Hey all! So I officially got my BFP last night, which puts me at 3weeks 3 days (I have another app telling me I'm at 4weeks 4 days) and I am due between 2nd and 8th May ❤️ I already feel super nauseous, and this will be baby number 3 (our last for sure). I was just wondering if anyone on here wanted to share this journey together - husband is brilliant but doesn't believe you can get nausea this quickly and I'm not close enough to my family to tell them just yet ☹️ so it might be a lonely journey for a little while x

@Sansa87 I am sorry. Everything crossed for a sticky little bean 🤞 xx

Happysunshine1 · 29/08/2020 19:59

Hi all! @PopcornForDinner thanks so much for setting up the facebook group.
I'm hopeless with technology! Just to check, I know our friends cant see the members in the group, but will it show up as a group I'm in? Just wanting to wait a bit longer before we tell them. Thanks! :)

Bubbaella · 29/08/2020 20:32
@Bubbaella No, it's a private group so only members can see who the other group members are. And posts won't show up in your friends' newsfeedsSmile
Brilliant thank you. I will add myself now

Happysunshine1 · 29/08/2020 20:50

Great thankyou! :-) looking forward to joining it!

MummyFD · 29/08/2020 20:58

@Shinea I'd definitely say it was normal! I was feeling like that up until Thursday and I am 4+6 now x

Just for those who have sore, heavy breasts. This tops are amazing for light support. I find it really uncomfortable sleeping in a bra, so these really helped me when my breasts felt like boulders! Come in different colours too

@PopcornForDinner thanks for creating the FB page, i’ve requested to join.
I’ve been feeling really sick the last couple of days - but not actually being sick. Read somewhere that eating a dry biscuit as soon as you wake up can help so tried it today and i’ve had no sickness feeling all day! Little tip for anybody who might be feeling the same. H2b thought I was mental having a box of rich tea in the bedside drawer! Grin

I've actually bought some crackers to put next to the bed this evening. DH was unpacking the shopping and asked where I wanted it, he gave me a weird look when I said next to bed Grin hoping it will help as with my first I was nauseous but if I ate something, however small, it really helped

Hopeful1712 · 29/08/2020 23:13

@PopcornForDinner Same for me, I found that I didn't really want to eat but when I did I felt better. But was really cynical that it wouldn't work, but after spending all week thinking I was going to be sick anything was worth a go! So surprised that i’ve not felt sick all day today. Fingers crossed it lasts!

littlegold · 29/08/2020 23:50

It's funny how every trust is different in regards to the scans. At the mo mine states you can have your DP at 20 week scan only (better than nothing I suppose!)

Thanks for setting up the fb group @PopcornForDinner I have requested to join too x

Gingergeek89 · 30/08/2020 00:03

@Bubbaella thank you for the recommendation. Have really being struggling at night even with a sports bra so have ordered a couple to help with sleep

PopcornForDinner · 30/08/2020 07:25

@Happysunshine1 No, I'm pretty sure the groups you're in aren't visible to friends anymore at all on Facebook. The only time you can see groups is if someone else is in the same group with you, I think. I tested this with several of my friends, and I can only see their 'interests' and sometimes liked pages - but no groups 😅

Happysunshine1 · 30/08/2020 07:28

@PopcornForDinner thankyou! I joined last night. Thanks so much for setting it up, it's much easier to use and follow!

ScottishStardust · 30/08/2020 07:32

Hi @PopcornForDinner thanks for creating the group, I may hang back until I've had my 12 week scan or folk know! Personally just a bit cautious that the group would show on my 'what groups are you in' area but don't want you to change the settings for me! I'm happy to hang back! Thanks for the efforts x

Sansa87 · 30/08/2020 07:48

I was in one for February babies and no one knew I was in it, though that one was a secret group.

No one will be able to see you’re in it, but people are able to search for it and request to join. Though they won’t automatically be included until it’s accepted.

Due date May 2021!
Natty47 · 30/08/2020 08:34

@PopcornForDinner Thanks for setting up the FB group! I have requested to join.

How’s everyone feeling today? I’m 5+2 and since 4 weeks I’ve found I’m waking up a lot in the night and find it hard to stay asleep past 7am. So in a nutshell I’m feeling tired!

PopcornForDinner · 30/08/2020 08:34

@ScottishStardust I don’t think that section exists anymore on Facebook! Happy to be proven wrong, but I can't see any of my friends' groups.

But totally understand wanting to be cautious. Hopefully see you on the group later on ☺️

Hopeful1712 · 30/08/2020 09:52

@Natty47 i’m 6 weeks today and struggling with sleep, can be awake for hours at a time through the night. I just seem to feel so full and can’t get comfy. Felt fluy the last couple of days too, so hoping for a quiet Sunday! Hope everybody else is okay. Xx

Sansa87 · 30/08/2020 09:55

@Natty47 same! I’m pretty good at falling asleep, but can’t stay asleep. I woke up so many times in the night. I gave up by 6am and just got ready for work.

Feeling a mixture of exhausted/hungry/nauseous this morning. Keep reminding myself not to moan about the symptoms because they’re likely to be a good sign!

ScottishStardust · 30/08/2020 10:06

Oh perhaps I'm still living in 2015 if the section has removed!! I've just got some pals who like to snoop out stuff to catch you out haha!!

Regarding sleep.. I've forgotten already what it is! Awake every morning by 6am! It's frustrating!

We were at my friends last night, but had to nip to my folks this morning and my Dad said I 'Hungover? Looks like it was a late night, you look rough' - cheers Dad Grin

grandmasterstitch · 30/08/2020 10:13

I was awake a few times in the night, aided by my 3 year old. Everything about these early weeks is exhausting. I'm so looking forward to the energy spurt!

MagOby · 30/08/2020 10:14

@PopcornForDinner nice initiative. I’ve sent a request on Facebook. Smile

MagOby · 30/08/2020 10:28

Story of an obsessed girl😂Hmm I just had to. Anyone else found themselves comparing test results?

Due date May 2021!
grandmasterstitch · 30/08/2020 10:37

@MagOby 🙋🏼‍♀️ it's the only way you can get even the slightest idea of what's going on. I've only taken two but I'll probably take a couple more. I wish they did a test at the booking appointment 😂

Happysunshine1 · 30/08/2020 10:47

Hi everyone!

Just wondered, those of you who have booking appointments booked in, at what stage are they? We will be 8+2. Really hoping it wont be a full 4 weeks until the scan after that!

Wishing you all all the best! :)
