Okay I'm still super nervous but time to take the plunge and started a Grad bus for the recent BFPs from the main thread. According to NHS calculator I'm due 18th March and it's #1 for me 😬

@Cocoblue22 yeah I did one yesterday at 16dpo and have done way too many cheapies 🙈 I'm doing the CB weeks indicator tomorrow hoping for 2-3 weeks 🤞definitely heard you shouldn't pin everything on them being completely accurate because they have such wide ranges but will be nice for if you say the pregnancy has progressed a bit. Yesterday I woke up at 4am went and put the telly on and fell asleep for nearly 2hours - not so good this morning when I had to get up and go to work 😂 x

@LittleRa I also didn't POAS for the 1st time since my positive, need to get used to just waiting now. How are you feeling?

@Noble89 great news that the specialist says that you should get a scan at 7/8weeks I've booked one for 7w6 🤞 and I filled out the form yesterday to refer to my hospital as the GP just fills out the same form so thought I may aswell cut out the middle man. Ive had a real heaviness down there the last couple days but I do think some of it has been gas/ constipation. I think it's normal to have some twinges around this time 🙏 xx

Hi @SmileyT I’m feeling fine, I’d say a few little twinges and little bit of heartburn/indigestion but no full on cramps or nausea. I’ve emailed the mortgage advisor who I worked with last time and she’s replied to say she remembers me and she’d be have a phone appointment or face to face when she’s back in the office in August. I’ve also made to mistake of looking on Rightmove and of course finding houses I’m interested in but they will definitely go before I could get myself sorted!

Cocoblue22 · 13/07/2020 13:29

@LittleRa yes mine asked the same I think it's protocol that they don't just assume before congratulating you because it could make you feel awkward if you didn't want the pregnancy. After I said yes my receptionist was all happy and giddy too which made me feel good. Does the hospital already know then and the midwife just contact you directly? X

@Noble89 yeah it is good for people to share stories especially when they have a happy ending! And it's great they are taking good care of you and you will get an early scan! So exciting! X

@SmileyT I have an array of tests lined up in my bathroom too 🤣 I feel heavy too. Have attached a pic but haven't took an updated on will later! It's gross how some of the tests go a bit yellow isn't it! They don't all do that! I still have ds from 3 years ago and that isn't yellow! But two of mine have now gone yellow! X

@LittleRa it's all happening for you now new baby and a new house to look forward too! 🎉 x

Congrats everyone :D so glad to see people from the conception group on here!

Can I join? Had a VERY faint positive this morning even though I'm 19 days PO and 4 days late for AF. Spoke to the doctor today and they said do another tomorrow morning but then if it's positive contact the midwife directly, but I don't know how to do that or where to find info, do you call the hospital? I have no idea!

Noble89 · 13/07/2020 14:01

Eeep. Loving the progression photos ladies. I think I'm a little behind the rest of you at 11DPO but I'm adding mine in too because I'm excited 😂.

I think I'll do my last frer tomorrow then I've got 2 CB weeks indicators so I'll do one weds then wait a week to do another.

@SmileyT the twinging has been the last 2-3 days and today I'd have to agree heavy would be a better way to describe it actually.

Omg. I went to boots yesterday and bought the digital tests. The woman serving me asked if I'd like to start an advantage card and I said yes so she gave me the little form to fill in and it asks on there if you want to join the parent club and if so out your due date in. I had a moment of panic as to whether to do that or not with it being so early and she must have noticed me hovering over it so she went 'oh is this you trying to find out if you're pregnant?' I replied and said 'no it's not that, it's just that I only found out this morning and I don't want to get ahead of myself'. She went 'oh, not planned then? Nothing to be ashamed of, you'll love them either way. My daughter went to Cuba for her 21st and came back pregnant and we love him all the same 😂😂😂

@ShellMc2237 welcome lovely 😊

Wow 19DPO? Bub clearly likes to keep you waiting 😂. Did you confirm your ovulation with an OPK or are you just estimating?

