@kkr168 yes me for the last 2 weeks or so every evening last night actually woke up thought was being sick acid I find milk or a couple does help

Pinktruffle · 23/08/2020 23:45

@danielasummer by swivel do you mean a 360 seat? We have gone for the Silvercross motion which is a 360 seat, we were choosing between that and the Joie 360I but really liked the material on the Silvercross so went for that. It's a lovely seat, we cant wait to use it.

confused107 · 24/08/2020 06:55

We also went for the Cloud Z as it swivels, fits on the travel system, reclines and has good safety ratings. Looked super in the shop! So many to chose from

danielasummer · 24/08/2020 08:48

@lionsmum @kkr168 @Pinktruffle @confused107 thank you, there doesn't seem to be a great deal of choice with the swivel/360 car seats! Will probably go for the Cloud Z as it's the only one I've seen in person

lionsmum · 24/08/2020 10:23

@kkr168 I have it most days, never particularly bad but enough to be u comfortable. Over the counter stuff never seemed to work for me, I got some peptac from the pharmacy which you can get for free through minor ailments, it's amazing I swear by it. I know some are on omeprazole but I never felt mine was bad enough to warrant daily medication.

danielasummer · 24/08/2020 13:57

Which prams/travel systems have people gone for?

We tried out the Uppababy Vista V2 on Friday and loved it, £1250 for everything. But now I've looked at the Ickle Bubba Stomp V3 and the whole system is £399 on offer.

Does anyone have either of these and can tell me pros and cons? Do you recommend them and why?

This group is a godsend honestly 🙌🏻 I don't really know anyone else with babies so my mind is kind of blown with all of this stuff!

Bluebell2020 · 24/08/2020 14:00

@daniellasummer I've got the Uppababy Vista V2! Got the whole travel system and I'm sooooo happy with it. But not actually used it yet so can't comment on how good it actually is Haha. When we got it home though we were super happy with the quality and all the little additional features it has!

Bluebell2020 · 24/08/2020 14:01

Danielasummer just realise I didn't tag your name right!

Pinktruffle · 24/08/2020 14:12

My little one seems to have become nocturnal. There is hardly any movement during the day, I get a few kicks every now and then but that's about it. When I wake up to go to the toilet at night, it's usually busy doing somersaults, I have a head poking out here and a foot poking out over there! I'm sleeping quite well at the minute (hope that doesn't jinx it) so its making monitoring movement quite hard. I get a bit agitated during the day as baby is quiet, not good for my anxiety.

Kj1010 · 24/08/2020 15:15

@danielasummer I have the ickle bubba stomp v3 I've yet to put up n use but i got mine off online4baby 499 with a bouncer booster high chair and travel cot and the isofix base and i love the look and feel we see the pram in a shop so no it's good quality

Kj1010 · 24/08/2020 15:16

@Pinktruffle sane as me my little one is more active at night than day and once I've ate as for the head here foot there ive still yet to see that as my little one isnt poking that strongly lol

jalu47 · 24/08/2020 15:34

@danielasummer we went with the uppababy vista in the end. I liked it because with some adaptors it can stack so you can use the bassinet and the chair together - we are thinking we might have a second quite close so we are future proofing!

The woman in the shop gave us loads of info and said you are definitely paying for 'engineering' rather than some of the similar price that are more for the aesthetic. Its a nice drive and little things like the front wheels being a bit narrower to fit under a table incase you want to use it as a highchair make sense. It also folds with the baby seat in it, unlike a lot of others where you have to remove it first and then fold the chassis, plus it stands up on its own when folded. Also she said if grandparents are using it, it is definitely the easiest to put up / down! I only looked at the, the bugaboo and icandy so can't really comment on the ickle bubba (apart from that the name itself would put me off haha!)

nearlyamummyof2boys · 24/08/2020 16:06

@Kj1010 we ordered the Joie stages car seat for my DS1 from Online4baby and it came with that booster high chair - it's absolutely brilliant our little boy loves it! So handy to carry around aswell!
We were going to do for the Joie 360 but I love the look of this Me-Goo swivel car seat!

chubbyhotchoc · 24/08/2020 16:22

Another for uppababy here! I had it last time and it was brilliant. Easy to fold, high handle, big basket, loved it. I just got last years model though as so much cheaper and preferred the sunshade on the older one

Bluebell2020 · 24/08/2020 17:27

Anyone considering or previously had a 4d scan? Got one on saturday and I'm super excited but also very nervous!

kkr168 · 24/08/2020 19:02

@Bluebell2020 I've had one, I posted a couple of pics on page 25.
I got a video of the whole scan, it is amazing to watch, at one point the baby waves & yawns.

@lionsmum I will give peptac a go, I also don't think mine is severe enough to warrant taking something daily.

I've ordered a wrist splint to wear to bed now because my pregnancy related carpel tunnel has got so bad, I was up so much last night because of it. It used to only affect me for a short time on waking but the past few days it has hung around for most of the day, so really hoping the splint works.

Bluebell2020 · 24/08/2020 19:14

@kkr168 oooo I'll have a look. I'm on the app so just one long thread of all the messages but will see if I can find them!! Sounds daft but worried I'll think she just looks like an alien and don't want it to freak me out Haha. But then part of me thinks I will absolutely love it!

lc86 · 24/08/2020 19:48

@Bluebell2020 we have ours on Saturday too 😊 it'll be nice to have the video of it to show baby's big sisters xx

MrsR87 · 24/08/2020 19:51

@Bluebell2020

We had one this week! It was amazing. As first time parents, it was great to finally get to experience it together. We got loads of really clear images and the DVD! I feel like I already know my little man 🥰

Babyhope98 · 24/08/2020 21:55

@Bluebell2020 I had one on Sunday it was amazing, was so in love with her little face I was lucky it was really clear and she kept her hands away from her face 🥰🥰 They look like proper little babies now I was surprised x

Bluebell2020 · 24/08/2020 22:06

Eeeek thanks everyone that's definitely made me even more excited! hope I manage to get some good pictures! x

CoBell · 24/08/2020 22:08

Hi @Bluebell2020, I have a 4D scan this week booked as a surprise for my husbands birthday and I can't wait! Nice to hear about the good 4D experiences. I really hope she's in a good position as I really want to see her little face! Grin

alphabetti · 24/08/2020 22:10

@Bluebell2020 we had a well-being and gender scan at window to the womb just because my partner not been allowed to attend NHS scans. Had it at 20weeks. They switched to 4D for part of it and was lovely to see details of our baby girls face. I would def recommend. It cost us £60 and we got 4 photos and could download all the photos taken from an app.

EithneBlue · 24/08/2020 23:09

We just bought a Phil and Ted's Mod pushchair on sale for £169 - husband put it together earlier and had a little play - it seems ideal for us and pretty happy with the bargain there!

@pinktruffle - Mine has become nocturnal too - I'm 27+2 and have only just got any sort of pattern (and movement has only become really clear in the last week) but from 9pm onwards it's like a party in there.

peachypetite · 25/08/2020 06:47

I did some reading into baby movements and it seems when you’re active in the day it lulls baby to sleep. Then when you’re quiet and ready to sleep it’s like party time for the baby!
Can someone explain these 360 car seats to me as I don’t really get it 😂😂😂
