Hey all! So I officially got my BFP last night, which puts me at 3weeks 3 days (I have another app telling me I'm at 4weeks 4 days) and I am due between 2nd and 8th May ❤️ I already feel super nauseous, and this will be baby number 3 (our last for sure). I was just wondering if anyone on here wanted to share this journey together - husband is brilliant but doesn't believe you can get nausea this quickly and I'm not close enough to my family to tell them just yet ☹️ so it might be a lonely journey for a little while x

Hello all! I’ve had 3 bfps now and wondered if I can join you! My due date is 20th May. I had a mmc in June... praying this one sticks.
Congratulations on all your bfp s

LittleTiger007 · 13/09/2020 13:27

I’ve only told my husband so far. This is our first and it would be good to hear others stories and get support. Feeling nauseous today and headache and I keep busting into tears which is new! I’m just 16 dpo

LittleTiger007 · 13/09/2020 13:33

Hello @Sophi123 and @MrsWeasely I too am due on May 20 and it’s my first!
(It’s also my late grandmas birthday which is kind of cool.)

bez91 · 13/09/2020 16:09

Hi all just wishing you all the best for your May 2021 babies. I'm 4+5 but bleeding really increased today so I'm pretty certain I'm out 🙁 best wishes to all x

leftitlate37 · 13/09/2020 20:08

Ah thanks @DMBX will have a look locally and see what there is...good luck with the scan! Glad u got a hug off your parents when u told them, told mine today and we still didnt :( I just cant cope with the thought if giving them something as they are classed as vulnerable cos of their age.
@MJM1608 how r u doing??? Really hope all is ok? Have u spoken to anyone about it? I feel like cant give u any good advice as no clue what is normal. Keeping everything crossed for u.
Hi to everyone else just joined!! @MrsWeasely your symptoms sounds similar to me! My boobs were and are unbelievably sore. If they get bigger soon wont do em any harm...!!
@bez91 really sorry to hear this, how r things now? Xx

MJM1608 · 13/09/2020 20:17

@leftitlate37 thanks for asking! The signs aren’t good - cramp, bleeding & clots. I went to the out of hours GP today who made sure it wasn’t ectopic but have to wait to call the EPU for a scan & praying I get an appointment tomorrow. Can’t believe how high I was this morning to how low I feel now. Really appreciate the good wishes, will keep you updated of course. You doing ok! ☺️

leftitlate37 · 13/09/2020 20:37

oh jeez @MJM1608 so so sorry to hear this i really am. glad u got to the GP, but sorry u still ahve to wait til can call EPU -time must just be dragging. fingers crossed they can see u tomorrow ASAP and give u an answer. its horrible that this is something none of us can have any control over. Im alright thanks yeah. Pls pls message us tomorrow and let us know how u go. be thinking of you. x

bez91 · 13/09/2020 20:52

@leftitlate37 thanks for asking. Bleeding a lot still and very crampy and shooting pains - hopefully will ease in the next couple of days. Rang the early pregnancy unit and they don't want to see me yet unless pain or bleeding gets unmanageable which is what I expected them to say but my friend made me ring.

@MJM1608 hope you are ok, let us know how you get on. Hope we're not in the same boat and you get good news tomorrow

Beepbeep42 · 13/09/2020 20:57

Sorry to hear that @bez91 and @MJM1608 take care of yourselves x

leftitlate37 · 13/09/2020 21:00

@bez91 sorry to hear, sounds really uncomfortable too, hope it does ease up really soon.
Have u seen the post on the 1st page of message board about bleeding at 6 weeks? this is all really new to me, but definitely some positives to take from the OP on there..x

MJM1608 · 13/09/2020 21:34

@bez91 sorry to see you’re going through the same thing, it’s such a horrible feeling isn’t it? The unknown & what ifs. Really hope you get an appointment & get to the bottom of it.

@leftitlate37 thank so much - really hard to keep positive but it’s not the end yet! Will message an update in the morning, I’ll probably be awake all night!! Interested to see how I feel tomorrow & how much blood there is through the night. Pray it doesn’t happen to you!! ❤️ Thanks for being there xx

@Beepbeep42 that’s really kind thank you! Really love the support of this group & would be lost without it right now tbh xxx

Pinkiii · 13/09/2020 22:51

@MJM1608 and @bez91 so sorry to hear your news ladies. Will still keep fingers crossed for you. Hope you’re both doing ok.

Keep us updated!

DMBX · 14/09/2020 00:16

@MJM1608

Oh sorry to hear that, I've got everything crossed for you and hope all is well for you.

Elspethelf · 14/09/2020 03:02

Congratulations everyone on the BFPs! I am 38 and expecting baby number one on April 30th - I am on the April board but am finding myself really behind a lot of the people on the board so am hoping its ok to join May also!

@MJM1608 and @bez91 I am wishing you both the best.

Littlebee1990 · 14/09/2020 07:13

Hello Everyone.

