Hey all! So I officially got my BFP last night, which puts me at 3weeks 3 days (I have another app telling me I'm at 4weeks 4 days) and I am due between 2nd and 8th May ❤️ I already feel super nauseous, and this will be baby number 3 (our last for sure). I was just wondering if anyone on here wanted to share this journey together - husband is brilliant but doesn't believe you can get nausea this quickly and I'm not close enough to my family to tell them just yet ☹️ so it might be a lonely journey for a little while x

@izzytuz same here so anxious. First pregnancy and after trying for 14 months. I cant help but feel anxious, especially as been spotting. X

Mseddy · 02/09/2020 13:33

Hey can I join please? I got my BFP on Sunday 6days post 5 day blast embryo. It was my second round of Ivf after a big fail on the first one. I'm petrified as its taken us so long to get to this point! I'm 4 weeks today and got a stronger positive this morning after a weaker one that frightened the life out of me on Monday! I'll join the Facebook group too.

@DoctorBambino you can book whereever you like to give birth. I'm a neonatal nurse so I'll only be booking at a hospital with a level 3 neonatal unit which isn't my local hospital, but that's just my fears from work playing on my mind!

izzytuz · 02/09/2020 13:33

yeah! the stress and anxiety is kinda killing me.. my husband thinks i'm overthinking it.. but as a mom, i feel loads of responsibility!! i kinda wanna go the gynae right now, but i know it is kinda early..

have you seen the gynae for your spotting?

Whilstwewait · 02/09/2020 13:39

@izzytuz no I haven't bothered as everything is telling me its completely normal and there's nothing they can do this early anyway. My husband is the same telling me not to worry but so hard when its our bodies x

Hogglebear · 02/09/2020 13:45

@izzytuz congratulations! Yes, I found out at the weekend and I am worried about everything! Trying not to but it's all so new and unknown. It's so hard not to isn't it. Trying to keep off Google now! X

DoctorBambino · 02/09/2020 14:12

@Mseddy ooh thats interesting, looks like both of my local ones are level 2. Huge congratulations to you on your IVF baby, I imagine the worry and anxiety is even more overwhelming than usual in those circumstances so here's to a healthy and calm 9 months!

Shinea · 02/09/2020 15:15

Hello ladies
So I have this question, can I do bit of household chores like sweeping and dishes cleaning cooking and so on.
I know it's better to stay active but after my previous miscarriage I dont know if I can do that or should i hire a maid for it?
I am 5 weeks pregnant today

Busybee143 · 02/09/2020 16:07

@shinea I would carry on as you have been, I think being active is better for your health

UnicornAndSparkles · 02/09/2020 16:14

Doing household chores won't cause a miscarriage. Just avoid bleach and breathing in strong fumes.

grandmasterstitch · 02/09/2020 16:38

@Shinea it certainly won't do any harm but if you want to use it as an excuse, have at it 😂

Shinea · 02/09/2020 16:39

Thanks @Busybee143 and @UnicornAndSparkles I ll continue working as usual then 🤞🤞

Shinea · 02/09/2020 16:40

@grandmasterstitch hehe yeah but I would like to stay bit active though 🙈

stepmumSW5 · 02/09/2020 16:58

Following @Shinea's post what kind of activity are you guys planning to do to stay active? I wanted to carry on with yoga

Pinkiii · 02/09/2020 17:19

To the first time mums, I will give you the advice a nurse gave me when I was pregnant with my first... WALK. She said she tells every pregnant woman she meets to walk as much as she can. Nothing helps you with labour as much as walking will do.

I walked everyday for at least 30/40mins (harder towards the end) but i truly believe this helped me have an easier labour, my sister also contributes walking to an easier labour with her second.

stepmumSW5 · 02/09/2020 17:31

@Pinkiii thank you 🙏

Allgirlmum · 02/09/2020 20:01

Well I’ve done a
Clear blue digital today it says 2-3 I’m actually shocked so much because I started to bleed on the 27 jul and passed all and was expecting a 1-2 on the digital test 🙈

ScottishStardust · 02/09/2020 20:17

Is anyone else feeling all bunged up / runny nose?? Trying to figure out if it's pregnancy related, or being back in the office with air con or if I just have a cold 🤣 but I don't feel like I have a cold as feel ok otherwise.

Allgirlmum · 02/09/2020 20:56

@ScottishStardust sounds like a cold 🥶

ScottishStardust · 02/09/2020 21:04

Thanks @Allgirlmum ... went you read inline that hormones can does congestion and stuff makes you wonder! Not had a cold in around a year so probably my time, great timing eh!