I think every area is different. Last time I told my GP who then sorted an appointment with the midwife

SmileyT · 13/07/2020 14:22

@Noble89 I don't know why I find the most shocking thing about that story that you don't have an advantage card already 😂 but also that whole story is hilarious - were you stunned into silence when she said that!? Also love the progression... I can't wait to try my first ever digital pregnancy test tomorrow morning 🙈

@Cocoblue22 my OH said to me 'is the older one yellow because your wee has seeped through' bloody hell the romance is dead already isn't it 😂 I've officially hit that part of the day when I don't feel like I can continue 😴 are you at home with LO? Is he a mental one or quite chilled? xx

@ShellMc2237 hi - not sure if we were on the same thread but welcome anyway 👋 what are you testing with? And did you confirm ovulation? If you've got a faint line at 19dpo I'd guess that maybe you ovulated later than expected, let us know how you get on testing tomorrow. With my hospital you literally just fill out a form I just put the hospital name and maternity referral into google and the form came up ☺️

@LittleRa Noble is a mortgage broker aswell so you can get loads of advice in here, love looking on rightmove, we only moved in November but wish we'd bought less of a doer upper now, I can't be arsed with it 🤪 x

Noble89 · 13/07/2020 14:41

@SmileyT mate I've had about 17 of them. I get the initial points when I sign up then never remember the card so have to get a new one every time 😂. I only signed up again yesterday because she said you can now put it on your phone so I don't need to remember the card and figured I could stock up on points with all the nappies I'm going to have to buy 😂.

Well I stood there in stunned silence for a bit. But then I didn't want her to think I'd gotten accidentally pregnant in Cuba too so gave her my life story 😂. I think she thought I was younger than I am. I've got a baby face so people are always shocked when I tell them I'm 30. I was at a BBQ the other week for my nephew's birthday and one of his little friends Mum caught a glimpse of my engagement ring and went 'eeeeh you're never getting married? I was confused as me and my Oh have been together over 3 years and I've only met this woman a couple of times so I was like yeahhhh? She then asked me how old I was and I told her 30 and she thought I was lying and asked my brother to confirm 😂. She was like omg I thought you were a teenager so I was really surprised to see you engaged 😂😂😂. I was buzzing!

@LittleRa Yep two mortgage advisors on hand here and I used to be an estate agent too so you're in good hands with property related questions on this thread 😂. Me and my OH were planning to move to our forever home early next year, plan was to start the process November/December but as he's been furloughed since March and now bubs is due March 2020 we've decided we're staying put another 2 years. We live in a 3 bed semi now and our mortgage is really cheap so we don't need to move as there's plenty of space. At first we thought let's just get moved into forever home before the baby but now I think I can't be arsed with the hassle and it's probably more sensible to stay here whilst our income is down with me on Mat leave next year

ShellMc2237 · 13/07/2020 15:17

@Noble89 @SmileyT actually have no idea when I ovulated, I don't use OPKs or anything because I would get too obsessed and it would stress me out! My tracker said it was around 24th June but I'm sure I felt a pain on 26th so could have been later which would make me 17 dpo instead. Going to do another tomorrow and see what it says. @Noble89 your progression is so clear I love it!

Noble89 · 13/07/2020 15:28

@ShellMc2237 thank you! I'm loving seeing it get a little clearer every day. Just gives some peace of mind.

My bet would be you ovulated way later than you think. It can happen as a one off. I ovulated CD14 this month but was way late last month on CD20. It would be really unusual to not get a positive till 17/19 DPO so you've almost certainly ovulated much later than your app predicted. When did you last get a negative test?

Cocoblue22 · 13/07/2020 16:42

@Noble89 how nosey of her! Just because you've just found out doesn't mean it's unplanned! Good progression lines going on there! And yeah deffo sign up for parenting club you get more points on baby stuff! If losing the card is the issue you have your card on the app now so don't need the actual card so hopefully that will help....unless you lose your phone! X

@ShellMc2237 welcome! 👋🏻 x

@SmileyT I don't think it's from pee but perhaps! Yeah I'm at home with him been working today stopped about an hour ago. He's good and will play with his toys but like all toddlers also would rather have my full attention all the time. He is a good kid though i am very lucky x

Cocoblue22 · 13/07/2020 17:37

Is anyone else feeling incredibly bloated? I feel like I already look about 12 weeks pregnant to be fair I know my belly will pop out quicker with number two but still! X

Noble89 · 13/07/2020 17:50

@Cocoblue22 I know! I couldn't believe it when she assumed that but then to follow up with the Cuban story decked me 😂.