I have been watching this board but too scared to comment, I had a chemical pregnancy in June so have been overly cautious of booking things since getting a BFP a week ago, I got 2-3 weeks on a digital and a dye stealer on a FRER on Saturday so I’m hopeful things are progressing.

The first day of my last period was 07/08/20, however, I didn’t ovulate until the 27/08/20. So my cycles are a little longer than the average meaning I think I’m a little behind the 5+3 my app is suggesting and probably closer to 4-5 weeks, I’ve booked an early scan for 3rd October so hoping I’ll know more then.. for now my EDD is around 20th May.

Sorry to read some ladies are having worrying times, I remember the fear and worry and every time I go for a wee I’m convinced there’s going to be blood after my chemical in June.

Lovely to meet you all and hope to share this journey 🥰

Due date May 2021!
leftitlate37 · 14/09/2020 07:30

Hi @Littlebee1990 and @Elspethelf!
Congrats on the BFPs!
Sounds an anxious time little bee, fingers crossed everything progresses well this time. Sorry to hear about your chemical I'm june.
Elspethelf...sorry cant tag again, I'll probably be 38 by time baby arrives and also number 1 for us! Hope you're doing ok?

Elspethelf · 14/09/2020 07:55

@leftitlate37 All is healthy and well but not without scares. First I had low progesterone, then I had a bleed, then a scan that showed an empty sac, then a re-scan that showed yolk sac, fetal pole and heartbeat! Its a been a wild ride.

How has your pregnancy been?

Sophi123 · 14/09/2020 08:06

Congrats @Littlebee1990! We have very similar stories - my EDD is 20/05/21 too and I also had a chemical pregnancy in July. I tested again this morning at 15DPO (first tested 12DPO). Was excited as CB digital went to 2-3 weeks today, but was worried my FRER hadn't got darker and/or was a bit lighter when first looked. What do you think? Argh promised I wouldn't test all the time and obsess but couldn't help it!

Due date May 2021!
Elspethelf · 14/09/2020 08:11

@Sophi123 Tests getting darker aren't an accurate way to tell. Try not to stress too much!! You have all my best wishes

Cafeaulait27 · 14/09/2020 08:51

Hello! My due date is 11th May! First pregnancy, after 5 months of trying. So excited but scared!

Early scan booked for next Monday when I will be 6+6.

I did a pink dye test when my period was late and got a faint line, then did a digital which said ‘pregnant’. I did another pink dye test yesterday and got a really strong line so I was really happy!

Symptoms wise I’m bloated, not sleeping well, crazy dreams and nipples sometimes feel sore. Also getting milky white discharge and some cramping/weird belly sensations.

I had brown discharge For a few days when my period should’ve started, which I thought was my period (so I drank some wine!) then after 4 days the brown stuff stopped and never progressed into a proper period... that’s when I took a test! (And stopped drinking wine)!

Hi everyone ☺️☺️☺️

Cafeaulait27 · 14/09/2020 09:09

@bez91 I had brown blood when my period was meant to start, but it never went red so I did a test. Apparently it’s common!

MJM1608 · 14/09/2020 09:43

@DMBX @Beepbeep42 @Pinkiii @Elspethelf - thanks so much for your thoughts & well wishes ladies, really appreciate it! Currently just ringing and ringing the EPU but no answer yet - will probably take a while to get some answers! Will keep you updated & hope everything is well with you all today!

@elspethelf - your experience sounds scary & glad all is OK with you now, gives me some hope xxx

NRDoss · 14/09/2020 10:30

Hi All! So I got a positive result on Saturday (5w5d) and expected date is around 12 May 2021. I'm still waiting to attend to my first booking appointment with NHS. Not much of a morning sickness, but feeling nauseous at times. I'm particulary concerned now, because had a wee bit of spotting yesterday, and I'm just praying all the gods I know - because I had a MMC in May, and all this spotting is giving me shivers and stressing the hell out of me. Due to the previous experience with MMC, planning not to tell my parents until 12th week, but it would be good to share with somebody and get some positive vibes Smile

ScottishStardust · 14/09/2020 12:50

Hello everyone, hope you're all keeping well.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had appetite loss? I'm 6w 3d but I'm struggling to eat. I don't have morning sickness or nausea, but also no appetite. Even if I didn't have an appetite before pregnancy I could still eat, but I'm really struggling. Currently forcing myself to try eat my homemade soup, as I know I need to have something in me! Assuming this is/can be normal?

AislingIrish · 14/09/2020 13:21

@ScottishStardust not eating was how i presented in my first pregnancy. It will pass. I honestly survived on 3 or 4 bowls of cornflakes for weeks as it was the only thing I could put past me. I remember arguing with my husband about it. He kept saying I should be eating for the babies sake. I really just couldnt though. Strange lol! Dont worry though it is totally normal. I think by 12 weeks I was back eating normally xx
