How did it go @Gab101. Lots of ❤️ and hugs for you today

Gab101 · 29/07/2020 21:53

@mrsmummy1111 thanks for asking ♥️ it went ok, they had to remove my left Fallopian tube which is so heartbreaking. But I'm ok, in a lot of pain in my stomach because of the gas they pump you with and the incisions but hopefully it all starts to ease off soon. The nurses are amazing x

ohbaby3 · 29/07/2020 22:38

I can't believe how quickly things took a turn @Gab101
Really genuinely am so sorry and am in awe of how well you seem to be handling it.

When you feel ready, and of course if you wouldn't mind, pls share your story. In the meantime, get lots of rest and try to stay positive. ThanksThanksThanks

HollowayL30 · 30/07/2020 11:13

So today I went to the loo and there was a tiny bit of blood very pale, I freaked out and took my other digital test and this one says "not pregnant " now I'm freaking out 😂
Last week I defiantly said pregnant and now I'm thinking am I having an early miscarriage? X

Tiff94 · 30/07/2020 11:29

@HollowayL30 contact the hospital or early pregnancy unit at the hospital they will probably get you in to check you out. I wish you all the best. I'm praying for you xxx

mrsmummy1111 · 30/07/2020 11:57

Ok don't freak out @HollowayL30 but I would definitely call the maternity assessment unit at the hospital and ask them what to do. Fingers crossed everything is ok!

HollowayL30 · 30/07/2020 13:27

Thank you all, I called and they said to do another test in a week. Xx

Tiff94 · 30/07/2020 13:46

@HollowayL30 have you had more bleeding since or only a small amount ?

OP posts:
HollowayL30 · 30/07/2020 14:35

I'm still having light blood, no cramps or anything but part of me knows that it is chemical. In my head I'm
Thankful it's happening now rather than later on 🙂 xx

Milliemoo222 · 30/07/2020 14:36

Hi all, so I rang my doctors the other day but was not allowed an appointment (covid) so have a telephone call tomorrow. I have signed up to my local hospital but they said they are not doing scans... Will obviously be subject to changes but I am a little worried I will miss a scan. I have some private health cover through work, how has everyone gone about booking these early private scans please? Feel a little confused!
Oh and grapes and yogurt was NOT what my body wanted for breakfast! 😷 been lightheaded and nausea is not fun currently!

Tiff94 · 30/07/2020 14:40

@HollowayL30 I'm sorry to hear this. It definitely is better now then later. Try rest up I've heard of women before still bleeding and continuing on to be pregnant. Best of luck hun xx

@Milliemoo222 I've got a scanned bookes for end of sept so I started looking private. I found a place online they do private scans from 6 weeks for £79 I'm booking one to have done around 13/14 August. They will more then likely do a vaginal one not the abdominal as at 6 weeks it can be too early. I will post the link for you to check out. I've got phone app book for sept 1 with midwife but I want to do something earlier and also with covid I've been told only I can go to the scan were as now when we go private DH can come to which will be the only one he can come to unless covid situation changes.

@Tiff94 thank you so so much! Yeah I told DH today he will probably not be able to come in so we should get a private one. Will be our first so I really want him as involved and he would be so sad to not go!
I have not had a call or letter to confirm when my booking will be, but I was sure that I read that at the 10-12 week was normal timing wise. I just want to see :)
Is it also classed as 6 weeks, counting from the first day of last AF in terms of pregnancy weeks? My CB shows 1-2 weeks, but that is likely conception not say dating wise? So much to learn with online covid services Smile lucky to have spoken to you all! Thank you!

Tiff94 · 30/07/2020 15:14

@Milliemoo222 yes that was exactly me I felt bad thinking DH couldn't come this is our first too so I really want him to be there. Yes that's from last mensural start day. When I go on the 13/14 I will only be 4weeks post ovulation but 6 weeks from 28june LMSD

OP posts:
Milliemoo222 · 30/07/2020 15:38

@Tiff94 I just had a midwife call about an initial appointment to get information to then be referred to the hospital for scans, but that booking app is not until 7th Sept!
Dh was a bit sad he could not come to that so I will see if I can book a scan in for that week to make him a part of it. Such weird times, feel bad but we will all make the most of it all!

Tiff94 · 30/07/2020 15:43

@Milliemoo222 yeah I had a call from the midwife last week recieved both apps one on phone sept 1 and then scan on 24sept but we definitely going to do the private one at 6weeks just to reassure myself and let hubby come. If done the line he still can't come I may go back private and do another there are 4D scans later on where you can see whole baby 👶

Milliemoo222 · 30/07/2020 20:58

Thank you @Tiff94!
I have not got a scan date at all, I have to go on the 7th to talk and have a general app and then they will get me a scan date. Funny how things are always so different!
Got doctors call tomorrow for a chat so I will pick their brains Grin I am shattered!

npn1989 · 30/07/2020 21:56

Hi ladies! Just found this thread after testing positive earlier today. Havent used mumsnet since I was pregnant with my son 2 years ago! So itll take a bit of getting used to the site again but it was soooo helpful having this site with my last pregnancy. I think I'm due early April but probably will need an elective CS so I'm assuming if all goes to plan pregnancy-wise I'd have the baby late March. Hope you're all feeling okay. I have no symptoms other than the odd tender feeling in my boobs which took me right back to my breastfeeding days haha. Otherwise no symptoms. It was the same last time too x

HollowayL30 · 31/07/2020 07:14

Hello girls, so it turned into a full bleed, I'm fine, it was the first month of trying and to be honest I only had my coil out last month so could just be my body isn't ready yet. I'm going to wait and have a full period before we try after this bleed but do I class now as my period? Just so I can track ovulation for the future and next couple of months. I love reading this post and can't wait to see all your updates Xx

Lettie365 · 31/07/2020 07:36

Hi Ladies, may I tentatively join please. I got my BFP yesterday and AF is due on Sunday. I’m 34, this was our first cycle TTC #3 so we were very lucky to catch straight away. We have an 8yr old DD and a 7yr old DS.

@Gab101 I’m so very sorry to hear what you’ve been through this past week. I hope you’re home and managing to rest up. I hope you have a supportive OH and give yourself time to process what’s been going on xx
@HollowayL30 also very sorry to hear your news. I would count the day you started bleeding as CD1. All the best for your next cycle
X

Noneyerbuisness11234 · 31/07/2020 08:14

Hi @Lettie365 congratulations

Aww@HollowayL30 soo sorry to hear that when I got my implant out with ttc my first they z i wouldn't have a ovulation cycle the same for at least 6 months so do track it I ovulate day the end of my cycle but conceived after 3 months so good luck Thanks

Tiff94 · 31/07/2020 08:35

Welcome @Lettie365 @npn1989 glad to have you both here xx

@HollowayL30 wishing you all the best for next cycle. I'd class it as cd1 as @Lettie365 said. All the best for next cycle.
