Hey all! So I officially got my BFP last night, which puts me at 3weeks 3 days (I have another app telling me I'm at 4weeks 4 days) and I am due between 2nd and 8th May ❤️ I already feel super nauseous, and this will be baby number 3 (our last for sure). I was just wondering if anyone on here wanted to share this journey together - husband is brilliant but doesn't believe you can get nausea this quickly and I'm not close enough to my family to tell them just yet ☹️ so it might be a lonely journey for a little while x

Seems strange that it varies so much, partners are allowed now where I am too so hopefully things don't get worse again.

I still have no symptoms at all but will see what happens as its such early days. Have been on leave from work for a few days though so I'm wondering when I'm back on Monday I'll maybe be much more tired.

Hope you ladies all have a good weekend!

Bubbaella · 29/08/2020 13:17

Hey ladies hope everyone is well. Hope it’s ok to join, my edd is 4th May

This was quite unexpected for me as I had a miscarriage, at 14 weeks, on Xmas eve last year. I also have 3dc, 8 year old and 5 year old twins.

I’m a little more worried about this one due to previous mc and being 41 years old. Trying not to stress too much but it’s all a bit overwhelming at the minute.

Also wanted to offer an advice I can (sorry if I sound like a know-it-all) as with my previous pregnancies, I’ve been through a lot! First dd was full term but twins were born at 29 weeks.

Bubbaella · 29/08/2020 13:18

@ScottishStardust

Partners are allowed in our area, which I'm so thankful for! I would speak to the authorities about it - odd how different areas have different rules.
Unfortunately, partners are not allowed in our area at the moment as were a Covid hotspot
ScottishStardust · 29/08/2020 14:05

Aww that's a pest @Bubbaella

We've recently been in a local lockdown and at that time we were restricted to mother only, but since been lifted! Fingers crossed this happens to your area.

Congratulations as well in your BFP, and sorry to hear about your mc last year!

I'm trying not to think too much about things, I guess it's kind of out with our control!

PopcornForDinner · 29/08/2020 14:32

Hello! I found out I'm pregnant a few days ago with #3.

I had a MMC in May, and a chemical pregnancy immediately after, so I'm very nervous about this one - but hoping it'll stick around.

I find MN hard to keep up with, so I would be happy to start a FB group (unless someone else already has?)

FirstTimeMumMay2021 · 29/08/2020 14:48

Hello, I'm very new to this as I've just found out I'm expecting my first on the 1st may!
Very excited!
Just wondering how peoples midwife appointments have been? My first felt like a bit of an anticlimax... it has been split into 3 due to Coronavirus and the length of time they are allowed to spend with people so I don't feel like I really gained any information and being a first timer I'm feeling a little bit bewildered!
They said they would do my booking appointment over the phone in 2 weeks time then my blood tests etc after that

Smp321 · 29/08/2020 15:04

@FirstTimeMumMay2021 Firstly congratulations and welcome! Mine was exactly the same. From what I gathered the first phone call wasn't an official appointment. It was just a few details to be able to be referred to your local midwifery team who will then contact you to schedule your booking appointment for around week 8.

Mine going forward is the same, so booking appointment over the phone and then a separate appointment for blood tests.

From what i've worked out i'm due on the 2nd so we are fairly close!

PopcornForDinner · 29/08/2020 15:36

Hi, everyone!

I've now made a (private) Facebook group if anyone would like to join: www.facebook.com/groups/336746884362208/?ref=share

The members list is not visible to others on Facebook -- but I'm happy to make it a secret group (although in that case, you would need to send me a PM to your Facebook profile, and I would need to add you as a friend (and then delete you as a friend) as I think that’s the only way to add members to a secret group?

Shinea · 29/08/2020 15:45

So i had faint positive on 10 dpo, visible bfp on 12 dpo. Today I m 19dpo(4w3d) and feeling almost like AF is about to come, super scared now.
So is it quite normal at 4 weeks+3days?

grandmasterstitch · 29/08/2020 15:51

Thanks @PopcornForDinner I've requested to join

I've not spoken to a GP or midwife yet, I'll make a booking appointment for the end of September I think. I'm a bit sad it's on the phone, I like having a chat with the midwife

Blughbablugh · 29/08/2020 15:54

Thanks Popcorn I've just joined the facebook group.
I've been feeling so tired today, currently watching The Little mermaid with DD on the sofa.

abitfunny · 29/08/2020 16:23

Thank you @PopcornForDinner I’ve also requested to join x

Sansa87 · 29/08/2020 16:54

I’ve requested to join... hopefully it doesn’t come up on other people’s. This is why I didn’t make it as I’m awful with technology 😅

Thankyou so much for doing it ❤️

JanQi · 29/08/2020 17:07

I've requested to join too 😊 @Sansa87 don't worry, it's a private group so only people in it will be able to see who the members are.

Emily552 · 29/08/2020 17:15

Hi everyone - congrats on all the BFP’s!!

I am currently around 4wks + 4 with my first, due date on the NHS website is 4th May. I’m feeling super anxious and having quite a lot of cramping down my left hand side but nothing too painful, trying to stay calm and hope it’s all normal pains! Had a lot of nausea over the last week but no sickness thankfully! I have booked a private scan in four weeks but it feels like soooo long away!

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend x

Bubbaella · 29/08/2020 17:39

@JanQi

I've requested to join too 😊 *@Sansa87* don't worry, it's a private group so only people in it will be able to see who the members are.
Hi, I’m a bit rubbish at Facebook! If I join, does that mean no one on my friends list will know I’ve joined? Also, if I post, does it show up in my newsfeed! Thanks
Piggers946 · 29/08/2020 18:00

Thanks everyone, I'm sad and disappointed but nothing we can do to change it. We'll try again next year when h2b is home from deployment again. Good luck with everything everyone :)

PopcornForDinner · 29/08/2020 18:02

@Bubbaella No, it's a private group so only members can see who the other group members are. And posts won't show up in your friends' newsfeedsSmile

Pickio · 29/08/2020 18:30

Hi ladies, could I join too please? Had my BFP today 😬

Sansa87 · 29/08/2020 18:52

Congrats @Pickio

Sansa87 · 29/08/2020 18:53

@Pickio there were supposed to be emojis and extra on that, but hit send too quick 😂😂😂 it looks so short!

Pickio · 29/08/2020 18:58

@Sansa87 don't worry!
Its my first post, finally took the plunge after following the TTC chats for a while. Like everyone we'll be keeping things to ourselves for a while so would love to share my journey with you all x

Sansa87 · 29/08/2020 19:08

@Pickio had you been trying long? Do you have babies already

Pickio · 29/08/2020 19:10

@Sansa87 we have been trying for #2 for 4 months. I have a little boy who is 5. How about you?

Sansa87 · 29/08/2020 19:19

@Pickio aww.

This is our second pregnancy. We got our first bfp in June, but we lost him at 6 weeks. Got our bfp 4 weeks 4 days after the surgery.

Hoping this one is a strong one.
