@mrsmummy1111 I’m about 4+5/6
They said the fluid accumulated was in the wrong place ? I have bloods again tomorrow and if they haven’t risen then they will offer me methotrexate but I’m not willing to go down that path until I’ve had another scan to confirm
I don’t want to take that without 100% certainty
To be honest, everyone was from the radiologist, to the nurse to the registrar was Uber negative so although there’s a small small glimmer of hope, it don’t want to be that person that clings on with blind faith, especially in the face of what trained professionals are a saying

@LittleRa Me! Im not planning on an early scan unless OH is not allowed at 12 week scan. How did you find out he is? I suppose I just need to ring the hospital 😆
@MrsEmilyB I just haven't googled a single thing, Im on constant knicker watch mind. Compared to most on here I ha e very mild symptoms. My boobs do hurt though, so I can no longer go running 🙈 I find keeping busy helps.

@Mustbemad82 I also thought you would be too early to see anything? 🤞🤞 for you. Sending you all the virtual hugs, must be auful having a doctor tell you that

@blodyn91 They told me at booking in appt, I’d also already seen a post about it on the hospital’s Facebook page.

@blodyn91 - I'm not going to Google anything anymore!! Torturing myself 😂 ooh my boobs are sore too - going down the stairs hurts when they bounce haha

@LittleRa my booking in appointment isnt until Im 9weeks... then might be too late to book an early scan. Going to try and find my maternity ward on FB now

@MrsEmilyB Google will always tell you that you are going to die if you google enough times 😂 OH was ill over the weekend (exhaustion with work shift- those things are so unhealthy) he self diagnosed himself to have this genetic disease that means he will waste away slowly. I was like no hun, you need to sleep, rest, and eat bananas and plain toast. He is now back to normal.

@MrsEmilyB mine are pretty much constant then periods of none, and same level of mildness. Bit of boob pain but nothing regular. No shooting vag pain - you do get a lot more blood flow down there though so surely it's that?

@blodyn91 oh that's so good! Stoke need to get their shit together, not allowed at either here :(

I haven't done a PG test this morning to try and spot a progression line as it had only got slightly darker yesterday and it stressed me out and triggered anxiety I think. So I've left it and some clear blue with the weeks are coming so I'll do one of those at some point. I'm 4+1 today - will I want it to say 3+??

Any plans for the rapidly upcoming weekend ladies? I've got a friend coming to stay (I moved from Wales to Cambridgeshire in December so have lost all my pals and Rona interrupted my plans to make new ones!) so that'll be lush. Although I've somehow got to hide the fact I'm not drinking! No-secco and alcohol free Rose is in the fridge 😂 DH gonna be our waiter so he controls the drinks!

@mrsemilyb thats a good idea with the drinks!
I managed to get away with fake gins a few weekends back. So Ill be 6 weeks tomorrow. I got 3+ on clear blue last Friday at 5 weeks. The 3+ doesn't take i to account the first tww, so if you are only 4 weeks it will show 2-3 most likely.
Where in Wales are you from? No plans here, got another little bike race.

@samilicious Hopefully they'll lift the restrictions there soon. You are just over the country border to me, so Telford and Shrewsbury both allow OH at scans. 🤞

@Mustbemad82 you don't sound doom and gloom at all, definitely hard to stay positive if the Drs tell you to prepare for the worst x

@blodyn91 I'm the same as you, I'm avoiding google, there is just so much info out there it makes it kinda pointless. I'm with you on the lack of symptoms now and I'm adopting your approach of staying upbeat until I get evidence not to be. Definitely helps being at work all day with people that don't know, means I have less time to indulge my negative thoughts that creep in 🥳 whoop whoop to OH being allowed at scans, really hoping mine is allowed by the time I get to 20weeks, just feel like scans are the time men really get to connect and makes it real for them x

@MrsEmilyB I'd definitely try and avoid daily tests, it'll drive you mad.. CB weeks is time since conception so if you're 16dpo when you do the test it should show 2-3 ☺️ it will show 3+ after 21dpo but can be a few days out so don't panic either way. Sounds like a good plan with the drinks, I had my friend over to mine just after I found out and was on the seedlip and tonics 🍸 I'm unfortunately working Saturday and then will probably sleep on Sunday 😂

P.S you lot are bloody late to bed, I've been getting into bed at like 8.45 🤪 attempting to get 8hrs sleep every night before my alarm goes off just after 6am 😴

@blodyn91 ahh that makes sense. Thank you! So worried my friend is gonna guess. I'll totally be telling her once I've had a 9 week scan and everything is fine as she is one of my besties but I really don't want friends knowing before parents. I'm not actually from Wales, but lived their from 2010 to 2019! Initially in Cardiff then moved to Coedkernew (near Tredegar House). Are you from Wales?

Moved early scan to Sunday 6th as DH forgot he had a friend coming to stay on Friday/Saturday that week 🙄 by LMP I'll be 7+1 but going by ovulation I'll be 6+4.

