Hey all! So I officially got my BFP last night, which puts me at 3weeks 3 days (I have another app telling me I'm at 4weeks 4 days) and I am due between 2nd and 8th May ❤️ I already feel super nauseous, and this will be baby number 3 (our last for sure). I was just wondering if anyone on here wanted to share this journey together - husband is brilliant but doesn't believe you can get nausea this quickly and I'm not close enough to my family to tell them just yet ☹️ so it might be a lonely journey for a little while x

Hello everyone, loving reading through all of your posts 🥰 Wanted like most of you’s to come online and share in our lovely news, as not telling people closest to us just yet. Currently around 5 / 6 weeks waiting on completing the maternity referral form. Only found out a week ago and this would be my first pregnancy. Haven’t really had any symptoms as such other than some cramps but until reading this thread I thought that was just me wishful thinking, but you’ve already put my mind at ease that I’m not making it up. It all seems very surreal at the moment, counting down the minutes until our first scan date so that I can be reassured little one is doing ok in there. Sending out lots of love and positive vibes, what a wonderful journey to be on together ☺️ x

Welliedays · 07/09/2020 17:52

Yes @unicornandsparkles, I'm hungry, but only want certain things. Like bread! I've had breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, second afternoon snack, about to have my tea and then no doubt another 3,000 snacks tonight

grandmasterstitch · 07/09/2020 18:02

@Welliedays my last pregnancy all I wanted was toast and boiled potatoes with butter 😂 I guess bland is key when you're feeling iffy

chestnutbear · 07/09/2020 18:06

Hello! I just joined the Facebook group. I am around 3-4weeks but my god my headaches and nausea are so bad!!! 😭

bez91 · 07/09/2020 19:34

Hi ladies 👋
Got my BFP today, due 18th May judging by my last period.

Won't be joining the Facebook group just yet, the name is too much of a giveaway before we tell people 😆

Only symptoms so far beside cramps is really really excessive saliva, I just hope it doesn't mean I'll have really bad morning sickness! I was lucky with #1 - Anyone else have this?

Wishing you all a healthy pregnancy

PopcornForDinner · 07/09/2020 21:45

Congratulations for all the BFPs!

About the Facebook group: I'm going to turn the privacy from 'private' to 'secret' as I just realised you can see me in it because I'm admin (don’t worry: no one else is visible to anyone except members).

❗️So if anyone wants to join the Facebook group, please PM me your email address, and I think I should be able to add you❗️

LittleLL · 08/09/2020 08:43

Hi all,

I'd love to join please. Due 16th May, second baby. My daughter is 2.5.

Feel like a lunatic for doing it all again - but also mega excited! x

Em4815 · 08/09/2020 08:46

On our 10th cycle I finally got a BFP this morning at 14dpo! Had a squinter a few months ago but other than that nothing ... I think I'm in shock!

If it sticks looks like I'll be due around 17th/18th May x

Due date May 2021!
UnicornAndSparkles · 08/09/2020 09:00

Welcome newbies!

Also feel like a lunatic doing it all again! My daughter has just turned 3.

Tinks123 · 08/09/2020 09:28

Just got my BFP! 😀

Based off of my last period, due date would be 17th May! Going to do a clear blue later to see if it'll give me an idea of how many weeks along I am☺️

Due date May 2021!
LittleLL · 08/09/2020 09:29

Similar age then @UnicornAndSparkles.

I feel nervous about being pregnant with a toddler. I had bad pelvic pain during my last pregnancy and was induced at 39 weeks with appalling oedema (possible precursor to preeclampsia so they wanted to get her out).

I really hope I just sail through this one, for my daughter sake!!

Yas1993 · 08/09/2020 09:36

Hi ladies!
Lovely readying through all your comments.
Congrats on all your babies!

My husband and I started trying for a baby and we fell straight away! We're still in shock and feel too lucky but also don't want to get too excited just incase.

