@Phie04 ahhh maybe I just don't drink enough lol

DSP21 · 19/08/2020 07:17

@chloxhunt I'm not peeing often either! Maybe I do need to drink more water? I thought it was s natural thing that happened due to pressure on bladder but doesn't seem to have affected me!

Phie04 · 19/08/2020 07:56

Its because your body needs to flush out extra hormones, and to do that it uses more water so you should really drink an extra 2-3 glasses a day! Just keep one next to you and sip on it regular x

Does anyone have a physically demanding job? How are you finding it/coping?

Phie04 · 19/08/2020 08:11

TMI but does anyone else have insanely itchy and dry nipples? Mine are driving me crazy

Anyone else who doesn't need to pee often?

My damn bladder seems to wake me up all night instead of making me go during the day. Problem is, once I get p and go, I really struggle to get back to sleep some nights. Last night, I only got 4 hours sleep. Grrr. I feel for anyone here that suffers with this insomnia like me. Although I told myself this morning, it's good prep for being up in the night with a baby? Grin

aureliacecilia · 19/08/2020 08:37

I'm up all night too. Need to go about 3 or 4 times. I feel like I just nap now rather than sleep. Good preparation for the newborn days but I really do need to make sure I'm sleeping as I believe sleep deprivation was the main reason I struggled after birth.

TheFoz · 19/08/2020 08:38

@Oldermum80 how are you?

krj2608 · 19/08/2020 08:41

@GreysLove

Hey! Things are ok. I had some bleeding over the weekend after dtd. Had a private scan on Sunday baby is measuring 6 weeks and there wasn't a heartbeat so I have to be rescanned in 2weeks time. They think I could be earlier than I thought due to the miscarriage previously. I Called epu and they won't see me until 29th august! So it's now the waiting game.

How are you doing? Hope you are well x

ArtemisBean · 19/08/2020 08:43

I haven't had to get up in the night for a wee, but my first morning one is huge and I have to run as soon as I wake up. No lie ins for me! Not that DS knows what a lie in is anyway! My dreams are really weird at the moment. Really strange and vivid. Does anyone else get that?

JTB123 · 19/08/2020 08:50

@chloxhunt I don't need to pee often either!

JTB123 · 19/08/2020 08:50

Every time I think I'm caught up there's an extra 40 messages 🤣🤣

GreysLove · 19/08/2020 09:02

@krj2608 that's awful having to wait so long. All the waiting is bad enough even if all feeling fine.

Keeping everything crossed for you and that the dates are just out a bit. How you feeling other than that? I'm shattered, nauseous and peeing all the time. Told my boss cos my output at work has definitely gone down but lack of sleep is making work a real struggle. A slower few weeks on the horizon with less projects so hopefully the workload will lessen. Looking forward to 12 weeks not just for the scan but apparently energy levels increasing and symptoms going away for a bit.

Keep us posted on how you get on at the scan xx

chloxhunt · 19/08/2020 09:07

@DSP21 @Phie04 @JTB123 I'm glad it's not just me! 😂 at the beginning i was going a lot but since I hit 8 weeks it's like you don't need to go anymore hun 😂 i used to drink water and the 5 mins I'd need to go but like nope not anymore 😂😂

Oldermum80 · 19/08/2020 09:07

@TheFoz hi I’m ok, thank you. It’s eased again. Have cramps and back ache which is worrying me. Know if can all be normal but too similar to my miscarriages. I have the midwife today so I’ll mention it. I have to just accept nothing I can do. I’m back at the EPU when I get to 19 weeks so don’t really want to keep bothering them when they’ve only just seen me, so just got to sit it out.

chloxhunt · 19/08/2020 09:10

@ArtemisBean I had vivid dreams last week like 2 in a row and none since lok

chloxhunt · 19/08/2020 09:12

@Oldermum80 I hope everything's okay! Try to keep positive! I know it's hard when you start to get different symptoms! But sometimes it doesn't mean anything! Please keep us updated x

krj2608 · 19/08/2020 09:18

@GreysLove

The wait is awful, they tested my hcg levels across a few days the miscarriage before this pregnancy. I asked if this could be done again and told no I just need to wait. I'm normally quite patient but I'm so worried something will happen in front of my children. My mental health is normally ok but suffering with anxiety and panic attacks. It's just so worrying. I was worried about dates as they usually add two weeks on for start of Period and ovulation but the midwife who called said they won't do that as it wasn't a miscarriage so at the moment they just don't know my dates.

I'm having nausea and sickness still, I'm shattered (slept 9 hours last night!), needing to wee lots too, so all good signs. I had backache last night and thought this is it but nothing and that's gone away now. My first miscarriage was 6 years ago and I had full contractions and heavy bleeding straight away. So it's feels completely different this time around.

I'm glad you are well and it's scary telling the boss! I told mine last week and I know she is preparing rotas and allocating work. I'm quite good friends with my boss so wasn't too bad. Xx

Babafarmer · 19/08/2020 09:21

@Oldermum80 how are you today? Xx

CazWte · 19/08/2020 09:22

@NoGinNotComingIn what a wonderful scan picture! Congratulations x

GreysLove · 19/08/2020 09:25

@krj2608 aww love it's so difficult, I have everything crossed that everything is ok for you, and the previous miscarriage has just thrown things out of whack in terms of dates etc. That's good you're getting sleep though I'm about 6 hours a night at the moment.

I've been having period like cramps n back pain for weeks which is a worry but no spotting and lots of things online say it's normal with the movement and growth inside.

Sending lots of positive thoughts and hope that the next week or so flies by for all of us x

chloxhunt · 19/08/2020 09:31

@GreysLove yeah I had period like cramps before i knew i was pregnant I just thought it was my period about to come on lol, I had a scan due to the cramps and everything is fine! They'll ease off i don't get them as often anymore and i was waking up in the night with really bad cramps from the right to the left of my abdomen

Oldermum80 · 19/08/2020 09:50

@chloxhunt I am trying. Keeping off my phone and not googling is helping. Thank you to everyone who posted to me yesterday. I really appreciate it.
@Babafarmer I’m ok thank you. Back to going with the flow and waiting it out. It’s gone again today but I had pains too and that’s how my miscarriages both started so it plays on my mind.

Babafarmer · 19/08/2020 09:56

@Oldermum80 pleased you are ok today. You must be beside your self. Why is your next scan? X
