@samilicious I only really do classes because I get bored training alone in normal gyms but have an instagram search of un1t_london and corecollective they are the gyms I use the most and you'll get a Flava of what I get up to ✌🏾 well done on your run, that is one thing I never got the hang of, apart from when playing netball but not sure that counts 😂

@LittleRa free photos and partners allowed I'm loving the sound of your hospital, do you know if your hospital tells people gender at the 20wk scan? So fun that bubba was all wriggly aswell but good they were able to get measurements. Is your 16week appt f2f aswell? You'll have to let us know how it goes telling DD 🥰

@Cocoblue22 good luck for your scan tomorrow, so exciting we are all hitting that 12week mark ❤️

@Sausage1990 I'm finding out the gender ASAP but I think there are still people out there that keep it a secret; it's your pregnancy and your baby so just do whatever feels right for the both of you xx

zippityzip · 01/09/2020 18:40

@Sausage1990 I didn't find out with my first two and won't for this one.
There's something absolutely priceless about finding out at the end of delivery. It's like your prize for getting through it.
Plus keeps all the idiots out of your face offering stupid name suggestions when you know the sex.

Busybee143 · 01/09/2020 18:49

@Cocoblue22 it's not just me that's struggling then, I've had a banana, some cucumber and tomatoe today so I'm not doing too bad I suppose.
I'm so jealous (and happy!!) you guys are all coming to 12 weeks, I wish I had that reassurance. I had my first day at work today and when I got out of my car someone congratulated me, I was in utter shock until I realised they meant on my previous pregnancy just as we went into lock down that I miscarried. Obviously I had to explain that I had miscarried, I just wanted to run away and not come back, I could feel people looking at my stomach all day. I've no idea how she knew as I was only 7 weeks and I had only told my manager because of the covid risks. I was going to inform my boss today that I'm pregnant again but it's really put me off now, I've just felt like crying all day.
A congratulations on my miscarried baby when I'm newly pregnant was not what I needed first day back

Busybee143 · 01/09/2020 18:50

@Sausage1990 I'd love to wait but wifey won't have it

Sausage1990 · 01/09/2020 18:54

@zippityzip this is what I'm thinking too, it's like a bonus after all the hard work. Although I'm sure there will be plenty of silly names suggested regardless... Although we've always said when we have to choose names we're going to roll with it and tell people our favourite names are really ridiculous ones to see their reactions if they ask 😂

@SmileyT I can totally understand wanting to find out tho too. It's sooo tempting. I said the only time I would find out the gender is if we found out we were having twins so I could prepare better mentally... But even then I don't know anymore.

Oh I found out that DH will be allowed to attend my scans 🥳 so in really pleased about that. Obviously don't have a 12 week scan date yet but it's still good news. Xx

Sausage1990 · 01/09/2020 18:59

Gosh @busybee143 that's a bit off isn't it. Why would you congratulate someone when they haven't made any announcement?! I can understand maybe speculation in the office but I can't understand why someone would come right out and say anything... Also if she had found out you were 7weeks and 6 months later you don't have a very obvious nearly 8 month pregnant belly you just keep your mouth shut. Gosh how insensitive. I'm sorry you had to deal with that today when anxiety was already so high, I understand you being reluctant to tell you boss again... Because how did this colleagues even know unless someone told her? Xx

Mococo1 · 01/09/2020 19:23

@Busybee143 so sorry this happened that sounds the worse 🙁 I can only imagine it's defo put you off telling anyone

@SmileyT @Sausage1990 @Busybee143 @zippityzip I'm thinking me and hubby will find out - and not tell anyone else but our immediate family (mums & dads etc ) everyone else it can be a surprise for! Or I might ask them if they want to know (as I guess a nice surprise for them) but I'm too impatient lol I think we'll even go at 16w to find out what we're having before the 20w scan x

Sausage1990 · 01/09/2020 19:50

@Mococo1 I usually am impatient but i dont feel it about this which is so weird. DH wanted a surprise too but he's started saying like "if we do find out" which makes me think he will change his mind haha.

I am fully getting ahead of myself. I've tried to keep it in check and remind myself that its too early to know for sure yet... but here i am at 7+2 thinking about if I'll find out the gender & when do i need to start thinking about buying a new (bigger) bra!!! I need to keep myself in check.... 4 days left until the scan and it cannot come quick enough!!!

