Nearing the end of bus 3 so here is bus 4!

11+5 feeling rougher than ever but excited what's to come

Does anyone know if nosecco is not ok in pregnancy? It's my birthday tomorrow, not just any but the big 3 0. Husband went out today and came back with nosecco so I'd have something fun to drink other than juice. It says alcohol free but when I turned it over it said less than 0.5%. is that still a no go? I wouldn't normally drink any but feel bad for my husband trying to make my day special even in lockdown

@MeganC104 I've had the anti D 3 times already in this pregnancy and not going to lie it hurts like hell sorry 😐. I'm going to book in the whooping cough one too.

@BabyG123 that's one thing I didn't want to resort to was going to the police I just hope by removing the cam and leaving it in the bedroom he gets that he can only see the girls wen they go sleep or wake up and if he really wants to see them then he'll make the effort to physically be here. But I have my social worker and support both coming tomorrow so I'll be speaking to them about it also

@Bubbabee honestly just drained. I know I won't get any sleep even though the girls are asleep. Insomnia is now a very big symptom I'm suffering with 🥺

@MeganC104 it will be fine In pregnancy I've been drinking non alcoholic beer. My midwife says it's ok to drink as the alcohol content is near enough nonexistent or not at all. It's the proper alcoholic drinks we should stay away from although some professionals will say it's ok to have 1 a week. My midwife with ds1 advised me to have Guiness due to very low iron but it worked although it was only twice a week and my son turned out ok xx

@meganc104 I had a bottle of this on the weekend as it was also my 30th. I was told it was absolutley fine to drink - enjoy 🙂

@Bubbabee can I ask what you've had anti d for? I think I had it last pregnancy when baby was born but may be getting confused with something else!?

What a sweet husband ! I’m pretty sure Nosecco would be ok. I’ve been drinking alcohol free beer on holiday and most says 0.5% on the back. Does it says

Feeling a bit sore today. Did a bit of exercise yesterday, just 5 mins worth so really nothing, but think I must be really out of shape as abs are not happy!

Hello all, I've been lurking here a bit but finally joined. I'm 17 weeks, first pregnancy. I live in Athens but like following along with other Brits! It seems a tough over in UK with the current situation - sympathise with you having mainly telephone appts. Generally, things seem to be done very differently over here.
Anyway I had a growth ultrasound yesterday, everything going well so far and pretty much confirmed a girl - over the moon! Next appt on 1st Sept for the anatomy scan.

@lydiangel83 because I've had several bad bleeds this pregnancy I've had to have anti d every time. Damn blood group 😂

How are you all doing ? It's very quiet.
I had a splurge yesterday and bought a 4moms mamaroo. It looks fab. I had a play whether it's worth it or not I don't know.
19 weeks today. Scan is next Friday.
We hve a lot to do so I can't wait but then also I realised I only have four pay days until baby comes and so much work on the house.
I have a big belly. I keep meaning to take some pictures I will definitely shortly x

Hi @dixiedo , I’m 19 weeks today too, so we must have same due date ! (Hoping the baby is born overdue as 1st Jan would be a terrible birthday!!)
Got 20 week scan in 11 days. The time is draaaaaaagging!!

My birthday is a couple of days afterwards and it is awful as an adult! No one has ever celebrated my birthday I suppose that's just January for you 😂

I can feel a lot of movement now. It's definitely getting stronger DP isn't quite catching it yet though xx

What does baby movement feel like?

Hi @dixiedo My mum’s birthday is 31st December so that would be ok! Otherwise I hope he/she is at least a day late..!
I’m feeling fine, just really tired! I haven’t felt any movement yet; I know they say that’s normal but I’d really like to feel it for peace of mind! The scan feels a long way off still!!

I was thinking at about 16 weeks I could feel something in there. Almost a rolling or a wind kind of feeling.
This is my third though ..
I was definite at 17 weeks as I could feel little taps on the inside nothing on the outside but it was proper mini kicks.
Now I'm 19 weeks I feel the kicks and I can feel what I assume is baby turning. If I shine a light on my belly I can see it on the outside but DP still struggling to feel it (I also think it's a little frustrating so I'll wait until it's definite big kicks for him to try again) xx

I can't wait to feel something, nothing so far at 17+3 weeks currently. At the last two scans (at 12 and 16+5) she seemed to be asleep too!

@StephS1984 I’ve been really lucky and have been able to feel movement since just before 16 weeks. I do have a posterior placenta though, so that’ll help! They’re definitely more noticeable as movement now (at 18 weeks). At first it felt like a little fish swimming around and like a rolling feeling. Now it feels like stronger versions of that, but also more taps and ‘flicks’ - it’s a very weird but amazing feeling! I knew it was movement because it just feels like nothing I’ve ever felt before!

I can't wait to feel movement! 16+2 today and have maybe felt bubbles but could also have been gas 2 weeks until my private scan now 😁
