6 weeks @Homassy! Yay ☺️
I've been so tired all week. It was my main early symptom with DD. When I'm at home I'm having a mid afternoon nap! At work, I'm trying to keep eyes open at my desk! 🙈😳 Have also been heading to bed with tv by 8.30 most nights. 😂

Hello, just quietly sneaking in from the TTC 35+ thread after BFP yesterday. I’ve now done 3 and all positive so it seems a bit real! EDD would also be 7.04.21 like a couple of others here. Feeling a bit anxious on a number of counts and will need to read up on the antenatal care regime as have only been in this country for 18 months. Just tired mostly here and a busy few months ahead at work.
My only symptom was a sudden decision to quit alcohol and caffeine to try to improve TTC chances - this was 2 days before BFP!

Congratulations @Wavesandsmilesagain 🎉

Going off alcohol was my first sign with my DS - although didn't realise until later.

Hi @Wavesandsmilesagain welcome to the group
@kwastell great news on your 3+ that must be reassuring.

Hope everyone is having a good Monday! I am back to work today after a week off last week. So far feeling very good today which has been good, no nausea and not too tired today! 😁

Hey all!

Just coming to join (from TTC 35+ thread) as got BFP on Friday at 12/13DPO so I think I’m now 4 weeks and 3?

Still can’t really believe it after 15 cycles!
Tried to phone for first midwife appointment this afternoon but they are only open in the mornings.

Had a horrible sleep last night, was in lots of pain with cramps and couldn’t get comfy. Was convinced something was going wrong but no bleed so hopefully just things expanding!

Congrats everyone!

I feel the same about the weird cramps. Has anyone managed to relax and enjoy it yet?

@kwastell nope! Still anxious! 5w tomorrow. This has been a very long 10 days (since BFP) and now have pink tinged mucus when I wipe 😕. Think I may have irritated cervix when checking it 🙈 hopefully that's all 🤞🏻 Also have cramps. Hating this. No pregnancy joy here yet whatsoever.

Oh it’s such a hard one. I really want to be positive and have avoided posting some worries as I don’t want to bring our lovely thread down but i think like you guys it’s hard to enjoy and I worry about every cramp and constantly on knicker watch. Someone wise said to me on the conception thread that a lone is better than no line and I try and remember that. Group (socially distant and unmumsnetty) hugs all round Flowers

Thanks @Homassy. Will try not to post too many worries!

@lastditchattempt20 nooo! Definitely share your worries because I think most of us are feeling them too. I don’t know how long the golden time is between the joy of the bfp and the fear setting in - five minutes?!

How are everyone’s symptoms today? I’m getting waves of nausea but no sickness. Exhaustion is the main one

Homassy · 05/08/2020 06:45

@kwastell how funny it was you! It helped me , thanks Grin.

Major anxiety here too! And I suspect this will last a long time. For now I’m glad that I am busy with work, a helpful distraction.

Symptoms here: massively tired, nausea but no sickness and each time I sneeze I get a real pull in my lower stomach. Oh and I’ve got a major aversion to tea (usually my staple drink)

For some reason I'm feeling a lot better at the moment. I don't know why. I figure if I have another miscarriage I've coped before, I'll cope this time. Maybe it's because I started down the ivf route (then got pregnant before anything actually happened) so feel like I have a back up plan.

I am hating work at the moment, so it could be that distracting me.

I'm sorry everyone is worried though. I agree with @Homassy - share your worries - that's why we're here.

How is the pink tinged discharge @lastditchattempt20? Hopefully it was just an irritated cervix.

I tried to do the cervix checking thing but couldn't work out what it was doing!

Morning. No more pink for now- suspect it might reappear when my bowels get moving 🙈 Nervous about ectopic due to age and previous surgery on ovaries- if any severe pain will be off to EPAU!

Hi, do you mind if I take a tentative step onto here? I got a very faint line on a CB yesterday. AF isn't actually due until tomorrow but I definitely feel very pregnant. I'm 42, have 2 children, one 24 and then one who is 23 months. I've had multiple miscarriages before my youngest and had a chemical two months ago.

I have decided not to test again until AF is officially late as the faintness of the test yesterday sent me off into a massive state of anxiety. I hopefully will be able to join you guys properly in a few days!

Still just yellow/clear CM so far- word of advice ladies, don't go 'rummaging' in there 😂🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Report
lastditchattempt20 · 05/08/2020 11:22

Hi @kirinm! If I could have waited I would advise it, unless you're using cheapies. Think CB aren't v sensitive pre AF either. The test you use can make a big difference- the difference in result between my IC strip and a FRER at 10DPO was significant.
