@bubblybon20 I’m not showing but my waist is defs thicker than it used to be! First pregnancy for me though so takes longer apparently and am only 11 weeks.

@Dipsy77 Amazing that you just had a sixth sense about it being twins! And what are the odds of them doing two surprise twin scans in a row?!

@Workingmama1 Congratulations!! 💕 Guessing your husband wasn’t allowed in? That’s so frustrating 😔 Another milestone ticked though! ✔️

So I think I have the very start of the linea nigra! I have a very, very faint line just on my pubic area and husband confirmed he can see it, too. Heard it can kick in from around the second trimester and I’m now 11 weeks so would make sense. I’m kind of happy with it as hopefully means everything is progressing as it should. Nausea been bad today when hungry (always) so that’s reassuring, too. Two weeks and a day until my ‘twelve’ week scan. I wish we could just fast forward to then!

Thanks all! Feel like a massive weight has been lifted, not sure how long that will last for but going to try to enjoy it!

@skyblue20 my husband couldn't come in, they said they've relaxed it for antenatal scans but not yet at the epu. Interesting your linea nigra is coming already!

I plucked up the courage to ring to register with the midwives, took ages to get through then told to ring back tomorrow afternoon so they could book me in! Bit of an anticlimax 🤣

@Workingmama1 Definitely enjoy that weight being lifted - it’s another huge step towards everything being ok 💕 Annoying about the midwife but again, just you calling is another milestone hit 😁 I could be wrong about the linea nigra but there’s definitely a very faint line there, still quite low down though. Will see how it progresses!

This is also really weird but my belly button has gone really dark! Read it's the increased melanin, too. I'm olive skinned and tan quite easily which apparently can bring it on more 🤷🏻‍♀️ Who knows what else to expect during this weird and wonderful time that is pregnancy!

Ladies thank you so much for your good luck wishes...they worked. Baby is measuring a few days ahead according to the last 2 scans so growing well 🤣 they've put me at 12+4 today. Due date is 4th March so I'll update the list soon. Im so bloody relieved. I've never been this pregnant before 🎉🎉

Can't wait for more and more of us to pass the 12 week mark 🥰

Forgot to say... they are reviewing whether men can go to scans in my area on Wednesday so if ours was a couple of days later, my husband probably could have come 🤦‍♀️ never mind!! He may be able to come to the 20 week one and I'm sure ill end up having another private scan soon!

Is anybody else not planning to find out the sex or is that just me?!

@DanceM1 ahh what an amazing picture and great your past that big milestone 🥰 I've already provisionally booked in the date we'll be getting the gender scan at 16weeks (4th October) - I need time to get used to it if it's a girl, obviously happy with any healthy baby but I'm so desperate for a boy, no idea what to do with girls 😂

Re: finding out the sex, I want to as I’m a massive planner and hate not knowing things but DH isn’t sure so I’m leaving it to him to decide - if he doesn’t want to, I’m happy not to. He changes his mind all the time though - he says the only reason he doesn’t want to is that it’s the traditional thing to do but accepts that there are benefits to finding out. So we’ll see. I reckon he’ll want to when it comes to it though!

Just drank a glass of chocolate milk as I decided that I don't get enough dairy (and it was a craving when I was pregnant with my daughter and helped settle the nausea!). Literally gave me the worse stomach cramps! If I'd not had a positive scan this morning I would have gone into a bit of a panic.... I do sometimes get a reaction to lots of milk (can't drink lattes even though I love them) but never one that bad.

Amazing news for all the scans today, congratulations.

As regards showing, oh my god, I feel I am huge!! Trying to hide it is getting harder and harder. I reckon I am showing about 4 weeks ahead of where I was with my son. So currently at 10 weeks I look the same as I did at 14/16 weeks With my son.

@dancem1 aww congratulations I've been checking all day for an update.

I'm finding out the sex. I wasn't going to but we did with DD CD and I think It will help prepare her for a new baby if I could say it's a brother or a sister.

All my symptoms have completely gone now. No sickness, no sore boobs or nipples. 8 days till my scan!

@ew1990 I literally have no symptoms at all either!! 🤦🏻‍♀️

@bubblybon20 @ew1990 I have much less symptoms the last few days too. I even ate a sausage today... 1st meat ive had in ages 😂

Completely understand those of you wanting to find out the sex. @SkyBlue20 I don't usually cope well with not knowing and want to be in control but for some reason this doesn't bother me 🤷‍♀️ I think we would keep things pretty neutral anyway. @ew1990 I can definitely see the benefit in preparing older siblings!

@PhotoMum4 ive been thinking for the last week or so that I must be imagining having a bump but my husband said he really noticed it earlier today. Its not like huge that anyone would know it I was wearing loose clothing but I can definitely tell!

@Workingmama1 that doesnt sound nice! Very strange how we react to things differently. I think it's hormones. I remember the first time I ever went on the pill I was suddenly Completely intolerant of gluten. Half a piece of toast had me in agony for a full day. Its weird! Hope you are feeling a bit better now and great that you've had your scan to help prevent you from worrying x

Yes, I think not knowing wouldn’t bother me as much as it would bother me not knowing anything else, strangely - I’m kind of ok with it either way - but I would lean towards finding out if I had the choice.

@Workingmama1 Ouch, that doesn’t sound nice! Wonder if it’s just because it was a lot of dairy in one go maybe. Hope you’re feeling better.

My symptoms are definitely decreasing, too - overall, I feel better, but do still have moments of bad symptoms, just nowhere near as many as before, it’s kind of nice to have a bit of respite.

I need to find out the sex so I only have to think of one name. I also need to mentally prepare myself and prepare DS. I agree with @SmileyT
boys are best but I don’t mind either way as having a healthy baby is such a blessing. I’d lean towards a boy though, a brother for DS would be good. What does everyone else prefer? Be honest lol.

@SkyBlue20 My linea nigra came early last pregnancy and didn’t get a chance to disappear so I still have a faint line under my belly button.

@bubblybon20 I’ve never wanted to get a bump and get all big, so I want to see how true it is that second baby means big bump. I was able to hide it until the third trimester last time. I don’t want to look like I just have a fat belly hence hiding it lol. I was also conscious of looking like a young mum, even though I’m far from one.
