@Oldermum80 thank you! It seems to be fading now I guess that might be a good sign? But I'm still getting period like cramps which still makes me think somethings wrong, but then again I could be looking to deep into the cramps where I was getting them anyway but they do feel different, I'm just praying that everything's okay! I'm 22 so I know I still have my life ahead of me and more opportunities but I still feel too young to be going through a miscarriage you know?

Taylortyler · 15/08/2020 11:43

Sorry you guys are having it tough at the moment... Hopefully a bit of positive news will be welcome - had a private scan this morning and all looks well - measured at 8+3 and my dates are 8+6 so all on track

@Taylortyler awww good! That roughly what I am if everything's okay

Dreamcatcher007 · 15/08/2020 14:21

@Taylortyler Thank you for the positive news - must be so great to see the little bean there! I’ve held out without a private scan, and my first scan is a week away - I’m willing the time to go faster!

@chloxhunt Fingers crossed everything is ok! I felt so weak and tied and generally crappy up until 10 weeks, and then at 10.5 weeks I woke up one morning and finally felt energetic (I even did my Joe Wicks again for the first time in ages!). I think it’s so hard not to feel anxious and overwhelmed when you are feeling tired generally, but I think placenta is supposed to kick in around 10-12 weeks and then everything is so much easier, hopefully! Keeping everything crossed for us all! 🤞

Clara9 · 15/08/2020 14:21

Hope you’re ok, @chloxhunt xx

Babafarmer · 15/08/2020 15:18

I'm sorry you guys are having a worrying time at the minute. I haven't really had any symptoms since 7 weeks and haven't really had an morning sickness. Occasionally a bit queasy but nothing to write home about. My boobs has been awful since a couple of days post ovulation but from about 6-7 weeks they we just a tiny bit tender and I was a continually poking them.
I had a scan at 6+4 which dated
me at 6+1. I had the scan at EPU due to cramps. A couple of days after the scan I walked two fells and when I finished the cramps were that bad and I had to go to bed. That's when I noticed my symptoms decrease. So I have been counting down to my private scan today. everything is fine and I'm dated 10+2 and it's 10 weeks today since my LMP so baba farmer has caught up and overtaken.

Update guys, my discharge seems to be going back to its normal colour! It's been nothing like it was last night so hopefully everything's good

Oldermum80 · 15/08/2020 16:15

@Taylortyler @Babafarmer lovely to see scan pics and hear good news.

@chloxhunt I still have colour but wondering if it might be infection. Pleased things seem to be going back to normal for you! Hope it lasts.

chloxhunt · 15/08/2020 16:33

@Oldermum80 yeah that's what my mums thinking for me too! Last night she said it wasn't looking good but because it's not getting heavier and the colour is just more of a dirty discharge now and I looked earlier before I went for a walk and it was clear so 🤷🏼‍♀️

TheFoz · 15/08/2020 16:48

Has anyone had to start buying maternity clothes yet? I’m 10+1 and starting to struggle in my regular clothes!
I’ve been looking at Jojo Maman and a lot of the reviews aren’t great. I was never keen on H&M or New Look as a brand, I don’t find the quality great. I don’t mind paying for Seraphine if the quality is good. Mothercare is I remember used to be a good option but sadly they are no more.

It’s 12 years since I had my last so I’m a bit lost!

Clara9 · 15/08/2020 17:24

@TheFoz I’m struggling because of the bloat! Have basically had to give up on jeans as even my ‘baggy jeans’ feel like they are cutting in when I sit down. Think I’m going to go floaty and a size up for now.

bobloblawlawblog · 15/08/2020 17:53

Foz maternity clothes wise Topshop jeans are the best I've found. Most selection of styles too and proper jeans fabric. You can often find on eBay if you on a budget too.

Tops wise you can get away with bigger sizes from your normal shops for a bit- H&M basics or Primark. I've started wearing cami dresses with loose tops over and sandals/trainers and that seems to be covering all bases. The Primark cami dresses that are a couple of pounds are great.

bobloblawlawblog · 15/08/2020 17:54

The Topshop boxy oversize t shirts are good too!

bobloblawlawblog · 15/08/2020 17:55

ASOS have a pretty large range too

ChilternsHan · 15/08/2020 18:00

Lovely scan pics today. I'll be 10 weeks this coming week and @Taylortyler your pic makes me so excited!

Taylortyler · 15/08/2020 18:08

@ChilternsHan I'm excited to see the difference between now and 12 weeks - I see the midwife Tuesday so hoping I'll get the date for the next scan then.
I have a little video of the heart fluttering too just makes it real now Smile

MummaZ93 · 15/08/2020 18:18

Having my first scan on 1st September so will find out when I am due then. I'm thinking around end of February or march time! This is my 3rd baby Smile

EmzG20 · 15/08/2020 19:26

I had my early scan today and all looks good, good strong heartbeat. They put me at 7+6 which is 5 days behind where I thought I was but that could change at 12 week scan which is 8th September so not too long. Can at least try and relax a little now

Boredinthehouse12 · 15/08/2020 20:01

@Babafarmer I’m so happy for you! What a clear photo. Did you have an internal scan?

CazWte · 15/08/2020 20:21

I've had to start buying them, my belly is huge already at 11 weeks! ASOS have a good selection ☺️
Babafarmer · 15/08/2020 20:44

@Boredinthehouse12 thank you. No it was abdominal but my bladder was very full so she said that helped. How did yours go today? Xx

Boredinthehouse12 · 15/08/2020 21:05

@Babafarmer I don’t think it’s good news for me.

The sonographer couldn’t see anything on the abdominal scan and was unable to perform an internal one as a chaperone wasn’t available. He tried a good few times and couldn’t see a thing. At this point I started panicking and had a mini melt down, so he asked me to drink more water and come back 30 mins later, which I did. When I returned he tried a few more times but still couldn’t see a baby.

I had an external scan just over 2 weeks ago and we saw a heartbeat (at a different clinic), so I don’t know what’s happened. Right now I’m in limbo and don’t know what to think. If I’m honest with myself I think this is the end of the road for me. During the scan I think I saw a little spec that looked like the baby I saw 2 weeks ago, only this time without a heartbeat. Although surely the sonographer would have said something?

I’ve booked another scan for tomorrow afternoon at a different clinic so hopefully I’ll get a definitive answer then.

Phie04 · 15/08/2020 21:09

@Boredinthehouse12 so sorry to hear that. Hopefully you'll get better answers tomorrow, perhaps something may show up if you are able to have an internal scan. Wishing you the best ❤️