@SmileyT haha thank you ❤️ our development is hosting "Summer Saturdays" in one of our fields so we are going to head down there. They have food trucks and a pop up bar. I'll go get food with her whilst DH gets me a "vodka" lemonade 😂

How did you guys tell parents? And when? We are planning to tell hubby's parents on our 2 year wedding anniversary next Thursday. His mum has been through MC before so we'd want her to know and support us if anything went wrong. My dad lives ages away and we are seeing him on 28th so we thought that's probably gonna have to be when we tell him too. I'll be 5+1 and 5+2 respectively. Don't think we'll tell them about the early scan yet else we'll be hounded!! 😂

@blodyn91 Such a relief isn't it, partners are currently allowed at both scans at my hospital too - just hoping it doesn't change before mine 🤞🏼

@samilicious hope you're hospital changes policy soon! They are changing all the time so there's still hope for 20wk if not 12!

@MrsEmilyB I got 2-3 weeks on clearblue at 4+6 and then got 3+ the following week at 5+6 if that helps, although of course everyone's levels will differ so don't panic if you don't get what you were expecting (or expect the lower option and the higher is a bonus?!) Not many plans here for the weekend, now not going to the early scan on Saturday even though I secretly kinda want to still, Sunday we are finally getting to go out for a meal that we planned ages ago but had to cancel due to OH getting called into work so that'll be nice.

Also we will now be scan buddies on 6th September! 🥳 I've told my mum already, did that just a week after finding out myself as I needed someone to talk to so I was 4+5 at the time. We are telling OH parents after the 9wk scan providing everything goes well, will get a little card for them and put the scan pic inside. Not telling my dad until 12wk scan, I don't trust him to keep it secret 😂 plus he lives alone and so wouldn't be nice for him to have no one to talk about it to for a few weeks until he's allowed if we told him early.

@SmileyT I was in bed early too 😂 went to sleep at around 9:20pm and other than being awake for a while after my 3am wee I then slept in til 8am and it was so nice 👌🏼

@MrsEmilyB I think it says you need to ideally be around 5wweks + to get 3+ on CB

@blodyn91 so lucky with the scan so far we've been told defo no for the 12w maybe for the 20w!

I seem to be getting lots of shooting pains sporadically in the day and especially when I roll over in bed! Im defo not ectopic so did a quick google (naughty!) said round ligament pain? Anyone else got these? Xx

@Mococo1 yes! I always get pain when moving in bed! Almost stich like but lower down

@SmileyT id defo be in bed by 8.45 if I had to get up for work at 6am! I'm still wfh so I get up at 8.30 lol and am in bed most days at 9.45 🤣 my peak tiredness is at about 4pm (but I'm still logged on so can't nap it out 😩) it's been getting better lately so happy about that

Forgot to tell you guys! So my £10 Doppler came yesterday 😂 and although it says not to use until 14 weeks I had a little play and I couldn't hear anything but for a split second it registered 162bpm so really hoping It wasn't a glitch caught little bub on it! X

Don't have many symptoms today but it's normal for them to come and go, right? The lack of nausea is allowing me to eat something other than plain carbs at least 😂😂

I am being sooo lazy today! Slept in until 8am, got up had breakfast and went back to bed to watch tv, and now just had another nap 😂 literally all I need to do today is the ironing which will take max 2 hours and I can't even be bothered to do that!

@MrsEmilyB I’ve had cramps on and off nearly every day and any other symptoms are mild & intermittent. And I only saw line progression on tests when I waited a day or 2 between each test. I will be doing my last test tomorrow which is the CB weeks indicator so I’m hoping to see 3+ (I’ll be 5+5).

@ltay2 Ohhh I'm just 1 day ahead of you both with early scans. I’m 5th September and I’ll be 7+6 . I’ll probably tell my best friend after that scan because I am itching to tell her.

@MrsEmilyB Oh and my weekend plans involve telling out parents & siblings! We’re telling his family by giving his mam a Nanny card with message inside (its her birthday Friday) and I’ll be making biscuits to tell my family. I’ll take some photos and share with you 😊… so I’m both excited & shitting myself haha

Is anyone keeping a pregnancy journal? If so, are you just keeping a freehand diary or using a specific book with prompts & stuff? I would like to but atm just have notes on my phone.

@Ltay2 ahh that sounds perfect! 😍 I've been at work which has kept my brain busy and I feel a lot calmer today, despite my only symptom being very mild intermittent uterine cramping and the usual bloating.

@Sausage1990 that makes me feel so much better. Thank you ❤️❤️ my CB digis arrived today so I'm planning on taking one Sunday or Monday when I'm 4+4/5 and one a week later to check for progression. Your weekend plans sound mega exciting!!! 🎉 I've just bought a pregnancy journal for £5.99 from Amazon 😊

@MrsEmilyB I'm going to tell my parents at about 19weeks with a card for their birthday (their birthdays are 3 days apart) with a little note in it, they'll love it. Although I'm sure my mum will comment on the fact I don't look like I've been to the gym when I see her next week 🤪

@Ltay2 strangely I was up for an hour around 3am aswell, obviously made my OH wake up aswell 😂 also what the hell are you ironing? I've never even ironed anything since school, 2hrs of that does not seem like something fun to do with a sunny day off 🤷🏾‍♀️

@Mococo1 ahh bet the Doppler is fun to have a play with, some people swear by them, you can hear a HB from 10 weeks can't you? So not long to wait until you'll be able to hear it. Now I'm tempted to buy one 🙈 x

@Sausage1990 ooh I've never heard of a pregnancy journal, might have a nosey, although I'm really uncreative and unobservant so mine would probably end up rubbish 🙈
