@Hagster @Hoping2020 @AnxiousLady1*@Whiffle77 @MOGMOGMOG85* Thanks all. It probably was confusing to read, I was a bit babbling!
Scan and appointment all went fine, although they picked up (missed at 20 week scan) that I have placenta praevia... So my next scan has been brought forward to 34 weeks and we'll see what happens then. If it's still too low I'll be booked in for a section at 37 weeks... So a bit of a curve ball! Was really happy that placenta is actually working better than at 20 weeks, and that growth seems good. As for the birth, what needs to happen will happen. Hoping to avoid a section but if that's what's needed to keep us safe, then obviously that's great that they spotted it. She's still not moving as much today, but they were happy with everything so she's just having a bit of quiet time. She's also moved to transverse, so maybe that's why I'm not feeling as much.
@bananamuffin99 Really hope they are supportive of your choice. From my experience of me and friends, it's just something you know is right for you, whichever way your head leads you. I'm terrified of a section, even after a traumatic first vaginal birth, I can't explain it at all, it just really scares me. Even though I've never heard of someone having a bad elective section. For many others it's the other way around. And all of those feelings and valid and should be listened to.
@MOGMOGMOG85 Sorry it's stressful for you. I had exactly the same, really didn't feel strong movements until about 24 weeks. Very stressful. Sounds like you're definitely feeling things, but it's so worrying, especially when it feels late to be getting those patterns. Also when you have so much other stuff going on! I hope work realise their responsibilities and stop messing you around. Do go in and hear the heartbeat if you think it would help. I can't help on the MAT1B, I'm self employed, so need to do mine asap, (I"m quite late but didn't get it until late) and also need to pay my NI to make sure it's up to date first. Job for this week!
@bananamuffin99 I didn't have a scan at 28 weeks, but also remember that the weight is normalised for you. So, my son was always measuring 'big', but was told actually for me, he was 65th centile, as I'm not that short or slight. So if the Dr is saying it's ok, it's maybe because for you, she's doing fine, and isn't too low on the chart? I Hope that makes sense. I feel really tired today!
