Pregnant After MMC - Thread 2

New thread for those of us pregnant after MMC.

Lots of upcoming scans to be arranged. Here's our current list:

This is first thing this morning! Without eating anything. Hope this is a little bump appearing 🤣 or could just be fat from all the sweets I keep eating 🙈

@Workingmama1 Exciting that you have a date for your booking appt now - another step forward! Gosh yeah, it's almost flu jab time, isn't it?! Must remember to get it - got a funny feeling my doctor won't remind me (but that's because I can't even imagine they know I'm pregnant - my faith in messages getting between places is very low). I'd highly recommend a private scan at around 10 weeks - I don't think I could have lasted until my NHS scan without one and at 10 weeks you know the odds are in your favour if everything is ok.

@bubblybon20 Definitely looks like the start of a bump, it's a lovely shape! So exciting that people are beginning to show!!

@ew1990 wish these 6 days would hurry up for us 🙈😫

@bubblybon20 I know! Yours is nice and early. I have to drop DD at my mum's first so the morning should go fast for me

I feel like I have spent this whole year pregnant with nothing to show for it.
I will have to inform my GP so he can get me an early scan at the EPU as they want me to start progesterone from 6 weeks this time.

@Wishful30. With my successful pregnancy I bled from 5 - 9 weeks on and off - a couple of times I was convinced I had MC as I bled so heavily but my DD held on. I have everything crossed for you.

Hi ladies. Quick update. GP booked me to see her this afternoon but recommend a&e would be quicker as she'd had to do referral to EPU.
Concerns re ectopic 🤦🏻‍♀️
So I just checked in. Still cramping on/off
Dunno if my brain is making me think it's worse than it is.
Dying for a pee but trying to hang in to it 😂

Ahh @Wishful30 sorry you've had to go and sit in A&E but hopefully it will get things sorted a bit quicker for you. Whatever the outcome, at least you will have some answers and we are all here for you too 💕

Hi all! So much to catch up on again! I'm so useless I don't check in enough and then so much has happened I can't reply to everyone! Welcome to new people and fingers crossed for @wishful I hope whatever the outcome it is sorted out soon. I found the waiting and uncertainty the worst thing. My bump is very obvious - I'm in full maternity gear already 😩! But then I was with MMC and daughter too. I show early I think.
Waiting for my 12 week scan now. Feel like I should be scared but I feel ok. Last time I was here almost exactly 4 months ago I was told I had lost the baby. 🤞🤞

Well I feel like this was all a very dramatic waste of time.
Urine test negative. Just awaiting blood results.
If they come back negative I'm being discharged. If pain and spotting continue I'm to see my gp for a referral to investigate. (So 2 weeks is not long enough to be of concern?)
I mean.... I'm literally in the hospital right now wtf? 🤨

@Wishful30How frustrating that you just have to wait to be referred, it makes no sense really. Just think that at least you’re on the way to getting answers now, I hope you get them soon (and that the bleeding and pain stops!) Hope you’re doing ok xxx

@Wishful30 how frustrating. What further investigations would they want to do?

I just had some random yellowish EWCM. Freaked me out a little but calmed myself down, no idea if it's normal or not!

Soooo....urine negative. Bloods came back positive, low but positive 🤷🏻‍♀️
Dr told me I was strange 😂

Now upstairs on a gynae ward. Had a million questions and a load of swabs. Cervix is closed 👀 🤦🏻‍♀️
(so I guess I'm Not ovulating then 🤪)

I'm currently a mystery with no one around to scan me 🙄

I'm betting it's an incomplete miscarriage or I've got a sac & no baby again.
I guess could still be ectopic but 2 drs really dong think so.

Always good to be different lol

Finally... nothing in there other than a cyst on my ovary. Cervix is closed which I think is odd. She didn't. All the nurses and Drs were lovely but the consultant that scanned me wasn't! Clearly didn't want to.

At least I now I don't need any kinda surgery I guess.
Stupid clear blue monitor lies so bad 🙄😂

Ride it out and come back for bloods on Friday.

@SkyBlue20 hiya. I’m 6+5 on Friday and scans 8.20am that morning 😬 only like 39 hours to goooo eeeeek.

@Wishful30 I’m sorry the scan didn’t show anything positive 😩 did the cyst cause the spotting? And why was there hcg X

@Wishful30 What a complete rollercoaster that was. Yikes. How baffling! How can bloods come back positive, but a scan show nothing?! I hope you get some proper answers at some point.

In the meantime, I've had little to no sleep because my DS was up and down all night with a funny tummy, crying, bless him. And he woke up with the worst cold 🤦🏼‍♀️

@wishful30 at least you have some answers (even if it has thrown up more questions 🙄) Sorry you are going through this 😔

@workingmama1 I have bright yellow EWCM all the time - it's normal I think as I had it with DD too 😊

Scan was all good! 12 +3 today. The photo is dreadful though! She had the option to print so many decent ones and she printed a shocker - just looks like a smudge!
