Lovely bump pics ladies, here's mine today at 23+5

We have a weekend away booked in September, staying at sandy balls in the new forest. The new forest seems to be a popular choice on here!

@Amyyy1 it definitely is. I can go hours without feeling anything. Usually do feel something in the evening after I eat but again it’s just fluttering and swishing.

After reading everyone's posts I feel really really lucky to have had every single appointment face to face so far. It's so crazy that they're not seeing people face to face when so many restrictions have been relaxed. We're in a local lockdown and all my appointments are still face to face! It's a bit rubbish how inconsistent different NHS trusts are!

Also I love how different everyone's bumps are 😍😍😍

Hanrora06 · 04/08/2020 21:19

@ChampooPapi thank you! yes I'm totally chilled about the bump, I love it no matter the size :D I actually am loving having a bit more roundness to my body for a change, it makes me very happy! I'm not expecting it to be huge though- my mum said to me today that she thinks it'll stay small as we both have very long bodies (impossible to find a jumpsuit/playsuit that fits haha) so the baby has more room to move about. No idea if this is scientifically sound but it makes sense to me! And your bump is beautiful!

I do love all the bumps. They are so amazing! @danielasummer you are right it is such a strange feeling!! It still seems crazy to me to think there is an increasingly large actual baby in there. Surreal really. And @confused107

@Pinktruffle @catnip99 I haven't been able to wear any of my jeans since like week 6, it's like I grew a lot straight away but then it slowed down! I basically just got into maternity leggings and stayed there lol.

@confused107 yeah I've been pretty lucky too, I've had a face to face at around 8 weeks, a (granted, it was requested) one at 16 weeks and I'm having another at 25 weeks. The inconsistency does blow my mind. Like, we all pay taxes the same for the NHS and I just don't get why it should be different in quality across areas. I'm sorry @catnip99, (and all the rest of us without as much care) it must be really frustrating :(

confused107 · 05/08/2020 10:37

@Kj1010 seems like there are some bargains in Aldi. I was in a rush so couldn't look at everything but grabbed some muslins (£2.99 for 3) and some cot sheets (£5.99 for 2). Don't think you can go wrong at those prices. They had other stuff like a nappy bin that I would be interested in so hoping there is still some stuff left when I have time to look when I do the shop this week

peachypetite · 05/08/2020 10:46

The aldi baby event is fab. I got some cellular blankets, bibs, muslins, sheets etc for great prices. The stock goes quickly though! Not much left in mine a few days ago. I also hadn’t been planning on a Moses basket but at £30 including the stand decided to get one for the living room.

Pinktruffle · 05/08/2020 12:04

I got a baby bath seat in the Aldi baby event for £12.99. John Lewis are doing the exact same one for £27.99

Kj1010 · 05/08/2020 12:36

Yeah there wasnt alot left in my aldi but I only wanted the bottles really and see the sheets and bibs and thought why not looking at the items I've got so far and I actually havent got loads left to buy really just steraliser baby groves best etc coat blankets nappies wipes milk then just for hospital stuff really for me quite proud lol

Kj1010 · 05/08/2020 12:36

kkr168 · 05/08/2020 13:54

I managed to get bibs, muslins & Moses basket sheets from my local aldi. I need to stop buying bibs, I have at least 30!

I've got a 4d scan on the 16th, has anyone else got one booked? I can't wait!!

My DH finally felt the baby kick last night, he was beginning to get a complex that he wasn't liked 🤣

Babyhope98 · 05/08/2020 13:59

Yes I have one booked on the 23rd I wanted to wait till I was later on but I couldn’t wait to check in on her 😆😆

Babyhope98 · 05/08/2020 13:59

@kkr168

Pinktruffle · 05/08/2020 14:02

@peachypetite I'm the same, my hallway looks like a DPD depo! We leave them 3 days to 'disinfect'. My Tommee Tippee Prep machine turned up today

Kj1010 · 05/08/2020 14:11

I wanna get a prep machine looks so good I had a peek at 4d on my gender scan and tbh didn't like it so I wont be getting one I will keep that bit the surprise for wen he is born lol

kkr168 · 05/08/2020 14:32

@kj1010 I also had a sneak peak at my 16 week private scan, babys face was hidden though so didn't see much. I've only booked the 4d scan as it will be the 1st time my DH has seen the baby, he couldn't attend the 16 week one due to work & wasn't allowed to attend the NHS scans, I've booked this scan for a Sunday so that he can 100% attend.

Kj1010 · 05/08/2020 14:36

@kkr168 that's lovely for use yes same here oh hasn't been able to attend any scans only time his seen baby is at the gender scan I have three more scans though so hoping they let him in to one of them but not holding my breath

nearlyamummyof2boys · 05/08/2020 15:54

Just been having a look on this site rexlondon.com some lovely stuff and they're having a sale - they have these tissue boxes (always handy) that are safari theme and they're a £1

I had a 4D I didn't ask for it but the lady did it for free I wasn't a massive fan but I know people love them and it's another chance to see the baby which is always nice ❤️💙💓
