Okay I'm still super nervous but time to take the plunge and started a Grad bus for the recent BFPs from the main thread. According to NHS calculator I'm due 18th March and it's #1 for me 😬

@Dipsy77 yeah I've got my next weeks digi booked in for next Wednesday 👌🏾 how are you feeling? x

@Noble89 yeah it makes such a difference when you don't have an admin team, and we have to book in touch point at least every couple weeks and during COVID when so much got stuck at vals I'd be calling like 30 people in my pipeline each week before I even started new apps 😴 anyway keeps us busy and distracted I guess... yay to getting your digi 👌🏾 I didn't actually realise that the weeks ones are more sensitive than the normal digis and pick it up from 10mIU/ml so nearly as sensitive as FRER, so nice seeing it in writing 🙌🏾 I've promised myself I'll only do one more FRER, 2 cheapies and another CB weeks then I'll stop 😑 when do you think you'll hear about your early scan? x

OP posts:
Noble89 · 14/07/2020 08:32

@SmileyT definitely. It's so nice for me because once the application is done I never have to touch it again unless there's a problem.

I'll work my way through what I have left. I raised the bathroom cupboard of doom this morning where I've chucked all the tests in. I've got one FRER left, a CB early detection and two more CB weeks indicators. I'll do the frer tomorrow then time the digis to get the 2-3 then 3+ progression then stop.

I've not even told the docs yet. I have a weird thing in my head that I need to get past my AF due date before I do. I think I'll call Friday to start the process. Sheffield said I need an early scan at 7-8 weeks so I assume that's what I'll get. I might call the EPU direct rather than faffing about with my GP.

Cocoblue22 · 14/07/2020 09:59

@SmileyT woohoo to the CB 🎉I haven't done another one yet maybe I will tomorrow! X

@Noble89 woohoo 🎉 do your CB too x

LittleRa · 14/07/2020 10:59

Morning all! Congrats on the digis! I might get one later today.

I’ve received the info from my doctor’s surgery and it’s got info for phoning the midwife team at the local hospital (there isn’t a birth unit there but guessing community midwives are based there) to make booking in appointment before between 8-10 weeks.

I’m still feeling ok, bit bloated and quite hungry! Hope you’re all doing well this morning.

Dipsy77 · 14/07/2020 13:13

@SmileyT I'm feeling ok thanks I'm really tired and hungry, I haven't really felt that sick yet but I'm expecting that around the 6 week mark. My boobs aren't really sore just niggling a bit, I really want more symptoms to start because that's how I knew something wasn't right last time because they kept coming and going although that was at 9 weeks and as I'm only 5 I'm sure they will start soon. I spoke to my gp and I have a phone appointment with the midwife in 2 weeks time, how about you How are you feeling ? Xx

SmileyT · 14/07/2020 18:14

@Noble89 getting past AF date is a good point to call Drs, think I'm 7days ahead of you so your scan will be around the same time as me at the beginning of August ☺️ because I found out at 6w and had my first scan 4 days later this month seems so long.

@Cocoblue22 yes test tomorrow so I can get hyped about somebody else's test and stop testing myself 🙈

@LittleRa you sound so calm I need this ✌🏾

@Dipsy77 was you sick with your other DC? I was sick about a week ago and just have random moments I think I might be sick but apart from that feeling okay, not sure how good that is x

Guys I’ve cracked and ordered some maternity clothes 😬😍 I hope it’s not tempting fate!! There’s a sale on ASOS and I got a dress perfect for Christmas (when we’ll be, what, 4-5 months?) reduced from £48 to £12.50! Plus some maternity leggings and some dungarees and a jumpsuit 🙈

Dipsy77 · 14/07/2020 18:33

@SmileyT yes I had sickness from about 6/7 weeks and I did with the MMC but from about 4 weeks. I have to use my bands when it's in full swing I know it's awful but I really want it to start. I was so tired this afternoon I couldn't function was so hard trying to look after dd luckily she was a little star today and she is sound asleep now so I'm watching temple then it's bed for me xx

SmileyT · 14/07/2020 18:37

@LittleRa I feel like I want to change your name to little ray of sunshine, I actually might look at some stuff tonight as my work dresses are so tight with the bloat, probs not full mat stuff but with a little more give 😂

@Dipsy77 ahh I'm sure when it hits you'll be wishing it away again x

Cocoblue22 · 14/07/2020 18:42

@SmileyT okay you've twisted my arm I'll test tomorrow! X

@LittleRa sounds like a great shop! I've ordered some too off a website called serenity which kept popping up on fb....not sure what it's like yet I'll let ya know! X

@Dipsy77 I'm mainly feeling tired and hungry and perhaps a tad grumpy but that's probs because I'm tired and hungry and now trying not to eat so much because I already gained lockdown weight 🙄 x

Noble89 · 15/07/2020 08:25

Morning ladies! I did my last frer this morning and I think it's officially time to stop testing every day and let the doctor know I'm pregnant 😊

I've got 2 more CB weeks indicators to do which I'll try and time to get my 2-3 and 3+ to keep my mind at ease but by the time I get the 3+ I should only be 2 or 3 weeks away from my early scan.

@Cocoblue22 did you do your Digi?

