09/2020 18:20

Also, perhaps more for those who have sadly had losses, I was told that a loss after a heartbeat is detected is far less common; so a heartbeat at 7 or 8 weeks is a good indicator that the miscarriage risk has significantly reduced. Does anyone know if that's true??

Sansa87 · 17/09/2020 20:41

My scan calmed me down for a few hours, now this negative nellie is thinking how much more heartbreaking it will be to lose the baby after seeing the heart beat today 😅

We are going to book a private scan for next weekend though so oh can hopefully see a heartbeat.

ScottishStardust · 17/09/2020 22:22

@Sansa87 I was a little like that after our early scan last week! Like little baby is alive as such... but also I'm like it's still out with our control! So just look after yourself, keep calm and try not get worked up is my method.

Every trip to the loo comes with a stare at the paper!! Haha!!

Rumples · 18/09/2020 05:12

@Laurenemma13 I've had them on and off. They've woke me up at 3am this morning though and I can't get back to sleep. Trying not to worry but they are quite intense!

LittleTiger007 · 18/09/2020 07:34

I was woken by cramps last night too which is a first. They were strong which concerned me

Rumples · 18/09/2020 08:16

@LittleTiger007 same. I couldn't get comfy or get back to sleep so today is going to be a long day!

They've eased off now but can still feel discomfort.

LittleTiger007 · 18/09/2020 08:20

I had a bad night altogether as I think I broke my toe yesterday and it was throbbing all night. Then at about 4 am I woke with strong, sharp cramps. They have gone now and I don’t have any bleeding. I was convinced in the night that it wasn’t good.
I hope your day gets better @Rumples
