Hi, starting this thread -very tentitively- as a graduation from the TTC after MMC group. A couple of us have begun to get BFPs and I would like a space to go though this with people who get why I'm so anxious - especially in the first trimester! Some of the other threads are so big and rather gung ho and I want to tread a bit gently right now!
I am only 4 weeks but have been getting progressively darker tests since 7-8dpo.
I'm becoming more certain this is not a chemical but I am being so cautious! Definitely too scared to work out a EDD yet!

Hi everyone, I hope you dont mind me joining this thread - I am currently 7 weeks pregnant (7 weeks today) and am losing my mind! I had a miscarriage in January at 6+5 after an early scan showing no heartbeat at 6 weeks (it could have just been too early but I will never know if it did actually get a HB or not). I had a scan last Monday where I actually saw a heartbeat and they dated it at exactly 6 weeks, I was so flipping happy but I cannot shake the horrible thought that for some reason it is just going to stop and my world is going to come crashing down again. I am literally analysing every twinge, pain and fluid that comes out of me (TMI i know!)............I am annoying myself so much, why do I only think the worst all the time!? Sorry for the essay!!

bubblybon20 · 06/07/2020 18:32

@Smilingdonkey fingers crossed all is okay 🤞🏻x

peonyrose87 · 06/07/2020 18:48

@Smilingdonkey it sounds like a urine infection, but perhaps not enough for them to be concerned too much about it. Good luck for the scan, I'm sure everything will be ok but it's good they're checking ❤️

DanceM1 · 06/07/2020 19:12

@Smilingdonkey try not to worry. Really hope all is okay for you. A friend of mine had really severe pain around 5 weeks..so severe that she went to A&E as she couldn't take the pain any longer. She had a UTI but hospital told her they thought it was also an ectopic pregnancy. This went on for around 2 weeks and eventually they said all is fine. She is now around 14 weeks and had a very healthy baby at the 12 week scan.

@MrsP2707 I completely understand the worrying.. I'm exactly the same. When I start to feel happy I then feel bad for being happy because I feel like I'm letting myself get my hopes up and that will make it worse if things go wrong. Its very stressful isn't it!!

Smilingdonkey · 06/07/2020 20:27

@DanceM1 @ew1990 and @peonyrose87 thank you. Positive stories help. I'm am just such a ball on anxiety now. I really hope they scan me tomorrow 🤞for an ovarian cyst ! (Now there's something I never thought I'd say!)

@mrsp2707 ... Solidarity with the worrying 😔 No advice as I'm pretty much just a ball of obsessive nerves right now! xxxxx

@smilingdonkey I'm with you on the nerves. I think I took for granted in the past that everything will be alright.

Ive Just caved and done one of my FRERs. The test line is a little bit darker than the control line and it appeared almost instantly.

That's it's for me testing now. I dont Think I can get much darker than that and my IC s are making me anxious so I'm stopping them.

@ranoutofgoodnames how was your scan?

That's a great line on your FRER @ew1990. Are you 4/5 weeks?

peonyrose87 · 06/07/2020 21:51

@ew1990 that's a great line!

peonyrose87 · 06/07/2020 21:51

@ew1990 that's a great line!

peonyrose87 · 06/07/2020 21:52

@ew1990 that's a great line!

ew1990 · 06/07/2020 22:02

@flatwhite32 I dont know? MMC bleeding started on the 28th of May. I know it took 3 days for me to pass baby and placenta.

At a rough guess I'm saying 4 weeks?

@peony thank you

Flatwhite32 · 07/07/2020 06:43

Fingers crossed for a sticky bean @ew1990 x

ALew15 · 07/07/2020 08:12

Hi everyone.

Moving over from the old thread as I got my BFP yesterday! Cautiously optimistic as had MMC discovered at 12W scan in November'19 and some complications after it. I am very early days but tested today as well and my line is getting stronger.

I wondered about joining this page as I want to treat it as a new pregnancy and forget what happened before but I have so much anxiety that something will go wrong again. Nice to have somewhere to vent and not potentially upset other first time mums with my crazy thoughts as I think we all feel the same.

(Bottom test is most recent for comparison)

Hey

I had an early MC on 25 May around 4/5weeks and had BFP on 3 July to our utter amazement. I woke up this morning to a clot. I’m trying not to get too upset as there is no other bleeding but I’m too early for early pregnancy clinic. I hope it is nothing to worry about. Has anyone any positive outcomes of something like this other than what I feel is the inevitable?

I’m glad I’m not the only hyper anxious lady out there. It’s so hard not to be worried all the time.x

bubblybon20 · 07/07/2020 10:07

Hello newbies! Congratulations on your BFPs :) x

bubblybon20 · 07/07/2020 12:26

@Smilingdonkey did you manage to get in for a scan? X

Smilingdonkey · 07/07/2020 12:52

Welcome and congratulations people!

@NMH19 is it just a clot or are you bleeding too? Can you not phone EPU for advice maybe? I've been referred there at 5 weeks so they might see you ...

@bubblybon I have a scan tomorrow morning. I'm pretty cross they are making me wait but cramping is better again today so maybe it's a good sign 🤷. It's never been as bad as it was on Saturday so I'm really hoping I had a cyst that burst on Saturday and this is left over pain. Seems odd for an ectopic to be really painful one day and then just dull intermittnant pain/barely there for 2-3 days ... I'm so scared though 😫

NMH19 · 07/07/2020 13:17

@Smilingdonkey It was one small-medium clot I’ve had no further bleeding so I hope that’s a good sign

bubblybon20 · 07/07/2020 13:20

@Smilingdonkey yeah I would say if they cramps ain't as bad then it's a good sign! Fingers crossed it goes okay :)

SkyBlue20 · 07/07/2020 14:49

Jumping over from the other thread as this just happened 😬

Sakura54 · 07/07/2020 15:06

@ALew15 I also want to forget, but TBH I don't think it's possible after going through something like that. I'm going to be a nervous wreck before the 12 week scan and understandably so!

@SkyBlue20 You just made that new thread as well lol. Your symptoms sounded so promising!

I'm so pleased you guys have joined the club!

ew1990 · 07/07/2020 15:45

@skyblue20 welcome! And welcome to all the other newbies.

Hows everyone doing? I have a chin full of spots 😩

SkyBlue20 · 07/07/2020 15:54

Thank you!

@ew1990 I have a forehead full of spots - was relieved that they're from pregnancy and weren't going to be a monthly occurrence 😂

ew1990 · 07/07/2020 15:59

I normally get one when I'm due AF. I had loads when pregnant with DD. None last time.

I'm actually thankful I wear a mask all day at work and no one can see them 😂

Smilingdonkey · 07/07/2020 16:05

Ahhhhh!!! @SKYBLUE20! I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU I'M SHOUTING!