Sausage1990 · 01/09/2020 19:52

@Mococo1 I love the idea of keeping the gender between you both tho... that would be quite nice as a secret lol But i also dont know how I'd keep it a secret from people once i knew.. i think id be referring to it as he/she so it would be a give away haha

Ltay2 · 01/09/2020 19:57

@Sausage1990 I will definitely be finding out the sex, however I completely understand how nice it would be for a surprise! If I wasn't so impatient I would definitely wait and be surprised! Maybe I will for second baby if we ever get there!

Here is the random plate of food I am eating for tonight. Hopefully somewhat balanced 😂 just a bit of everything I fancied really even though I feel sick 🤷🏼‍♀️

SmileyT · 01/09/2020 20:12

@Ltay2 OMG is that a Chicago town pizza? haven't had one of those in ages and they are amazing 🙌🏾

@Sausage1990 if I wasn't so set on having a boy first then I think I could deal with a surprise but I need to acclimatise myself to having a girl, based on my last scan I'm pretty sure it will be 😂 we are pretty set on our boys name (although afraid to say it or write it down) but a lot of work to do with girls names. And enjoy getting ahead of yourself it's the fun of being pregnant, enjoy it 👌🏾

OP posts:
Sausage1990 · 01/09/2020 20:24

@SmileyT yeah that's another part isn't it, it's getting your head straight with hopes for either gender but getting the other. That's why I'd find out if we were having twins because I'd love to have one if each but if we had twins we probably wouldn't have any more kids, so I'd need to mentally prepare if a were having the same genders. I don't think it's twins tho because at the 5 weeks scan she said 'sac' like singular.

Your food plate looks nice and fresh with the carrots & grapes @Ltay2... I had toast with butter and drizzle of honey, it was really lush and hit the spot! X

Ltay2 · 01/09/2020 20:27

@SmileyT Yes 😂 I rediscovered them last week and obsessed again!

@Sausage1990 I had toast with butter and honey for breakfast this morning, one of my favourites!

Busybee143 · 01/09/2020 20:50

@Mococo1 @Sausage1990 it's definitely put me off telling anyone even if I could be a little safer from it, the mental strain outweighs it I think as selfish as that sounds. I'm really paranoid that people are going to be talking about it now. I've no idea how she found out, someone has to have told her!

blodyn91 · 01/09/2020 21:49

@Busybee143 your manager is out of order for telling the person! And the person very insensitive! Unless she wasn't told how early you were and then its all the managers fault 😤 Id be pissed! Demand a pay rise 😄

Similar to Smiley I know OH want a boy, so I don't want him to be disappointed after Ive given birth- even though I doubt he would be. So we are going to find out 😊 buuut also thinking of keeping it a secret

@samilicious yes to the run!! 15 mins is great! I My runs vary from 15-40 mins. Sometimes a 15 min run with the dog is all I need to feel better.

@LittleRa 🥰🥰🥰 can not wait for my scan now (even though I have no date yet even)

@Sausage1990 its hard not to get ahead of ourselves, I think its perfectly OK to be excited and look forward.

On a completely different note, we have found another house! Getting sold by auction so going to view it on Sunday 🤞I am determined to have my own little farm for the baby to grow up on 😆

blodyn91 · 01/09/2020 22:15

also on the food front, today has been one of those constantly hungry days.
Had porridge with strawberries, blueberries and a scoop of protein powder for brekkie, banana as a snack, ham, cucumber and philli sandwich for lunch with an apple and chocolate protein bar, got home still hungry so had a smoked salmon and philli sandwich, still hungry so had a bowl of coco pops before meeting friends for a dog walk, got home had a jacket potatoe with cheese, beans and pork chops and made a home made apple crumble that I had with some custard. Finally FULL 🙈🙈

Sausage1990 · 01/09/2020 22:21

@blodyn91 haha your food day sounds epic!!! I'm actually so jealous of you eating so well. Tis the season for apple & blackberry crumbles and I can't stomach any of it. I'm guna pick blackberries and freeze them ready for when I can eat them ahah. Great news about the house 🤞🏻 this is the one for you!!!

samilicious · 01/09/2020 23:23

@blodyn91 felt so so much better - wouldn't have done it with the fitspo so thank you 💪🏻 and @SmileyT
Amazing news about the new house, hope it's the one. Farm family life sounds ideal. I don't think I could keep my cool at an auction, especially something as big as a house!

