@Sakura54 yeah I agree! I've had it a lot, "bet you want a girl if you have another" or "it would be nice if you had a girl"
But I really don't see it as that at all!

ew1990 · 25/08/2020 18:14

@sakura yeah I was really bloated then that went away. I think I posted the other day that my belly was totally flat and then a few days later that just above my groin looked like a bump then this came.

@bubblybon20 I was like that with DD. Just looked like I had a football up my top. 😂 Didn't look pregnant from behind

Wishful30 · 25/08/2020 18:54

@Sakura54 Thankyou

So, I decided to get a cheapo pregnancy test as since speaking to you guys I've had a bit of red blood 🤷🏻‍♀️ WTF is going on.
Figuring it should be negative or if there's a teeny pink line maybe it's an incomplete mc?
Read test after 5 mins it says... well, this is under a minute 🤦🏻‍♀️ it wasn't even that strong when I first found out!
Guess who's calling the GP tomorrow 👀
🙄

Hey! I’d like to join your thread if that’s okay reading all your stories and symptoms have really helped put my mind at ease. I had a missed miscarriage in April which resulted in a d&c, as most of you are sadly aware it’s horrendous. And to add lockdown on top I wasn’t in any shape or form okay... fast forward to August I’m pregnant again, I’m 7 weeks tomorrow. I seem to go through waves im okay, then all of a sudden if my mind ever dares to wander to a slight positive thought of my going full term I suddenly shut this idea down and feel like I’m getting far too excited. I have an early scan booked a week tomorrow for 8 weeks I’m praying I see a heartbeat and I can calm down a bit, it’s lovely to hear all your positive experiences after miscarriages xx

RosieJess91 · 25/08/2020 19:24

@Wishful30 if I remember correctly, none of your original tests were ever that dark, were they?! Are you sure you definitely had a CP and you haven't just had an implantation bleed? If definitely get onto your GP, that's very odd!

A few people were around, I just stood up and said sorry, morning sickness and some woman went "oh, you poor thing" had to tip a bottle of water over it to clear it. Not fun!

Wishful30 · 25/08/2020 19:28

@RosieJess91 correct! They really weren't thar great. And to have MC so early on my HCG should be long gone by now, not higher 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyway... Thankyou very much ladies for listening to me and being as baffled as I am😂

I'll let you know the outcome when I find out more. So odd... always me, never strait forward 🙄

Wishing you all the very best with your little jelly beans 🤗

RosieJess91 · 25/08/2020 19:34

@Wishful30 when I had my CP I kept getting positives on the tests a few weeks later, but they were always super faint and as I found out afterwards, there was a batch of fault tests going around, but it never got stronger.
Going by the pregnancy you had before, how far along would you be by now?

SkyBlue20 · 25/08/2020 19:35

@ew1990 Could definitely just be showing early! I can’t wait to have a proper bump rather than this bit of bloating I have, I just feel a bit flabby and like I’ve put a bit of weight on at the mo!

@Sakura54 I’ve been pressing down too and it does help. Just had a really sharp one in the middle when getting off the loo! I read it could be round ligament pain, which is early, but it can and does kick in from 11 weeks and it sounds exactly like what I described. Apparently it is most common on the right too, but not always.

@Wishful30 Really sorry I can’t help but ringing the GP sounds like a good idea - maybe they can do bloods or something. Like Rosie said, is there any chance it may not have been a chemical after all? Got my fingers crossed for you!

@Lu93 Welcome! So sorry for your loss 💕 know exactly what you mean about shooting down any excitement - I’ve had two good scans, am 11+1 at the moment and am still doing it. I don’t think I’ll ever really relax but after the 12 week scan it should be easier. Hope the next week flies by for you and you can get that scan for some reassurance, the waiting is so tough xx

@RosieJess91 Ahh bless you - people understand though, sure many of the women have been there themselves!

I’m so windy tonight 🙈 We’ve just ordered Domino’s, which isn’t going to help either (I have a dairy intolerance so doesn’t help at the best of times) 😂 So naughty for a Tuesday night but oh well, it’ll be delicious!

Wishful30 · 25/08/2020 19:35

@RosieJess91 I would in theory be 6weeks today..

Wishful30 · 25/08/2020 19:42

@SkyBlue20 I mean, I guess there's always a chance. But I had a proper af... the whole shebang so no way could anything have survived in there 😐 sorry tmi!

Even ectopics apparently you only have a bit of red bleeding and pain unless you actually MC...
of course I now have some one sided cramping 😂 I'm sure my brain plays tricks on me. My body sure as hell is messing with my head.
Last pregnancy everything was dandy apart from the spotting. Even my bloods were great at 6 weeks. Sac was the right size, everything was amazing, apart from missing a baby 🤦🏻‍♀️
I think I want it so bad my body pretends it's pregnant for as long as it can. Im definitely not normal. 🙄😬

RosieJess91 · 25/08/2020 19:47

@Wishful30 My neighbour had full on AFs for 4 months and she still went on to have her daughter. Some people just bleed throughout, no real reason why. Just get onto your doctor and keep us updated, all our fingers and toes are crossed for you!!

Wishful30 · 25/08/2020 19:54

@RosieJess91 Thankyou 😊

bubblybon20 · 25/08/2020 19:59

When is everyone stopping the folic acid. I am taking pregnacare so unsure when to stop 🤣

Pugprincess · 25/08/2020 20:04

@Wishful30 when I first read your message it crossed my mind if you could still be pregnant. I’ve read a lot ladies having quite heavy bleeding and clots and baby can still be there. You need a scan ASAP I think. Gp might book you in to an epu or maybe you could get a private one if not? The browns old blood and probably clearing out from your bleed... good luck, let us know the outcome.

