Hey all! So I officially got my BFP last night, which puts me at 3weeks 3 days (I have another app telling me I'm at 4weeks 4 days) and I am due between 2nd and 8th May ❤️ I already feel super nauseous, and this will be baby number 3 (our last for sure). I was just wondering if anyone on here wanted to share this journey together - husband is brilliant but doesn't believe you can get nausea this quickly and I'm not close enough to my family to tell them just yet ☹️ so it might be a lonely journey for a little while x

@abitfunny i’m due 6th according to the NHS calculator. My first pregnancy was a dream too. Some sickness towards the end of my first trimester but nothing too bad. Fingers crossed we have the same again.

BabyE8 · 28/08/2020 09:29

Hello! Been lingering around this thread since Monday but wanted to wait until I had a good strong line before joining officially lol.

Pregnant with first baby, TTC for over a year with one early MC in June.. trying to stay as calm / relaxed as I can and just taking each day as it comes.

Congrats to everyone here💗 My due date is 5th May which I see a few people have the same! X

Nevada54 · 28/08/2020 10:17

Congratulations everyone!

I’m 4w today, been having strong symptoms since 7dpo which has been a bit of a shock.

I’m absolutely wiped out too, I don’t remember being this tired last time.. but I can blame that one on the toddler I guess.

I had an early scan last time (9w), just trying to decide if I can justify it again

Sansa87 · 28/08/2020 10:26

Hi, bit worried about joining and jinxing everything, but I got this this morning at 12dpo.

We started ttc late May and got our bfp on 18th June. Sadly it ended in a mmc which needed surgical management on 27th July.

The midwife said I only had to wait for a negative pg test before trying again as long as mentally felt okay, so I technically haven’t had a period since 26th May. I think I’ll had an edd of 7th May if I go by ovulation.

Last time I was shaking and crying and excited when I saw it was a bfp, I thought it would take a while. Even though it’s happened first go again, I don’t have those same feelings. Having a miscarriage really does take a bit of excitement away, & leads the way for anxiety.

Going with the optimistic route though! Hopefully this little bean is strong, and we will be holding our baby this time next year.

@Sansa87 congratulations! I also have a EDD of the 7th too and I relate to not feeling as excited when seeing the BFP.

I was instantly worried about having a repeat of last time and I'm absolutely dreading my first scan and being told there's nothing there but as a PP said (I think it was on this thread) it's a different sperm, different egg, different pregnancy xx

grandmasterstitch · 28/08/2020 12:24

Congratulations @Sansa87 I feel the same about not being as excited. Last time it took 18 months and I was so excited and incredibly relieved! This time it feels almost too good to be true that it happened first time. I'm almost expecting something to go wrong

OneStepOneStumble · 28/08/2020 14:28

@Busybee143 same due date as me Smile

I'm still having no symptoms except today I had some cramping so am trying to be positive. It's my first so I don't really know what to expect and don't want to over react but you only ever hear of cramping as a bad thing. Appointments seem so far away!

MrsRSS · 28/08/2020 14:31

Hi everyone! Hope no one minds me joining! I’ve just got my BFP and I’m in shock. I had a molar pregnancy in January - 2 surgeries and then an ashermans diagnosis following this and surgery to remove the scarring last month. I’m terrified this won’t stick but hoping for the best. Starting progesterone tonight. Eeeek. Praying for us all to have sticky beans xx

Due date May 2021!
JanQi · 28/08/2020 14:40

Hi, finally biting the bullet and joining this thread too!

I got my first BFP on Monday on a Clearblue digital. I'm not 100% on my dates because my cycles are irregular but my app has my DD at 4th May! I've had cramps every day since and a tiny bit of pinky brown CM so it's really reassuring to see some of you are having the same. The only other symptom I've got is sore boobs but I'm definitely feeling emotional today. It's so weird because it literally just feels like I'm about to come on my period at any moment. All I do is check my knickers every five minutes.

Is anyone else weirdly desperate for more symptoms? I feel like if/when the sickness kicks in I might actually feel like I'm pregnant and not just PMSing.

grandmasterstitch · 28/08/2020 14:48

Congratulations @JanQi same EDD as me Smile although I feel a bit of a fraud on this thread, I'll almost definitely have a c section a week early which will put me into April but you guys all seem so lovely!

I'm only really having cramping and sore boobs at night but trying not to worry. Last time I was terribly worried and asked a GP friend for her advice. She said there's nothing you can do to stop a pregnancy going either way which wasn't what I wanted to hear at the time but she's right. It's all out of our control now (unfortunately!)

MrsBmaybebaby · 28/08/2020 15:00

Hello everyone! Okay if I join too? Just found out today that I’m pregnant (4 weeks today)- had a negative earlier this week but I said to my husband... I may sound deluded but I’m sure I am! And here we are 😊 this is my first baby and first cycle trying! how is everyone keeping? I think I noticed a couple of familiar names although haven’t read through most of the posts. The last couple of days I’m feeling pretty healthy and strong, after the initial what the hell are all these symptoms!

😃😃😃

Busybee143 · 28/08/2020 15:25

@OneStepOneStumble dd twins!! How far gone are you? I have short cycles! I'm somewhere between 5 +1 and 5+4

OneStepOneStumble · 28/08/2020 15:27

@Busybee143 i think 5.4 or 5.5!

OneStepOneStumble · 28/08/2020 15:30

I'm with you @JanQi - every time I'm out, I'm convinced I feel my period or something start and get super paranoid til I get home and it's nothing. Wishing for other symptoms to 'prove' to myself I'm pregnant at all. But sure I'll regret that if and when they appear!

Nevada54 · 28/08/2020 15:51

My due date is 7th May too :)

My little one was at nursery today and all I wanted to do was nap. Luckily (??) I’m still furloughed, not sure I would be coping at work right now

BabyE8 · 28/08/2020 16:42

Can I ask everyone who already has a little one, when does the “oh shit my period started” feeling go away??

Also during my last short-lived pregnancy the thread like this one started a private Facebook group which was great, I’ve tried reading back a bit but couldn’t see, has anyone started a Facebook group for May 21 babies? X

Piggers946 · 28/08/2020 16:51

Well, I'll be taking my leave from you ladies. I tested again this morning after the bleeding stopped last night and got two BFNs sadly, looks like I had an early mc. Absolutely gutted but can't do anything to change it unfortunately 😔

We'll be trying again once h2b returns from deployment, which will hopefully be around January time. Though hoping they return sooner than that.

Good luck everyone and congratulations again on your pregnancies. As gutted as I am, I am happy for all of you!

grandmasterstitch · 28/08/2020 16:56

@BabyE8 probably about 6 weeks? That's when all the symptoms kick in really. My February 2018 group is on Facebook, it's definitely worth starting one I think

@Piggers946 so so sorry to hear you've lost the baby Thanks I hope you're able to rest and have some support around you

Sansa87 · 28/08/2020 17:19

I’m still in a private fb group for feb ‘21 babies. I couldn’t bring myself to leave after I lost our bubba. I loved telling them all This morning that we got our bfp.

Someone should definitely make a May ‘21 group. I found it much easier to follow.

Hopeful1712 · 28/08/2020 17:53

Oh @Piggers946 i’m so sorry to read this. I hope you have some support around you. Wishing you so much luck for when you try again when your h2b gets home. Look after yourself. Xxx

ScottishStardust · 28/08/2020 18:16

Busybee143 · 28/08/2020 19:26