I did a test 2&3 days ago and am now 13dpo. It would work out that I'm about 3 weeks and 3 days. AF due on the 11th Sept. My breasts are tender and I have cramps. Due date comes out on the NHS website as 23rd May which is scared as that was the date we had our wedding booked for this year but was cancelled due to Coronavirus! Maybe there is someone looking down on us 🥰🥰🥰 would love to hear about all of your journeys as time goes on.
I'm also thinking an early scan will be beneficial!? xxxx

UnicornAndSparkles · 08/09/2020 09:54

Absolutely @LittleLL , personally I think the age gap is a good one; we were going to wait a few more months so our daughter would be in school when baby arrives, but mother nature took her course! She'll be 4 months off starting school when baby arrives.

@Yas1993 congratulations! Early days but I booked a scan for 8+2, which is in 7 days time. Pros and cons tbh, if its bad news I find out with DH rather than alone (covid = no partners at scans), and if there is a heartbeat the chances of miscarriage decrease considerably so I'll be less worried thereafter.

Beepbeep42 · 08/09/2020 10:19

@LittleLL my son is 2.5 too and I'm also very nervous about being pregnant with a toddler Smile at least running about after him will keep me fitter than last time!

5 weeks tomorrow and already feeling quite achey in the hips and legs in the office chair. Should probably rake out the pregnancy yoga dvd.

Pinkiii · 08/09/2020 10:53

Pregnancy with a toddler is a lot harder! I miss first pregnancy when I could just stay in bed when I could and do the bare minimum, much better for fitness levels though Grin

Welcome to all the newcomers! Congratulations on all your BFP’s.

grandmasterstitch · 08/09/2020 11:10

I nannied 4 kids last time I was pregnant so I figured how hard could pregnancy be with one toddler. Turns out nannying 7-6 three days a week is a complete doddle compared to having a 2 year old 24/7 😂

Tinks123 · 08/09/2020 11:17

Just took a second test and it says 2-3... is this what I should expect to see if I conceived around the 24th August?

It's my first and am 21, all very new to this! Sorry 🤣😅

Due date May 2021!
grandmasterstitch · 08/09/2020 11:50

@Tinks123 you need to go from the first day of your last period to judge how many weeks you are. Digital tests are usually out by a week or 2

Welliedays · 08/09/2020 11:52

Yes @tinks123 that sounds right, those tests are based on the date when you conceived, so are different to how many weeks pregnant you'll say you are, which is based on the first day of your last period. Hope that makes sense!

Tinks123 · 08/09/2020 11:53

Going from the first day of my last period 10th August (using the nhs due date calculator) it suggests my due date is 17th May. The Flo app suggests I conceived on the 24th August... I think the 2-3 on the tests somewhat follows that?☺️

Happysunshine1 · 08/09/2020 11:54

Morning :)

Those of you who have been through pregnancy before, can you remember at which week you began to feel nauseous or have sickness?

X

Trousersareoverrated · 08/09/2020 12:04

Hello everyone, can I join? Just got BFP yesterday and am only about 3 weeks along. Have a 2yo already but I didn’t find out with her until around 7 weeks so this early bit is making me anxious.

@Happysunshine1 I didn’t actually ever feel nauseous in my last pregnancy (except when I took my pregnacare tablet without food once) so I was very very lucky.

UnicornAndSparkles · 08/09/2020 13:09

Hardly ever felt nauseous in my first pregnancy, maybe a little during the first trimester. This time it kicked in at 6 weeks and is grim!

Tinks123 · 08/09/2020 13:47

Only symptom I've had is sore/ heavy/ tingly (basically feel odd) boobs!

What has everyone else experienced?

MrsBmaybebaby · 08/09/2020 13:49

Hello again everyone! Congrats to the new folk :) I went a bit awol as my brain is also a bit awol, ha ha! Is there a Facebook group? I tried to look back through messages but can’t figure out how to search for it Confused No surprises with baby brain!

How is everyone doing? I am currently exhausted (5wk +4)and already has a health condition with main symptom of fatigue ! I work full time in a stressful job, but feel this is getting harder and harder. My boss knows but haven’t had time to discuss yet. How are other people managing work?
