I keep heaving as well @Sausage1990 usually means i need to eat. Been feeling good past few days and haven't taken my pregcare tablets so they are still to blame as well. Also tiredness has reduced, gone to bed at like 11pm lately not like 8:30 a week back. Do get up once a night to wee which is annoying, and here to stay 😑 I can eat anything still, more drawn towards savoury, fruits and veg

@Mococo1 Urgh I'm not I just had a minor breakdown this morning as I've had another email from the school arranging changing times for pick up and drop off and when to wear PE kit and bloody forest school days are different and I've just thrown my laptop across the room shouting FUCK IT because I'm too busy and can't keep on top of it all and I've got a conference at 9.30 which I'm not prepared for at all.
Whyyyyy can't I drink and whyyyy is my caffeine intake so limited.

@Mococo1 it's a bit sharp but not very often.
@zippityzip I hear you, I'm a teacher and the daily changes are really stressing me out too, sick of hearing them!

@Busybee143 I bought the head and deputy bottles of gin at the end of the year with a card that says "I don't know how you do this!"
Big respect - I was a police officer for a lifetime and honestly I would rather go back to that than teach.

@zippityzip I can't imagine how hard that job would have been

@Busybee143 The point came for me - when something beyond words happened.

Like - imagine the worst thing you can imagine happening within your family, then double it, add some more horror and multiply that again. I dealt with it face to face in all his horrifying detail.

I came home, had dinner, casually mentioned it to DH like it was the most normal thing in the world and he nearly vomited on the spot.

I was fucking dead inside. I literally didn't know how to respond to human emotion or know if I was even able to cry any more.

I was so afraid of how unbothered I was - because of ten years of literal daily trauma it just seemed so "normal" that I decided I wasn't going to put myself through that anymore. Plus, the kids missed so much when I was working over Xmas, or not home to tuck them in even though I told them I would be there.

Looking back - leaving was the best think I've ever done.

@zippityzip that does sound very traumatising 😕I'm glad you made the decision for yourself to switch to something you are more comfortable with 🥰 don't worry about breakdowns it's easy to become overwhelmed tbh you sound like you do a lot + you are doing a fantastic job at it so give yourself some credit for the human moments

Yep caffeine sounds great right about now! I'm obsessed with Coke Zero atm but need to watch the caffeine count..diabetes here I come 😩😩😩

@Mococo1 @Mrsi2020 Yeah I'm all good thanks, I think the relief of not getting injured and working DURING THE DAY was so therapeutic for me I kind of bypassed all the therapy I should have had 😂

Nothing can ever shock me and I've still got a sick sense of humour but I wouldn't ever go back and change it I learned so much and helped too many people to regret any of it.

Ladies I've got my dating scan appointment!!! Monday 28th September 😊 as they've got me a week early I'll be 11 weeks by then but I'm not changing the appointment lol ... It actually works out really well because I have a meeting with my boss & my team lead on Wednesday the 30th so hopefully I'll be able to share the enws with them 😊

Omg I'm excited & terrified. But also pleased it's only like 3 weeks away so I don't need to book another scan lol

@Sausage1990 yay! How exciting. A lot of nausea today ended up telling my manager and he was fine with it so I could get the afternoon offI- barely slept last night and had to wake up for snacks lol - I feel like I'm gna call and chase my scan on Friday 😩 we've decided to tell our parents separately now as his sister isn't available on sat so I'm going to make them a little surprise box! X

@Busybee143 The good times there do make the time worthwhile - but it's not a career I would recommend to anyone anymore. Especially not after I got stabbed in 2013 but that's a whole new thread 😂😂

not at all real I think 😂😂😂 My manager was really nice like make sure you get plenty of rest etc and to let him know whenever I feel a bit off because we're all still wfh as long as most of my important tasks are done he's not too bothered if I take an extra half hour for lunch if I need a kip (his wife had a baby last year, he knows about my MCs and so I'm really lucky he's really sympathetic towards pregnant women )

It will feel real on the weekend maybe when we tell our parents as I know my mum/mil will be ringing everyday/constantly talking about how little bean is (it was my parents 40th wedding anniversary yesterday so I'm going to disguise a box as an anniversary present) - I'm excited to tell my brother as well 😬👍🏽

Guys I still keep getting sharp pains today. Its on both sides of my uterus it's not constant but I can feel it sometimes when I breathe in and particularly when I lift up or hold my little one or walk around with my bag on. Is this normal? I sort of feel like I'm straining or pulling something

@SmileyT mines on 3rd oct actually will be 17 weeks but booked it before 12 week one so wasn't sure on exact dates! Can't wait! Yeah it's fun guessing!! X

@Mococo1 aww glad you're telling them! Enjoy all the fuss they will make of you ❤️ I deffo think your baby is a boy! You'll be fine when baby arrives this stage is more physically exhausting plus you can nap in the day when they do unlike having to work right now x

@Mustbemad82 ive just ordered nachos and pizza for tea 🤣 my baby also seems to like tuna paninis from costa haha I've also eaten some Percy pigs and half a box of chocolate fingers this afternoon! Oops!! X

@blodyn91 you'll be a brilliant mummy and to your little bean you will be the most amazing perfect thing in the whole universe so just remember that. You are the centre of their whole world x

Hello ladies sorry I haven't been on much today. Im absolutely exhausted 😴

Window to the womb called and told me if I book another scan for around 6 or 7 weeks pg they will do it for £39 instead of £69 because last one was too early so I'm going to check my dates etc and book. Epu not seeing me now because my dates
match now.

Booking appointment is 8th October with the midwife (they see u at 8 weeks here) so all becoming really now (even though the sickness reminds me every day 🤣🤣)

@Catherinettc we must be around the same dates, my EDD is 22nd May! When did your sickness start? That’s brill they offered that scan. I’m having one in Window to the womb on 2nd October xxx

I also lied, tiredness and nousea has hit me again today. Also emotional ly drained after the funeral, was such a nice service in their garden to allow over 30 to come. Just sad.

@Mrsi2020 going by my own dates im around 21st May lol. Only suppoed to be 4 weeks on Friday but already showing 4 -5 on cb digital so think maybe just a few days ahead so sedo that week in may. Will know more after my scan xx

@Catherinettc that’s a good sign! I did cbd on Monday and it said 1-2 , when my dates are 3w1d so think that’s spot on xxx
