MsK2be89 · 12/08/2020 14:25

@MsK2be89 stay strong! My thoughts and prayers are with you

BabyG21 · 12/08/2020 15:39

So sad to hear. I know we don’t all know each other in person but it’s really upsetting to read when we are all on this journey together. :(

I’m really trying to keep positive and try and enjoy this process but it’s situations like that that can make you worry and question each symptom or no symptoms.

IWantAPetUnicorn · 12/08/2020 16:45

@MsK2be89 I’m so sorry

DSP21 · 12/08/2020 16:52

@BabyG21 I know exactly what you mean. I never realised how on edge and emotional the first trimester could be. Right now I cant imagine enjoying pregnancy at all

Sussexbysea · 12/08/2020 16:53

Hey everyone,

How you all doing? My baby bloat is big, but then again I have eaten 4 donuts today 🙈

IWantAPetUnicorn · 12/08/2020 16:56

Feeling bloated and hot. And go between feeling starving and feeling over-full very quickly.

Boredinthehouse12 · 12/08/2020 17:06

I know I shouldn’t be but I’m so envious of everyone’s symptoms! I know strong symptoms aren’t necessary a sure fire thing that everything is ok, but I think it would really ease my mind. I’m trying to stay busy while obsessively counting down the days until my private scan on Saturday. I have my booking in appointment tomorrow so I’ve managed to break down the week in my head that way.

I hope everyone is well and staying hydrated in this unbearable heat x

BabyG21 · 12/08/2020 17:08

@Sussexbysea also suffering with a bloat. Hoping people just think lockdown hasn’t been too kind to me.

I know exactly how you feel @IWantAPetUnicorn I feel like most of my sick feeling is from hunger but it hits me so quickly and only feel better when I eat but then fill up so quickly. Trying to do little and often but I’ve always tried to avoid snacking and just had three big meals instead!

JTB123 · 12/08/2020 17:54

My bloat is definitely coming along! Never noticed it really or had any until this week! Now breathing in is just uncomfortable!! And this is my current set up 🤣

8 weeks tomorrow and feeling very round. I'm monitoring my weight weekly and it's not going up yet but my body is definitely changing shape.

@Boredinthehouse12 No real symptoms here too. I've got acne on my chest (which is new for me) and I wake up for the loo at night a lot (but it's 30 degrees and that could be down to drinking more water than usual) but other than that I haven't really got anything to report. The rounded tummy could easily be from eating poorly and water retention as much as pregnancy! Hopefully I'll have some answers in about four weeks and some reassurance that things are progressing.

aureliacecilia · 12/08/2020 18:29

Randomly found an old Mumsnet post of mine complaining about having acne for the first 20 weeks or so! I can't even remember it now. Memory is such a funny thing.

Boredinthehouse12 · 12/08/2020 18:36

@aureliacecilia it’s funny you should mention not gaining wait but your body changing shape. According to my scales I’ve actually lost a bit of weight but looking in the mirror my body has definitely changed shape too which is odd.

I was measuring quite a bit behind at my first scan just over 2 weeks ago so that was a major cause for concern for me. Reading posts on other threads about measuring behind (over a week) has really made me think the worst. I just need to know if this pregnancy is progressing or not. I guess I’ll find out on Saturday.

Thack · 12/08/2020 18:41

Oh yes @56IWantAPetUnicorn I am with you! I dive into meal and fill up half way though!

I've not had many symptoms either @06Boredinthehouse12 I keep wondering if I should do another test to make sure baby is still there and I'm not imagining it 🤔 (two positive tests = no doubt!) Keep strong, we are the lucky ones!
