I’m due Feb 3rd! 😁 I can’t wait. I’ve had 2 scans, my 20 wk one last week and found out it’s a boy!! I’m so happy ☺️
I reckon there’s a high chance he’ll come in January though as my DD was born nearly 36 wks. I had obstetric cholestasis so she had to be induced. Very likely to have it again unfortunately but fingers crossed all goes well 🤞🏻🙂

Congratulations by the way ☺️

I'm sorry to hear you were poorly with this first, I do hope you dont have it this time! :(

With my first i 'just knew' it was girl from about 6 weeks, but this time round I have no gut feelings at all so suspect it may be a boy!

Vee1502 · 25/09/2020 04:41

Welcome @OnNaturesCourse and @BlueRose18 ! Congratulations!

@Char41zam I know! Every bit of movement
I have felt today, however less than the past few days, has definitely been a source of relief. Hope it's better today for both of us 😀

@Safxxx yeah keep telling myself that just so
I don't go mad with worry! Thing is the reduced movements have been accompanied by greatly reduced discharge (hardly any) so it's got me worried a bit, but like I said every bit of movement I have felt has definitely been relieving.

Safxxx · 25/09/2020 06:29

@BlueRose18 Congrats ❤ hope all goes well and in due time. Xx
@OnNaturesCourse hope you get what you want, I would like a girl this time, and I'm guessing might be a girl too. Can t wait till confirmation, I might be wrong but hope we all have a healthy child and a healthy smooth pregnancy & birth that's what realy matters. Xx

@Vee1502 Awe bless You, I've had reduced discharge too, don't worry about it.
I know how reassuring it is to have regular movements, when I stress I usually go in diffrent positions and prod my belly.around and I feel the baby move, that usually puts my mind to rest. But as I said it's not regular patterns, maybe while your busy baby is moving but your not feeling it, that too can happen. When I'm doing nothing or relaxing that's when I feel it most. Try not to worry I'm sure all is fine Xxx

BlueRose18 · 25/09/2020 08:34

@OnNaturesCourse Yes it was the same for me. I knew my first was a girl I just had that gut feeling but this time had no feeling and it’s a boy.

babydust2412 · 25/09/2020 08:46

@Safxxx I still had to pay for my scan pictures, which I think is a little ridiculous at times like these ☹️ x

Really! I've not had to pay for any of them so far, even the early scans I had before 12 weeks Sad

Safxxx · 25/09/2020 09:01

@babydust2412 that's ridiculous, mine charge £10 I really hope they spare me again 😲

Safxxx · 25/09/2020 09:08

I'm driving quite alot due to further then home school runs, shopping etc I notice my pelvic area gets quite stiff, I put a support pillow behind my back and a small one around my tummy so the belt don't dig in. Oh and those dreaded speed bumps everywhere uugghh they shake all my insides lol no matter how slow I go over them.
But yeah I do suffer from achy pelvic area bought on by driving and if I'm busy running around. Once I sit and relax or low down I'm ok. Xxx

BlueRose18 · 25/09/2020 09:54

@babydust2412 it’s a boy?? Congrats 😊 thought of any names yet?
My 2 faves at the moment are Eli and Jasper

I loved Jasper too! But we've decided on Finley now, we did like Harrison but knew it would be shortened to Harry by people and it doesn't sound right with our surname 😂

babydust2412 · 25/09/2020 14:24

@FruitLoopyLoo @Safxxx you're so lucky you didn't have to pay! I paid £13 for 4 photos it's ridiculous, how else did they expect me to show my partner our baby 😂 xx
Jasper is a lovely name, we've chosen his name already and it's going to be Avery 💙

@FruitLoopyLoo Finley is an adorable name💙

Joining in here after lurking for a while. 19 weeks today, 20 week scan on Wednesday! We've been for a private scan and found out we're expecting a little girl! It's all so exciting (FTM)
@FruitLoopyLoo Finley was our boy name! It's lovely 💙
Not felt any movement and I don't have a bump to speak of yet but baby happy kicking away during scans and everything seems to be okay so I'm trying to sit patiently... Whilst getting a little green over friends gorgeous bumps who are around the same stage as me.
Has anyone else had a symptom free pregnancy? I'm thankful for it now but it made for a uncertain time up until the 12 week scan, I was so worried that things weren't as they should be.
@BlueRose18 Eli was in our boy name list too!
@babydust2412 Can't believe you had to pay for your scan photos, that's terrible! Especially as partners aren't allowed in, it makes the photos even more precious ❤️

Safxxx · 25/09/2020 18:58

@Harehopper234 Awe congrats lovely your having a baby girl ❤
I'm sure after 20wks things will pick up and you will feel the baby and Hopefuly gain a bump 🤰🏻

BlueRose18 · 25/09/2020 19:40

@babydust2412 Why did you have to pay for scan photos? Was it not on nhs? I’ve never heard of that before

babydust2412 · 25/09/2020 20:20

@Harehopper234 welcome and congratulations on your little girl that's so lovely 💕 Your bump will pop soon don't worry, mine wasn't there at all then all of a sudden one day it was just so obviously there 😂😂
@BlueRose18 you have to pay at my hospital to get pictures printed from the scan, it is NHS so I'm not sure why but they count it as an extra you pay for, I think it's ridiculous especially with COVID ☹️

@babydust2412 omg wow. Is our healthcare slowly turning into America? That’s crazy! Not just in COVID it just is in general 😳

Safxxx · 25/09/2020 21:05

@BlueRose18 I'm with a NHS hospital too, yet they charge £10 for the photo. At my 12wk scan I was told of the charge on my letter. When i went they said as were not allowing anyone to accompany you we are offering free photos.
So I'm hoping at my 20wk scan they will not charge either 🤞

BlueRose18 · 25/09/2020 21:13

@Safxxx £10?? I can’t believe I never heard about this before. Lucky you got yours free. When is your 20wk scan? So far they’re still not allowing anyone to accompany you (that’s assuming it’s nationwide, not just in my area) so fingers crossed you’ll get free again on your 20wk 😉

Safxxx · 25/09/2020 21:34

@BlueRose18 My 20wk scan is on 5th October. But hearing babydust was charged for hers makes me think I'll be charged too. Will see what happens. Yeah I've heard need to attend alone, but I will ring them closer to time and ask In case hubby is allowed. Xxx

Muriel84 · 25/09/2020 22:17

Had my 20 week scan yesterday! Took nearly two hours and I had to have two internal scans which was fun to measure cervix and then check for haematoma. All fine though. Lovely profile pic of baby! Averted our eyes when they checked the gender. It was surprisingly hard not to peek! 😂

My partner was allowed and we weren’t charged for photos so I guess it varies a lot. He’s not been allowed to come for my clinic appointments though. Xxx

Safxxx · 26/09/2020 05:37

@Muriel84 Awe that's lovely you got to take your partner with You, and not be charged for photos...... so you know what your having 🤔 Xxx
