@Dipsy77 omg!!! Massive congratulations! And how exciting, hope you're feeling a little more reassured now! And not long until your 12 week scan! 😍

Rutennotou · 23/08/2020 19:29

@SmileyT This will be my second child but fourth pregnancy. I had another MMC before I had my daughter, who is now 13. Odds are in my favour this time which is what I try and tell myself, just easier said than done. Anxious to get over that 12 week scan but think I'll be okay then.

RosieJess91 · 23/08/2020 19:34

Oh my goodness! Congratulations @Dipsy77! Two babas! Did you have any inkling it would be twins or was it a complete surprise?

ew1990 · 23/08/2020 19:37

@dipsy Omg!! Congratulations x I think I'd fall of the bed If they said twins 😂

Welcome to the new comers and congratulations x

SkyBlue20 · 23/08/2020 19:46

@Workingmama1 Hopefully the message just hasn’t trickled down yet 🤞🏼 They said they’d ring me three days before my scan to ask about covid symptoms etc so will double check with them then, though I still have two and a half weeks to go so god knows what will be going on by then 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

@DanceM1 Good luck with your scan tomorrow!! 🤞🏼

@PhotoMum4 Yep, lots of trapped wind here, too. Very uncomfortable!

@Rutennotou Welcome and so sorry for your loss 💕 The anxiety is totally to be expected - we’ve all been there/are still there, hopefully your scan will come around nice and quickly. The odds of everything being ok are in your favour xx

@RosieJess91 I don’t have a pain like that but am with you on the random aches and pains, lots of stretching going on I think. My hips are getting it a lot at the mo.

@Dipsy77 Omg, congratulations!!! Are there twins in your family or completely random?! I did read that twins are more common after miscarriage as your body can sometimes release two eggs in one go to make up for the loss (or something) and this thread seems to be proving it with two sets of twins so far! I’m a bit jealous 😂

Pugprincess · 23/08/2020 19:49

@Dipsy77 wowwwwww congratulations!!! How amazing 😁

@PhotoMum4 Yh I have wind right now in fact, can’t stop bottom burping 😅🙈

Today I suspect a bit of nausea has started, not sure cause I didn’t get any last preg but 3 times today before my main meals I’ve felt rough, windy and sick. Only eating seems to help it ease. I’m 6 weeks today by my count so that’s another milestone. My last baby stopped growing at 6+4 and I’m back to work full time from tomorrow 🙈 my scan Friday morning too. Seems like times flying this time x

PhotoMum4 · 23/08/2020 20:13

@Dipsy77 Wow congratulations, no idea what I would do if they said twins! Very exciting.

@Rutennotou Def understand the anxiety, mmc is so hard as I don’t trust my body to let me know if something is wrong. Just have to take it a day at a time.

Good luck to all who have scans coming up. Fingers crossed for you.

SmileyT · 23/08/2020 20:18

@Dipsy77 OMG this is amazing news 🥳 3 under 2 will be a handful but absolutely amazing, bet you had to pick OHs jaw off the floor. So many congratulations to you and your family 🥰🥰

@Rutennotou ahh bet your daughter will be excited when you tell her ☺️ I think all of us have realised that small milestones are the way forward. Each week is a step closer to that early scan and then not long until your dating scan. I have an early scan next Friday so understand the anxiety as you move closer to that aswell, but loads of support in this group x

DanceM1 · 23/08/2020 20:31

Ahhhh @Dipsy77 going for that scan was so worth it! How exciting!!! Amazing news 💕

DanceM1 · 23/08/2020 20:33

Thank you @skyBlue20 not sure I will sleep tonight. Just trying to cling on to chances being much better after seeing heartbeat at 10 weeks 🙏🤞

Workingmama1 · 23/08/2020 20:40

@dipsy77 wow, twins amazing news, what a blessing!

@rutennotou welcome and congratulations!

@DanceM1 good luck tomorrow, seeing a heartbeat at 10 weeks puts you in a really good position

I have my follow up scan at the epu tomorrow, I've been worrying about it for days but now feeling strangely calm. Really hoping my husband can come with me as they have changed the guidance but he will be in the car park if not.

SkyBlue20 · 23/08/2020 20:48

@DanceM1 Yes, the odds are most definitely in your favour! Will be thinking of you.

@Workingmama1 Will be thinking of you, too. Hope your husband is allowed in, all goes well and you get some definitive answers 💕

DanceM1 · 23/08/2020 20:48

@Workingmama1 thank you! Good luck for yours too. I hope your husband can go with you but if not at least he will be waiting for you after. Mine will have to stay in the car 😔

bubblybon20 · 23/08/2020 20:56

Has anyone started showing at all yet? I feel a bit gutted I haven't. Was showing with my son by 9 weeks 😫🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

SmileyT · 23/08/2020 21:07

Good luck with your scans tomorrow @DanceM1 @Workingmama1 ❤️

@bubblybon20 wow 9weeks with your son bet that was lovely having a little bump. I'm still flat as a pancake when not bloated 🙈 I didn't expect to be showing until about 16weeks, not planning on telling my parents until about 20w so hopefully they won't guess before 😂

bubblybon20 · 23/08/2020 21:15

@SmileyT I know it's crazy! I announced it to everyone at 5 weeks. But obviously back then I never thought I would suffer a Mc. How things change hey! 😟 now I don't want to announce to anyone until around 20 weeks also! I thought I would show early as obviously my muscles are most likely battered 🤣 but I'm not 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
I like your idea, I think its around 16 weeks most people just "pop" 😆

ew1990 · 23/08/2020 21:28

I didn't Think I was apart from the little bump just above my groin which is easily hid by trousers. But a few people have told me today I'm going to have to get a bigger uniform So?

I didn't really show with DD till I was about 25 weeks.

Dipsy77 · 24/08/2020 06:36

Thanks for all the congrats still in shock I think,
The lady doing the scan said I was very calm but I said to her I'm just happy they are ok and there's strong heartbeats I don't think it's sunk in yet.
Before I went yesterday I thought to myself I think it's twins and I couldn't get it out of my head all day, then the lady who went before me found out she was having twins too which was weird !!. My sickness is getting a lot worse the nausea is there 24/7 and I'm sick 2-3 times a day (would be more but I sit and try stop myself from throwing up all day), I was sick yesterday from washing my hands the feel of the warm water set me off. Just want to get to the 12 week scan now and get it confirmed medically, think I'll speak to my midwife today to let her know in case I need any extra vitamins etc xx

ew1990 · 24/08/2020 08:15

@danceM1 good luck for your scan today! They seen to be coming in fast now

Pugprincess · 24/08/2020 08:56

Good luck @DanceM1 🤞🏻❤️

Workingmama1 · 24/08/2020 09:58

Scan went well! Measuring 7+2 which is exactly 2 weeks further than last time with a good heartbeat. I cried as soon as the sonographer showed me. By the time I got back to the car I was sobbing and my husband thought it had gone wrong, I was just so overwhelmed. It's still early days but taking today as a small victory.

@workingmama aww so happy for you. Another milestone there

RosieJess91 · 24/08/2020 10:06

Oh wow @Workingmama1 I'm so happy for you! I can't wait to hear my little ones heartbeat, still haven't heard from the midwives though... 🤦🏼‍♀️

DanceM1 · 24/08/2020 10:34

Thank you for the good luck guys, I feel sick with nerves.

@Workingmama1 thats wonderful news, I'm so happy for you! X

Workingmama1 · 24/08/2020 11:00

@DanceM1, I was the same this morning, I wasn't sure if it was morning sickness or nerves making me feel so awful! Sending positive thoughts and extra good luck xxx
