@jalu47 Awh I really am sorry. I hope it picks up for you, you just need one person who wants to buy after all so that's one way of looking at it. One thing for sure is that you will definitely be happy wherever you are when little one comes, though I know if you want to move it's hard to be at ease. Really hoping it comes through for you!

MummyShark97 · 21/08/2020 08:21

@chubbyhotchoc

I feel we've got a lot of names we like but no clear favourite!

Otis, Nico, Grey, Bryson... there's loads more, I'm starting to feel that we will know when we meet him and maybe he'll even be nameless for a few days!!

Tough decision isn't it !! rightly so I supposeSmile

chubbyhotchoc · 21/08/2020 08:23

@jalu47 well I'll believe it when I see it. If she makes a low offer it won't be worth us moving. We only reduced it last week as well so offers are going to be a bit useless to her. Plus I don't really know where the heck we'll move to!

chubbyhotchoc · 21/08/2020 08:26

@MummyShark97 I think I like Nico our if those. Possibly Otis. Not that my opinion is of any use.
We have, Jasmine, Lucy, Melody being licked about at the moment with dh desperate for Lucy. I can't say I'm excited about any of those though. Idk what's wrong with me.

chubbyhotchoc · 21/08/2020 08:26

Kicked about not licked about!

ChampooPapi · 21/08/2020 08:27

@MummyShark97 love love love Nico 🙌

ClaireCanale123 · 21/08/2020 08:42

Hi everyone ! Just wondering if anyone else has a really small bump at 25 weeks at 5 days? I can feel baby moving and everything and all scans went perfectly but now I’m worrying that my bump is just too small...

jalu47 · 21/08/2020 08:51

@chubbyhotchoc We think we have a name - most likely Benjamin but I also like Joshua or Theo as back ups. We actually had loads for a boy and were struggling with girls names so guess we were lucky!

Also, Lucy is a GREAT name, timeless! ;o) haha. But i know what you mean it's a difficult process aligning with the other half.

MummyShark97 · 21/08/2020 08:51

@ChampooPapi @chubbyhotchoc

Nico probably is my favourite if I'm brutally honest but DH isn't sold so I've kind of dropped off with it but I do love it !!!

chubbyhotchoc · 21/08/2020 08:59

@jalu47 I wasn't against Lucy but I mentioned it to my mum and she went crazy telling me it was slang for condom in her day (?!) and horrible etc. I then found out that her best friend's granddaughter is called Lucy so I'm thinking that is her real motivation for trying to put us off it.

jalu47 · 21/08/2020 09:08

@chubbyhotchoc yeah that's also a problem with us - all my friends and family have already had kids and soooo many names have been taken, although if it was someone a bit distant it wouldn't put me off. So tricky! I do have two cousins with the same name lol

confused107 · 21/08/2020 09:42

@ChampooPapi thanks for the link we will definitely book the flu jab

We are now down to only two names we both like. Rose and Elizabeth. I think I prefer Rose, but there are lots of abbreviations of Elizabeth that I love (especially Betty!) so who knows, we might come across something else

peachypetite · 21/08/2020 09:47

Ugh I feel crap. I hate broken sleep. Have a lot to do today as well! We are also struggling with names, particularly with boy!

Our house sale is a nightmare - everything perfect on our side but now the vendors are only just starting the process on the house they're buying! So we are going to be a month after expected completion date and possibly the only a couple of weeks before I'm due - but it's to late to start the process all over again!

Some lovely names - how frustrating is it when people tell you silly nicknames for names or when you find out someone in extended family has the name!

We've settled on Thomas Wyatt ❤️

I loved Chase, Chance and Parker but they were vetoed.
Im sorry your sleeps been so bad @peachypetite

Thanks for link @chubbyhotchoc

MrsR87 · 21/08/2020 10:39

@peachypetite we struggled with bits names too, but as we’re having a boy we had to get one! We’ve got one we both like so hopefully he suits it!

I had a terrible night’s sleep last night...I think I went to the loo five times 😰

Kj1010 · 21/08/2020 11:14

Still no definite names for us for our little man gotta feeling if we dont find one its gonna be the name my oh loves lol I'm also struggling with the sleep I'm finding very uncomfortable to get in to a decent position and the need for a wee is terrible lol also I'm finding it hard to get to sleep early and I start back at work monday so have to get up at 5am do feel a struggle coming on but on for 2 n half months as in taking maternity leave mid november

peachypetite · 21/08/2020 11:41

@ClaireCanale123 I really wouldn’t worry about your bump size. Everyone is so different and carries differently. You’ll start seeing midwives more frequently from 28 weeks and I’m sure they will let you know if anything doesn’t seem right.

ClaireCanale123 · 21/08/2020 11:46

@peachypetite aw I know I’m just worrying about nothing probably. It’s just you can barely notice I’m pregnant 😂 thank you for your advice I will definitely stop worrying for the time being 😬

confused107 · 21/08/2020 11:51

I feel all the house selling pain. I'm selling a house (not one I live in but I need to release the funds to pay for my maternity leave). The sale was agreed before lockdown and everything is ready to go from both legal sides apart from the buyers mortgage as he has had to reapply as he was furloughed but is now back at work. Been waiting for months for it to get sorted and getting pretty anxious that he is actually unable to get a mortgage now and we will have to start the entire process again! Estate agents are rubbish, don't call back ect!

loobeelou · 21/08/2020 12:11

No names decided here either. There are a few I like, Charlotte is a favourite but I also like Alice, Lucy and Matilda. I also like Olivia, we both agreed on Oliver when we thought bump was a boy 😂, but I'm worried it's too popular.
DH is annoying when it comes to names, he keeps vetoing names but doesn't come up with suggestions 🤪

Jellycat2020 · 21/08/2020 12:21

Glad it's not just me having trouble sleeping. One night I'm fine and sleep right through (except for a couple of wees) but last night I got to 2.30am and PING! Wide awake. Finally got off again about 5.30am for another hour then my hips started screaming at me 😣.

MrsR87 · 21/08/2020 12:50

I’ve started using a pregnancy pillow as my back and stomach were starting to ache. It does help but it locks you in to sleeping in one side so I have to wake up and flip it to the other side half way through the night lol.

Amyyy1 · 21/08/2020 17:18

Has anyone started thinking about hospital bags yet?? I know it seems way too soon but I'm thinking I might pack everything needed in a couple of weeks and then leave it at my mums until closer to the time just so I know it's organised and good to go especially if I ended up going into labour early. Maybe that is crazy 😅

Pinktruffle · 21/08/2020 17:21

@Amyyy1 I'm going to start getting mine together soon. I'd rather hav eit out of the way and done. I just need to wash the newborn clothes I bought before I get started.

Pinktruffle · 21/08/2020 17:24

I'm feeling really drained and crappy today. I slept well last night but keep falling asleep on the sofa, and any time I'm awake, all I want to do is eat which is unusual for me but I'm snack central today.

My bump is coming along nicely though, I was 26 weeks yesterday and think I'm quite big for a FTM but I'm very small when not pregnant so guessing that might be why?
