Morning everyone! How're we all doing?
@SmileyT Yes, I can imagine the 12 week scan feels so special - it's such a milestone! I think after mine I might actually allow myself to believe it's going to happen... eeeeek! Has it sunk in for anyone else yet that there should be an actual real life baby at the end of this, that we will love and look after for the rest of our lives?! It's huge! It certainly hasn't sunk in for me 😂 Does it ever sink in, even when they're born? 😂
@Pugprincess It is terrifying how much it will spread amongst schools - I read a thing yesterday saying that there are already 1,000 pupils in Greater Manchester, from 15 schools, having to isolate. They've only been back two mins! I guess the good thing is that a lot of those isolating won't actually have come in to very close direct contact with the person that does have it and also that kids aren't affected badly - just hope they have such weak strains that if they pass it on to adults, it doesn't affect them too badly. I have so much respect for teachers, it must be such a hard time.
@Workingmama1 Seems horrible to say but glad you felt rotten! Your cravings sound delicious! My scan is 11am, so not too long to wait in the morning.
@DanceM1 Ahh must have been lovely to see and hear baby again. Interesting to know about the placenta, too - and will help you to not worry if you don't start feeling movement for a bit.
@RosieJess91 Dying to know what that trick is your mum does, it sounds really good!
@Poppy10121 Sorry to hear you had a rubbish night and horrible dreams! Did you call in sick today? Can you maybe fit in a nap if not?
My morning has flown by in a flurry of Zoom calls, am absolutely shattered now though and also feeling a bit sickly today, am nibbling on crackers with butter and they seem to be helping. My back is so sore from working at the dining table, too - might have to go get a chair from the office one of these days and see if that helps!