July Bus Graduates ❤️
Cocoblue22 · 15/07/2020 08:59

@Noble89 great line progression 👍🏻 x

I've also used my last FRER this morning and it's a really strong line! I also used my CB and got 2-3 weeks so @SmileyT you will be happy 🎉!

I've attached this a pic of this mornings tests and my line progression! Only one more CB to save for next week then I think I'll stop as I won't have any more left!

Hope everyone is good this morning x

SmileyT · 15/07/2020 09:38

@Cocoblue22 @Noble89 yes to the digi and the line progression 👌🏾 I feel like as you lot are being sensible and will stop testing I should too 🤣 I bought the 4 pack of FRER as thought it would last me a few months, so I've got 2 more FRER but just going to do one this weekend to confirm it isn't a chemical and then I'll do my last CB weeks on Monday so that I can get 3+ then I'm done hopefully 💁🏾‍♀️

I'm really tempted to book another early scan in for a couple weeks time but not sure if it's going to be too early 🤔

@LittleRa I definitely bought some new work stuff last night 🥰

Noble89 · 15/07/2020 09:40

@Cocoblue22 ahhhh yay for your 2-3 weeks!

I love seeing the line progression. it's the first thing that can give you some peace of mind

Cocoblue22 · 15/07/2020 10:52

@SmileyT haven't you already got an early scan booked in? Mines at 7w1d then I'll wait until 12 week scan at hospital x

SmileyT · 15/07/2020 20:22

@Cocoblue22 yeah I've booked mine for 8w1 but just seems forever away because it's in August so was tempted to get one for 2 weeks before but I'm really hoping I can wait. Yours is the 2 weeks today isn't it? 🥰🥰🥰

OP posts:
Cocoblue22 · 15/07/2020 20:40

@SmileyT yeah mines two weeks today! Still feels ages away I wanted one at 8w but date wise this was the only one that fit we're hoping to tell our parents that weekend providing all goes well! I think if you go earlier than 7 weeks there's a bigger chance of not seeing/hearing heartbeat because it's earlier so I think if I were you id hold out for the 8 weeks then you should definitely see/hear it. I know what you mean about time going sooooo slow though I already feel like I've been pregnant ages and it's only been a week! X

I have been feeling more nauseous this afternoon and also I've been finding I feel soooo bloated in the evenings. I've also noticed when I roll over in the night I get really painful like stitch pain which I think is ligaments stretching feels like an elastic band or like when you pull a muscle that sharp pain it does quickly and happens on both sides depending which way I roll over!! Have any of you been feeling any different? X

SmileyT · 15/07/2020 21:47

@Cocoblue22 ahh it's like another TWW 😂 are you getting an internal scan? yeah I decided to do mine for after the time I had the MC as I saw the HB at 6 and 7 weeks last time and then I think I'll be able to enjoy it a bit more and stop having this negative nancy in the back of my head. I know what you mean about time I only got the BFP last Wednesday but feels like I've been keeping this secret for months 🙈

I've really lost my appetite the last couple days and was retching when I brushed my teeth. Feel like I've had aches and pains all over aswell but not sure if I'm just more aware of my body right now. Oh yeah and feeling much wetter than usual 😂 x

OP posts:
Cocoblue22 · 16/07/2020 07:10

@SmileyT I'm hoping it will be a tummy scan I think they try that first and if they can't do it they do the internal one but I've never had a scan so early before so I'm not too sure. I asked the girls on June bus and they said they had a tummy scan at 7w and could see everything so I'm hoping that's the case just have to go with a very very very full bladder! I keep wanting to tell people or thinking people know already I'm sure they don't though x

Dipsy77 · 16/07/2020 07:12

@Cocoblue22 when I've had early scans it's had to be internal but it's because I've a retroverted uterus so it's hard to find. I think you should be fine for a tummy scan at 7 weeks most people I know who have had early scans haven't had to have internal xx

SmileyT · 16/07/2020 07:41

@Cocoblue22 think it also depends where you go, I think window to the womb do internal scans before 8w but abdominal after that point. Haha one of the scans I had last time when she pushed on my belly I thought I was going to piss myself 😂 can you take OH with you? x

OP posts:
Cocoblue22 · 16/07/2020 09:57

@SmileyT it's a window to the womb one so maybe it is an internal scan we will see although that makes me feel nervous if it is! Yes can take him with me they are letting partners in but both have to wear masks which is fair enough. Do you think the private internal scans are done as safely as the hospital internal scans? X

@Dipsy77 I hope it's a tummy scan I'm nervous now! X

Noble89 · 16/07/2020 10:02

@Cocoblue22 I had an early scan @ 8 weeks with window to the womb last time and it was internal. BUT they did ask me which I wanted. You could always ask for an external and if they can't get a good view they can switch to internal.

I finally called the doctor and told them I'm pregnant 😊. I really felt the need to at least wait till my period is late and it is now so it was time as I've known for almost a week and need to give them time to get stuff booked for me needing extra monitoring.

I have an appointment on Wednesday with a nurse then she sorts out the midwife from there apparently.

Dipsy77 · 16/07/2020 10:12

@Cocoblue22 have you had an internal scan before ?
I've had quite a few and they were fine plus I got to see a clearer picture of baby too just wear a long skirt or maxi dress honestly you will be fine xx
