@LottieDot yes I had the same one sidedtwinges, on the right, last night! Then spent most of the evening googling "how painful is ectopic pregnancy pain" 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I have my early scan tomorrow and it can't come soon enough.

Babafarmer · 27/07/2020 21:33

@LottieDot I also had one sided pain that for worse when I went to the toilet. I have a scan last week to rule out ectopic and it was fine xx

Sussexbysea · 27/07/2020 21:34

@LottieDot I regularly get twinges and dull aches on the right or aches in general in that area. Or if I stand up to quick or laugh/sneeze then I get a pulling sensation.

It’s apparently all normal and I had it with my daughter. The pulling sensation lasted for some time. It’s just your body stretching and gettinv ready for Something a little larger.

But, if you are ever in any doubt, contact your midwife or GP if you aren’t booked in with them yet xx

Very very tentatively posting here. I’m 7+3 today, due on March 12 by my dates which may or may not be accurate given that last month I had an early loss.
I have a scan on Thursday at the EPU due to previous losses (3 in 11 months) so hoping this is a sickly one. I had a slight bit of pink this morning that really worried me but nothing since and my symptoms are all still very strong.
I’ve been reading this thread since the start of the previous thread but I’ve been reluctant to post given my history.
I’ll be 42 when I’m due. I have two older kids, youngest will be almost 13 by then! DP also has two, his youngest will be almost 11. This will, all going well, be our first together.

@Headingtowardsforty I’m sorry for your loss. I know exactly how you are feeling. Don’t make any decision yet on trying again, give yourself a bit of time. Hard I know when time isn’t on your side Flowers

@Sh4mmy fingers and toes are crossed for you for Wednesday, I really hope you get good news. It’s a horrible place to be in for you at the moment but at least Wednesday isn’t too far away. Flowers

I hope everyone else is well, this first trimester is a very anxious time.

Sussexbysea · 28/07/2020 07:19

Morning everyone,

How are you all doing?

Today, it’s my booking in appointment. It feels like I’ve reached a huge milestone just reaching this point. Does/ has anyone else felt like this?

I have an obstetrics appointment next week too. Shortly after that, I should have my scan too.

I remember thinking when I had my daughter how quickly time goes but before we all know it it’ll be Christmas and then it’ll be March. Xx

@Sussexbysea good luck with your appointment!

That’s so true, my appointment isn’t until the 20th August then scan the 2nd September so I feel like they are so far away. I’m still furloughed so nothing to occupy my time either.

I woke up feeling a bit ‘hungover’ this morning, was scared to get up incase it made me feel worse. Got up for some ginger biscuits hopefully that helps. I’ve been moaning that I have no symptoms but looks like the sickness is kicking in.

Clara9 · 28/07/2020 08:18

@Bearcub01 - that’s exactly how I describe being pregnant to people who ask! It’s like being hungover!

@Sussexbysea Hope everything goes well. Only starting to feel real now. Have my scan next week and just want the time to pass as quickly as possible.

Sh4mmy · 28/07/2020 08:27

Morning everyone

@Sussexbysea good luck today lovely, please let us know how you get on!

@TheFoz thank you, it's a horrible time and I've woken up feeling upset and deflated! If all hoes well I'll also be 42 when I'm due! Good luck for your scan on Thursday

Xx

EmzG20 · 28/07/2020 08:31

I know everyone's symptoms are different but when did your morning sickness start to kick in. I'm 6 weeks today

Connell1991 · 28/07/2020 08:40

Congratulations all! I'm currently 9 weeks with number 2. Due 2nd March.

LuHen · 28/07/2020 08:41

My sickness feels just like a hangover too! It started around 6 weeks and is always worse in the morning until late afternoon. If I'm not exercising or eating I feel pretty horrific and just want to lie down.

Sending heaps of good vibes to anyone having a scan or apt soon xxx

Bearcub01 · 28/07/2020 08:41

@EmzG20 I’m 7 weeks now and only just starting to feel a bit sicky

Sussexbysea · 28/07/2020 08:44

This morning I’ve got a horrible taste in my mouth. My boobs are getting more sore each day. My nausea was bad in the morning so I stopped taking my pregnacare in the morning and now I take it with my evening meal. Starting to feel better

OP posts:
BabySweet85 · 28/07/2020 08:48

@Bearcub01 hungover is exactly how I feel too - I have felt it the last two days and I am 7 weeks tomorrow.

@Sussexbysea good luck with your booking in appointment!

I have my 7 week scan tomorrow. I am an IVF pregnancy so still being monitored by my clinic.

Oldermum80 · 28/07/2020 08:48

@TheFoz I’ll be just shy of 41. My eldest is 18 and youngest will be 16 just after my due date Blush
I always wanted another but didn’t want this huge gap! I didn’t meet my new partner until I was 37 though and we have had two losses since December last year. First child for my partner so hopefully this one will work out.

Sh4mmy · 28/07/2020 08:56

@Oldermum80 it's nice to see someone else with older kids too, mine are 16,15 and 7! I'm dreading telling my older 2! This will be
My OH's first baby....as long as things don't go wrong 😢

Sh4mmy · 28/07/2020 08:58

@Sussexbysea aww your symptoms are sounding super positive lovely

Oldermum80 · 28/07/2020 09:00

@Sh4mmy I am very close to my daughter so told her when I fell pregnant the last two times, as I felt she should know before anyone else. She cried with the first...not with happiness though! I think it was shock but she came round to the idea quickly though. She keeps asking me if we are trying again, but this time we haven’t told anyone expect my sister. I’m waiting until I get an early scan as I know how it upset everyone the last two times. If it doesn’t work out again then I’ll need some support but I didn’t want them to have to go through it all and worry themselves too.

Sh4mmy · 28/07/2020 09:03

@Oldermum80 ah that's nice! I'm really close to my daughter as well but she's only just turned 15 and this summer has been a bit crazy for her so far! I think I might tell her though as I'm not sure what's happening, need more tests as a result of my scan yesterday! I'm super emotional today so think she should know as she knows I'm not right xx

Sussexbysea · 28/07/2020 09:07

@Sh4mmy oh I know. But I’m so aware of how quick things can change though. I’m being positive but cautious too

OP posts:
Sussexbysea · 28/07/2020 09:12

@Sh4mmy how you feeling today? When are your next bloods and scan?

OP posts:
Shep1808 · 28/07/2020 09:16

Im new here and just came across this thread.
I found out I was pregnant after 1 round of Clomid and my estimated due date is March 29th. My HCG levels yesterday at 5 weeks were 2000 yet my doctor couldn't see a sac in the ultrasound. He is a little concerned it may be ectopic although my levels more than doubled every 2 days last week. Has this happened to anyone else yet?

Sh4mmy · 28/07/2020 09:54

@Sussexbysea yep I get that, fingers crossed for today! What time is your scan again?

I'm really emotional today and very snappy....I'm kinda feeling like this is my fault because I was so shocked when I found out I was pregnant and freaked out but I've now got my head around it and want it so bad!!

How are you feeling xx

Sh4mmy · 28/07/2020 09:56

Hi @Shep1808 welcome to the group! Im going through something similar, according to my dates I should be 7 weeks but had an early scan yesterday where they saw the sack but no heartbeat, the sac was measuring about 4/5 weeks! My HCG level is 1000 and so I need to have more bloods tomorrow!

When are your next tests xx

Shep1808 · 28/07/2020 10:01

Friday I go on to get the results if my blood test and another ultrasound. So far my hcg is doubling so if this is consistent this week hopefully doc can rule out ectopic.

I wish you all the best xx
