@StephRae beautiful names and congratulations.

So happy they arrived safely and are doing well ❤️❤️

peachypetite · 18/08/2020 11:16

Aw Steph. I can’t imagine what you’re going through it must be so scary. Just take each day at a time and use the good people you have around you for support.

A massive congratulations @StephRae ❤️💙what beautiful names!
I'm sure your babies are getting the absolute best care how amazing they're little fighters!

Lots of love to you and your partner!

I've just had my scan and finally my baby is growing perfectly and everything is fine!
I can transfer to my new hospital now if everything is fine at the MRI and they will induce me at 38 weeks which seems so soon!

Congrats again on your two little ones @StephRae 🥰🥰🥰

nearlyamummyof2boys · 18/08/2020 11:18

I'm glad you're getting support as well @StephRae ❤️

Pinktruffle · 18/08/2020 16:05

That's fantastic news @nearlyamummyof2boys! Glad you had a good scan.

I had my first face to face appointment today and finally met my midwife which was really nice, she seems very supportive. I discussed my anxiety around the birth and possibly wanting a C-Section and she's happy to refer me to the Consultant midwife to discuss it. I got to hear baby's heartbeat too which was nice and strong

Snowwhite2020 · 18/08/2020 16:10

@StephRae I have just logged on and read your news- congratulations and I agree beautiful names ❤️ It must have been a terrible shock for you and I hope you are recovering and taking heart that the first few days have gone well.

@nearlyamummyof2boys great news for you and your boy too.

Xx

Kpm7 · 18/08/2020 17:04

23+4 and think I have finally felt so real movement and activity. Any recommendations on how you ladies logged or tracked movement
Xx

Kpm7 · 18/08/2020 17:06

@nearlyamummyof2boys great news.

❤️
I love how we are all becoming more positive now the with the posts.
It’s getting so real I am actually pooping my pants 😂🙈

chubbyhotchoc · 18/08/2020 17:59

@nearlyamummyof2boys great news! You must be so relieved!
Has anybody been on the scales? I'm up 16lb at 25+2. Not enjoying watching the back rolls develop

Babyhope98 · 18/08/2020 20:57

Does anyone get an achy bump some days mines aching today along my pubic bone. Don’t know if it’s bowel related or what as I’ve upped my iron tablets the past two days 😖

kkr168 · 18/08/2020 21:16

Bump progress pics, I miss my 24 week bump, it had rounded off lovely & now it's gone a bit all over again. I've been getting period like pains over the past few days & usually get them before another bump growth spurt.

@chubbyhotchoc i was up 13lb 2 weeks ago, then last week I must have lost some because I'm now 9lb up from my start weight.

Babyhope98 · 18/08/2020 21:58

@kkr168 yay thank you that’s reassuring, I think I may be having a growth spurt too still good movement but she seems a bit more quiet which I have noticed she does sometimes, so I assume this is when she has a spurt x

PipTed · 18/08/2020 22:17

@StephRae congratulations! What a shock! But a lovely one all the same and such good news that they are fighting away and getting stronger! 😊

@nearlyamummyof2boys great news for you too! Must be fab hearing that after so many other appointments! Onwards and upwards!

@chubbyhotchoc yup! 25+4 - looked last week and I was about a stone up. It’s been my birthday since and much cake was consumed, so dread to think! Having a healthy few weeks now to try and recover.

Baby will not stop moving about! Can always feel it kicking or wriggling and can see it sometimes too. Anyone else got an active little one?!

lionsmum · 19/08/2020 10:00

Oh @StephRae huge congratulations on the birth of your little ones💙💖 seeing your babies in the NICU environment is so tough but it's so amazing what they can do in there, seeing those little humans fighting and getting stronger every day. It will be an extremely emotional time for you all but I pray you'll have your two little ones home with you in the near future🤞🏼

Kj1010 · 19/08/2020 10:23

23+3 my little one is active but more of a night he moves a little in day but not much I think I'm gonna have a small baby as his still in womb area and even though I can feel movement they ain't very strong like my kids cant see the belly move yet but I'm sure over next week or so they will get to the strength they can see lol

chubbyhotchoc · 19/08/2020 11:17

@PipTed think a stone seems about average. I'm trying to slow it down a bit. I have an active one especially at night. She seems to get stuck on one side and roll about as well. I'm on alert for hiccups. My dd had them almost constantly which I thought was cute at the time but when she came out she was the windiest baby you've ever seen. Hoping this one has a better digestive system lol

PipTed · 19/08/2020 12:07

Yes I was the same last night! Baby was all bunched up at one side and made the bump look odd! Oh will try and keep an eye out for hiccups, do you instantly know it’s them or does it take a while to realise?

Not sure if it’s linked to the cake consumption, but belly button is almost flush to belly now. 🙈

chubbyhotchoc · 19/08/2020 13:13

@PipTed it was just really obvious when she hiccuped. You'll know it if they do it. This one so far hasn't. Very regular intermittent jerking always after I'd eaten something especially something sugary.

ChampooPapi · 19/08/2020 13:21

@StephRae oh my god, I'm sorry I've only just seen your update about your twins. I've been very lazy with Mumsnet, and most other things! The last few weeks. Congratulations on them both arriving into the world, welcome tiny ones!

This must be all so difficult to manage for you and your husband, having to leave the hospital without them and coming a going. How are they doing in their growth? They sound like brilliant weights for 25 weeks, thank goodness for that mercy. You have shown so much courage also to come on and update everyone and I really hope you are getting as much real life support as you guys need. My thoughts are with you and I agree with everyone that those names are absolutely gorgeous 🥰

ChampooPapi · 19/08/2020 13:21

@nearlyamummyof2boys so happy and relieved to see this lovely ♥️

ChampooPapi · 19/08/2020 13:24

And thank you again to the amazing and fantastic @peachypetite for setting up this thread, I have been utterly useless the last month and my brain has officially turned to mush. Second trimester lull 😴🛌

nearlyamummyof2boys · 19/08/2020 13:35

Thanks everyone for good wishes! I really am a new person now I know it's all good!
It's officially 11 weeks today until the latest they will induce me - sounds so soon!

I also have an active little fella!

How is everyone's hormones - I feel like an emotional wreck a lot, I'm quite worried about post-natal depression as has such a tumultuous pregnancy and with moving away. Might speak to midwives in Liverpool about speaking to someone maybe? Not really sure?

Welcome back @ChampooPapi 🥰🥰🥰