@Sausage1990 are there still blackberries near you? All the ones by us came into season early and they're all gone now :(

@Busybee143 that's absolutely awful. Good on you for persevering and getting through the day after that start

Sausage1990 · 01/09/2020 23:36

@samilicious well I don't know if there are any but I'm going to keep my eyes open for some. I live my the taff trail so I might see if I feel up to a walk tomorrow & I'll take some tupperware just in case... But I'd not my mam does have some in her freezer so I may see if she'll give me some 😁 ohhh I love a blackberry & apple crumble with custard - bring on the 2nd trimester so I cna enjoy that bad boy.... Oh maybe I'll get DH to make us a steak with mushroom sauce & chips and finish it off with crumble 😍 God I miss food.

Honestly girls i feel obsessed with food atm hahaha. Like I have no actual appetite and most food makes me feel 🤢 and have constant background nausea but I am also hungry and my tummy grumbles on an off all day. I just come to make something and eat it and I can't. It's the strangest thing... I might buy some avocado tomorrow to see if I can manage that on a rice cake or something. 🤞🏻🥑

Busybee143 · 02/09/2020 01:26

@blodyn91 I do deserve a pay rise you're right!!!! It sounds like you ate like a king today, well done you!! I love a good hungry day 😁
@samilicious well done on the run! I haven't been in ages now. If I'm honest I'm dreading going again in the morning but I know I'll be OK 😁

zippityzip · 02/09/2020 06:09

@Mococo1 I pondered with the fact of me and DH knowing but not telling one, and fact is it would be impossible. I would slip up and refer to it as he or she. And my DH can't keep secrets to save his life.

@Busybee143 I'm really sorry you had to deal with that. It's fucking insensitive. Also makes you wonder who you can trust. Which is crappy at work.

@Ltay2 That looks like the dinner of gods!!!!!!

SmileyT · 02/09/2020 06:36

@Busybee143 you need to go to sleep earlier, you must be exhausted 😩 also i totally understand not wanting to tell people at work when you feel your confidence has been broken 😕

@Sausage1990 I feel you, the first 5weeks after BFP I couldn't enjoy any food at all, definitely lost a bit of weight as I just wasn't eating full meals but I really do think once the placenta takes over it was the beginning of the end for the constant low-key hangover state... ooh the twins can be sharing the sac though ☺️ exciting to find out this week for sure though. It still blows my mind that having identical twins isn't genetic when it definitely seems to run in families 🤯

@blodyn91 that food day sounds fab, OH made us an apple cobbler on Monday night and I had some of that last night with custard 🤤 yay to the new dream house, when is the auction? Will you be able to get a builder round beforehand? x

Even though my Fitbit tells me I had 7hrs sleep I feel like I was up all night and I woke up 2hrs before my alarm 🤷🏾‍♀️, roll on 5pm 😴

Busybee143 · 02/09/2020 07:02

@zippityzip thanks, hope all is well with you.
@SmileyT I'm trying haha, I'm not feeling too rough, I must have been up every hour between stomach ache and a 14mo 😕

Sausage1990 · 02/09/2020 08:58

@SmileyT well its good to know it passes and there is light at the end if the tunnel - I got my BFP 3 weeks ago so hopefully in another 3 weeks I'll be starting to feel better 🤞🏻 oh god I kinda put twins out of my head after the last scan but you're right it could be a 2 in 1 situation (thats what I was!) 😬 we'll soon know for sure.

Hope you're all doing okay today and have good days in work or whatever it is your doing 💕

Dipsy77 · 02/09/2020 09:26

I have my scan date it's the 15th September at 2.30pm. It's at a different hospital because it's twins but only 10 mins away. The date I didn't really want as it's my dds first birthday but I'm not rearranging as it's taken me ages to sort this one out. It took another half hour on the phone to admin this morning before it got sorted. I'll be 14 week so hopefully nice clear pictures xx
