They will also do a glucidebtest if you have Polycystic Ovaries as it is linked to insulin resistance.

Pinktruffle · 20/08/2020 00:36

That should say *glucose test

@nearlyamummyof2boys that's so exciting! I'm almost 11 weeks away from the week on my section too, although I won't have an official date until the end of October I think, wishing life away now but I just can't wait!

@Babyhope98 what a horrible experience for you, you did the right thing though that's for sure & well done for being persistent & not put off, it's such a shame how vastly care differs even from midwife to midwife

@Furbabymum15 many congratulations💖

Did I see people talking about the Gro eggs a little while back? Heard they are a good purchase for the early hours of the morning, think it'll be going on the list of things to get. Also purchased some babygrows with zips on them, seems they will be very handy too!

MummyShark97 · 20/08/2020 08:53

@peachypetite woah!!! 🥳 that's something!

Babyhope98 · 20/08/2020 09:40

I’ve got 10 can’t wait @peachypetite glad I’m working though time is going so fast now I’m busy. Can’t wait just over one month until I hit 30 weeks 🤩🤩🤩

Snowwhite2020 · 20/08/2020 10:32

@Furbabymum15 congratulations- wonderful news and an April baby will be so precious 🐣

@peachypetite yay for work finishing soon! I think I’ve seen you’ve had a bit of trouble sleeping at times and I have too. About a week there of waking at 3.30am and ended up in floods of tears yesterday out of sheer exhaustion! DH made a big effort to make things relaxing for sleep last night and I slept until 10am and feel like a new person.... I know everyone says “oh get used to never sleeping again” and yeah but... I’d rather sleep when/ if I can!!

Hope everyone is well xx

MummyShark97 · 20/08/2020 11:39

Still not decided when to start mine! Employer is being super flexible which is really nice of course...

MummyShark97 · 20/08/2020 11:40

Also how's everyone with a house move pending getting on?! We complete tomorrow and I can't wait !!

Babyhope98 · 20/08/2020 11:57

Anyone else got stretch marks yet? I’ve seen some come up scared as I’ve still got a way to go wonder what the end result will be 🤔😳

peachypetite · 20/08/2020 12:32

I had planned to work really close to due date but I had a call with HR and actually have shit loads of annual leave to take, suits me because I’m already feeling irritable and deffo have some nights with poor sleep. @Snowwhite2020 yep had an awful night recently and couldn’t stop crying so I do think sleep has a huge effect on my mood and emotional state! @Babyhope98 I’ve been moisturising religiously with cowshed stretch mark oil and no marks yet.

@MummyShark97 ours is on the market. We've had about 12 viewings and it's really getting on my nerves having to clean and tidy all the time for them. Had a really promising one this morning but not heard anything yet.

jalu47 · 20/08/2020 14:37

@chubbyhotchoc @MummyShark97 ours has been on the market for about 8 weeks now and after a few really active weeks, we haven't had any viewings for 2 weeks. Thinking we need a cut off date where we just decided to stay put for now.... what are you both thinking?! Our move would involve a hospital change too so i don't want to leave it too late...

Pink15 · 20/08/2020 19:33

@lionsmum where did you get your zip sleep suits from? :)

lionsmum · 20/08/2020 20:33

@Pink15 I bought one from Mori as a treat (for me lol) as they are expensive but meant to be amazing! & the other few are from Next, i got them in 'first size' because he's going to be 4 weeks early so imagining going to need a few small sizes. The Next ones are soo soft, love them!

NaomiB79 · 20/08/2020 21:47

@Pink15 I think H&M do a good range of zip sleep suits too

Pink15 · 20/08/2020 22:15

Thanks both will have a look!

MummyShark97 · 20/08/2020 22:41

@jalu47 well, we're moving into our new place tomorrow and I feel it's fallen just right for us I'm 26 weeks on Saturday😊 you know how you feel so I think choose something you're comfortable with. A friend of mine is due in 3 weeks and going through the sale process which would make me really anxious I think so I think it's really individual! Trust your gut id say

chubbyhotchoc · 20/08/2020 23:08

@jalu47 I said we'd give it until
September and then take it off the market. The lady that came today apparently rang the estate agent and said she's going to put an offer in but is just deciding what it's going to be. We've got another three trying to get a viewing as well.

peachypetite · 21/08/2020 06:12

Been awake since 2am again using the toilet every 40 mins or so. Argh!

OP posts:
MummyShark97 · 21/08/2020 06:28

@peachypetite just rubbish isn't it! Wide awake since the small hours, got to 5am I just gave up and got up !

jalu47 · 21/08/2020 08:05

@MummyShark97 @chubbyhotchoc Very jealous of you both! I think we were a bit naive and just thought it would sell within 6 weeks but we don't have any outside space and with it being summer and coming out of lockdown it seems to be front of mind for everyone. We've already dropped the price but nothing as yet.

jalu47 · 21/08/2020 08:07

@lionsmum i got a few from next too and really like them, think could be a coming home outfit!

ChampooPapi · 21/08/2020 08:14

www.boots.com/online/pharmacy-services/winter-flu-jab-services

Morning ladies, I've posted the link to book your flu jabs, the slots start around the end of September so get booking! Just select the box that your pregnant and it will take you to a quick online form, you can add a partner too and then he/she will pay on the day. You just put your postcode in and away you go.

Self referring is definitely worth it, I wouldn't wait for your midwife or doctor to sort it out 🙄

Obviously yours is free 🙌

chubbyhotchoc · 21/08/2020 08:17

Thanks @ChampooPapi
Have you ladies got anywhere with names? Dh and I still can't agree. I had my DD's name by this time. Worried I'll be dazed and confused after the birth and dh will jump in with something crap