Caffeine wise I’ve more or less cut it all out apart from one bit of chocolate a day. That’s just my super paranoia though.

Gender wise I’m happy either way as if I get to the end it would be my first child 🙂

Feeling more symptom wise, feel sick if I get hungry, heartburn and the wind has been awful. I had a nap after work and woke up doubled over, had to eat to push it through then couldn’t stop burping and trumping 😅 I’m sure I’m worse in the evenings symptom wise. My tummy’s really bloated too especially by evening.

I have my first scan this Friday morning, got up take myself there and back and obviously be on my own for it too. Plan to go to work after but if it’s bad news I will drive to my mums x

@bubblybon20 I think you can stop after the 12 week point? The little pot I have only holds 3 months worth, assume it means you're only meant to take it that long. I could be wrong? I think vitamin D they prefer you to take the whole way through, but again, I'm not 100%.

ew1990 · 25/08/2020 21:21

@bubblybon20 yeah folic acid till 12 weeks. Then vitamin d right the way through and then carry it on if you breastfeed

ew1990 · 25/08/2020 21:21

@pugprincess aww cute. I love seeing bumps 😍😍

Quail15 · 25/08/2020 21:39

Hi ladies, I'm tentatively saying hello again.
I have had 3 MC so far this year ( chemical in Jan, natural MC at 7 weeks in march and lost twins at 10 weeks needed d&c in June).

I was due AF last week whilst on holiday but it didn't arrive ( other than some minor spotting which must have been implantation bleeding). I got home this evening and took a test which shows a very strong positive - it puts me around 5+3.

I can't get excited yet after everything that has happened and annoyingly I have an appointment next week to start the process of Ivf again (my only successful pregnancy was ivf 3 years ago) which I will have to cancel - it had been delayed due to covid.

It is so lovely to see so many positive tests after MC on this thread X x

SkyBlue20 · 26/08/2020 07:54

Morning all!

@Wishful30 Definitely let us know how you get on with the GP. Fingers crossed for you that you get an answer either way 🤞🏼

@bubblybon20 Completely forgot that we’re meant to stop taking the folic acid! What will everyone move on to, just vitamin D? I’m tempted to go full on multi vitamin if I can find one without vitamin A.

@Pugprincess Good luck for your scan on Friday! How many weeks will you be? (Sorry, I completely lose track!)

Welcome, @Quail15! I’m so sorry for your losses. What a horrible year you have had, I hope this is the one that sticks, your little rainbow baby 💕

Five months today since we found out about the MMC, I cannot believe how quickly that has gone by. I remember at the time thinking that I would never recover from it, that there wouldn’t be a day where I wouldn’t cry or just want to hide under the covers. I look back and the pain is so much less raw now, it really shows that time helps even if it never does go away fully. Just hoping for good news at the 12 week scan, the thought of going through all of that again terrifies me.

Workingmama1 · 26/08/2020 08:30

Morning! Wow a lot to catch up on!

@Wishful30 good luck with the dr today, they should definitely be referring you to the epu to try and figure out what is happening.

@Quail15 @lu93 welcome!

@SkyBlue20 I also get random twinges if I move in a certain way, I think i remember it with my daughter, its just stretching I think.

@ew1990 that is a definite bump! If it was flat before I'd say its bump over bloat, is it hard? I wake up with a flatish stomach and go to bed 5 months pregnant 🤣

My booking in appointment is next Friday, I rang to register and the eou had already done it for me so I was all booked in already. I also randomly got a text from my doctors saying I'm eligible for a free flue jab, I guess they registered me as pregnant when I rang about could it be ectopic.... no other reason I would qualify apart from pregnancy.

@RosieJess91 thats hard throwing up in a car park, sounds like people were understanding though, it's not lile you can help it! Are the meds working at all?

I'm toying with booking a private scan but not sure... it seems like the nhs ones are happening late round here so it could be another 7 weeks, dont think I would last that long!

RosieJess91 · 26/08/2020 08:42

@Workingmama1 they are helping, just not completely. I'd say I was only sick every other day now and only once or twice a day rather than all day long. So it's much, much better!

DanceM1 · 26/08/2020 09:04

Morning everyone,

Welcome to @Quail15 and @lu93

@Wishful30 bless you, this must be like torture not knowing what's going on. I hope you get to speak to the doctor today and get referred to EPU and get some answers.

@SkyBlue20 I also can't believe how far we have come. I didnt think I would ever feel normal or really happy again. Lets just hope we all get our rainbow babies next year. Im thinking positive thoughts for us all 💕

I also get those little pains/twinges. They really came on the day before my scan. I think they are growing pains too. I sometimes get them when I'm not even moving as well.

@RosieJess91 at least you will have some stories to tell baby what you went through for them when they grow up 😂 i hope you're ok though, it can't be easy!!

@ew1990 wow I can't get over that bump 😍 it definitely can't be just bloat?! I have a tiny little bump now but I don't think other people would notice it. My husband can and I can tell its a different shape and feels hard but hoping it will grow in a few weeks!

@Workingmama1 im glad you have your booking in appointment and its good that the epu referred you. Must be nice to know things are moving along. I would be booking a private scan if I were you but I'm very impatient and need to know whats going on 😂

ew1990 · 26/08/2020 09:21

I know! A tiny bit smaller than yesterday but not much. I was so poorly yesterdAy. Was fine all day. Ate my tea and then couldn't stop being sick. Still feeling iffy now.

Hope everyone else is doing Ok? 6 days till my scan! I feel so so nervous

bubblybon20 · 26/08/2020 09:29

@SkyBlue20 it's actually emotional how far we've all come, and how strong it's made us all.. even though at times we don't feel it! hopefully at the end well all have our little 🌈's!
