I finally had a call back from Midwife team today who have booked me in for my booking appointment in 2 weeks time, which will be done by phone, then she said 2-4 weeks after that they will do bloods and first scan. They think I’m 8-9 weeks pregnant due to last period and my symptoms. So I guess my scan and bloods will be done between 12-14 weeks. She really sounded like she couldn’t have cared less. 😏
@Kelsie13sorry to hear about today’s test, I really hope it’s just a faulty test and that you can get an appointment at the early testing unit.
Hope everyone is feeling ok today. I’ve felt rotten yesterday and today again.

@Kelsie13 so sorry you must be very worried. Were the lines strong? Could it have been a very early new loss? Let’s hope for a weird test or dilute urine. It’s rubbish for you

I haven’t contacted the midwife yet. Feels like tempting fate or something . I’ve booked a private scan at 8 weeks (now just less than 6) and will try and contact midwife next week

Lines have been getting darker this week so thot yeah it’s progressing , hoping it’s just a faulty test , my doctors aren’t interested, if I’m still unsure Monday I’ll try phone again , it’s not doing my mental state any good being in limbo , hope everyone else is ok xx

Can I join? I’m 38 and just got my BFP. If little bean sticks I’ll be due 10th April.

Hi @Sexnotgender and anyone else I've missed. @Kelsie13 sorry you're anxious. I feel worried everyday but am trying to accept that it is all completely out of my hands and what will be will be. Very hard to do though. Thinking of you.
4w2d here....time is going sloowly... Has anyone done a CB weeks indicator or are they a bad idea?

@lastditchattempt20 you need to be quite far alone for the clear blue ones , if you are getting strong positives on others it should be fine , I’ve found prev they are not the most sensitive

@Homassy I feel the same. Haven't called midwife yet. Will leaving it until 7w (after private's can 🤞🏻) be too late for them?

@lastditchattempt20 I used the digital ones to “check” the numbers were progressing. Honestly I don’t think it’s a good idea, none of it makes us feel better/less anxious but I couldn’t practice what I preach! I think calling midwife after 7 weeks should be fine. It depends on local services but I had to wait a couple of weeks to see midwife and they booked my twelve week scan then

I've done the weeks indicators @lastditchattempt20 - got the right numbers so was happy. But have got numbers too low in the past and it's sent me into a right mess.

I've got the midwife booked for in 2 weeks. I've avoided booking it in the past but just did it this time - not sure why.

Feeling more positive the last few days.

@lastditchattempt20 I did a clear blue digital yesterday at 14dpo and got pregnant 1-2 weeks.

Woke up to heavy bleeding this morn , so back to square one for me !! Trying to get pregnant and then stay pregnant is the most stressful thing I’ve ever done !! Hope everyone else has a happy pregnancy xx

Oooph. So symptoms seemed to have kicked in. I'm just 6 weeks and suddenly half asleep and crawling through mud. Crampy plans and bit sick and dizzy. How are you guys getting along. So glad not to be heavily pregnant in the hot weather

Boob pain is in full force here after worrying I didn't have any the other day. Feeling generally pregnant with a short temper and stretchy cramps feelings.

Yes, we could have timed this well not to be pregnant in hot weather.

All my pregnancies have been winter ones! I’ve got a January baby and a February baby. Couldn’t hack being enormous in the heat.

@Homassy I’ve never ever felt so exhausted 😴 other symptoms some days are really full on and I struggle my way through the day and then the next day I feel pretty normal except the extreme tiredness. I agree I will be so glad not to have a big bump in Summer. Congrats on 6 weeks 🎉