The only reason I've signed up is because you can now use your phone. I'm absolutely terrible with cards. I legit once changed banks because I was too embarrassed to report yet another lost card so thought the only option was then to switch banks 😂

I'm definitely feeling better seeing the progression. Might actually take the Digi tomorrow with the weeks indicator and leave my last FRER for weds 🤔

SmileyT · 13/07/2020 18:39

@Noble89 ooh I might put mine on my phone, every time I go to boots I'm like 'validate the receipt' then I throw the receipt away 😂 can't go wrong when you look young at 30. I got ID'd buying a red bull a few weeks ago I thought that was an absolute joke, I was like do I really look young enough to be doing GCSEs 🤷🏾‍♀️ also yay do a weeks one with me tomorrow morning, I know it's not super accurate but please bear with me if I freak out if it doesn't say 2-3weeks. You been busy at work? Is it nice having OH at home with you all day? xx

@Cocoblue22 I literally had to peel off the dress I put on for work today, I feel so bloated it's stupid... I actually can't pull my tummy in anymore 😂 my friend is about 12 weeks now and is properly showing and it's her 2nd your body knows what it's doing this time. Bet it's so nice to be home with him all the time.

@ShellMc2237 yep if you are getting really faint lines on tests then you might only be like 13 or 14dpo as ovulation can vary loads month to month. I normally have 28 day cycles and ovulate CD14 or 15 but randomly last year I had a 43 day cycle so must've ovulated around CD30 🤯

@SmileyT tbf I was showing at 12 weeks last time too haha! I think as soon as I'm pregnant my tummy is just like nah let's let it all hang out 🤣 it is nice being at home but I'm working from home so it's a lot harder than being at work. And I feel mum guilt for trying to juggle both btw mum guilt is a bitch x

@Cocoblue22 I am really bloated I'm drinking loads of water it was my craving with dd ice cold from the fridge so that won't be helping plus I get constipation too which isn't any fun xx

Noble89 · 13/07/2020 20:02

@SmileyT I'm definitely going the phone route. It's genius!

A couple of years ago an old bat in Sainsbury's refused to sell me a bloody lottery ticket. I was like 28 at the time and you have to be 16! I do look younger than I am but do I fuck look 16 😂.

You've convinced me. I'll do the weeks indicator in the morning. I'm so easily led 😂.

You can freak out if you need to and we shall reassure you 😊.

It's HIDEOUSLY busy. Like just awful. How about you? Which lender do you work for? Yeah it is lush to have him around. He does wait on me hand and foot bless him.

@Cocoblue22 with my molar I definitely started to show by 12 weeks. I'm pretty slim so I didn't look pregnant but I'd definitely gained a bit of a belly. Wonder if it'll be the same this time?

SmileyT · 13/07/2020 20:03

@Cocoblue22 ahh I love the idea of having a bump... I always think mommas to be just look so gorgeous with a bump 😍

@Dipsy77 constipation doesn't help at all 🙈

OP posts:
SmileyT · 13/07/2020 20:08

@Noble89 we have been so bloody busy... I work for TSB and it's been ridiculously, we were like 300% of plan a couple weeks ago, with about 80% of staff in, nearly a 3week wait on underwriting and 5 days on our general processing but it's kept me busy. Unfortunately I don't get paid anymore when we work harder though, I miss my broker days for that 😂 do you reckon you'll actually be going back to the office before mat leave now? x

OP posts:
Noble89 · 13/07/2020 21:03

@SmileyT same. I think because a lot of brokers have closed down our market share increased by 25% last month and they're expecting the same jump again this month. We're already the biggest broker in the UK so it's just gotten ridiculous. I did over 40 mortgage applications last month and it's just impossible to get everything I need to done in a day.

I'd be surprised if I do. They've flat out said we cannot social distance in the office even at 1m so until the govt scraps that and scraps the 'work from home if you can' advice then we won't be back.

They're also pretty reasonable. I can do my job from home with absolutely no difference in my performance so once I tell them about the baby I think they may even suggest I stay home.

You back in the office I take it? Or were you even ever working from home?

SmileyT · 14/07/2020 04:32

@Noble89 that is crazy!! If I do 4 applications in a week I am literally drowning with the admin 🤪I'm guessing you work for L&C, a girl I started at the bank with used to work for them in Newcastle 👌🏾 and yeah because we are in the branches they classed as us key workers so been in throughout even though we aren't doing face to face so I just sit in an office alone doing telephone appts all day ✌🏾

So I did my CB weeks, FMU was early but thought might aswell use it 😂

@SmileyT yay for the 2-3 🥳, I'm doing mine fro/ sat hoping to see the 3+ and then hopefully that will be me done with tests xx

Noble89 · 14/07/2020 07:53

@SmileyT Wooooooo! Yay for the 2-3! I also braved my first digi this morning. I thought I might be a bit too early as AF isn't even due till Thursday but got the result I was looking for 😊. There's something about seeing it in writing... we're all pregnant ladies!!!

Yup! Good old L&C 😂. Thankfully I don't have to do my own admin, but when I first started 20 apps was seen as a good month. If you do less than 30 now they're like what are you doing all day???
