Hi, starting this thread -very tentitively- as a graduation from the TTC after MMC group. A couple of us have begun to get BFPs and I would like a space to go though this with people who get why I'm so anxious - especially in the first trimester! Some of the other threads are so big and rather gung ho and I want to tread a bit gently right now!
I am only 4 weeks but have been getting progressively darker tests since 7-8dpo.
I'm becoming more certain this is not a chemical but I am being so cautious! Definitely too scared to work out a EDD yet!

@bubblybon20 I know it feels so long! I think I'm feeling more and more confident as time goes on, but the day before/day of scan is always the worst 😭

@SkyBlue20 Such a sense of relief seeing the scan! I know! So close now. The morning sickness and tiredness is definitely wearing off now, which is great but still makes me paranoid even though I know it's the right time for this to be happening!

@ew1990 Good luck with your scan this morning! Hope it all goes well! The waiting room is the worst, had me there about 45 mins this time.

ew1990 · 06/08/2020 08:56

Everything's Ok! I've been so worried coz all my symptoms have disappeared too. From my last scan I shouldve been 8+5 But they've measured me as 9 weeks today.

I'm so relieved feel like a weights been lifted off my shoulders.

SkyBlue20 · 06/08/2020 09:21

Amazing, congratulations @ew1990, great news! 💕

ew1990 · 06/08/2020 09:33

@skyblue20 thank you.

Here's the little bean 😊

Oh excellent news @ew1990 ☺️

bubblybon20 · 06/08/2020 09:47

@ew1990 so glad it went well! Makes it slightly more real doesn't it seem the baby shape 😍😍😍

Workingmama1 · 06/08/2020 10:02

@ew1990 was just checking in to see how you got on, so pleased for you!

I hit my first mini milestone of 5 weeks today. Next one is Monday and I am going to tell my manager.

I'm still feeling anxious but trying to manage it. I also get a dodgy tummy when I'm anxious and have had diarrhea for the last three mornings (sorry tmi!) I think its a combination of nerves and eating crap due to nausea

JennyMY · 06/08/2020 10:13

Good morning all.
@SkyBlue20, we never dreamed it would be twins - no family history and my symptoms have been really mild! My partner is so excited, I'm taking things a day at a time but if all goes well I will be so blessed!
@ew1990, how lovely to have a picture, and what a relief! So happy for you. 🙂

JennyMY · 06/08/2020 10:25

Congratulations to everyone btw, on your little miracles. Fingers crossed for everyone and our rainbows! 🌈 x

ew1990 · 06/08/2020 10:39

Thank you everyone. I honestly thought they'd say it had disappeared.

@workingmama Ive had diarrhoea lately. But I'm not sure if it's the iron tablets I've been put on. I feel like I rattle with all the tablets I have to take!

ew1990 · 06/08/2020 10:45

@jennyMY twins? Wow bet that was a shock.

We've still not heard from @alew. I really Hope everything went ok

DanceM1 · 06/08/2020 10:55

Hi everyone.

Welcome and congratulations to the ladies that have recently joined us. Im sorry for your previous losses.... let's hope we have better luck this time 🙏🤞

@ew1990 I'm so pleased your scan went well and that's great that you're measuring slightly ahead! 💕

How is everybody feeling? I'm slightly less tired this week but I'm extra bloated. It makes me panic because I was really bloated last time with the MMC but I know it is a pregnancy symptom as well. I've also had a few more little aches and pains this week.. not had them for a couple of weeks. I think I need to do more exercise now i have a little (tiny) bit more energy!

Hope everyone is OK. I've also been thinking about @ALew15... really hope she is OK ❤

DanceM1 · 06/08/2020 10:55

Forgot to say, I've booked another scan for this Sunday and I'm absolutely terrrified!

bubblybon20 · 06/08/2020 12:07

@DanceM1 that's exciting! How many weeks will you be then?! Do love seeing the scan pictures 😍

Poppy10121 · 06/08/2020 12:20

It's so lovely to see all these healthy scans! Congratulations @ew1990 :-) Sorry if I've missed others - I had to actually do work at work yesterday so missed 48 hours of chat Grin

Welcome to all the new ladies too :-)

@DanceM1 I am feeling really bloated too :-( Can't really wear any trousers at the moment, only dresses, doesn't help that I was already on the heavier side of normal for me after months in lockdown!

The husbands comment is interesting @Workingmama1, in our house it's the other way round, my husband has already told his parents and starting to think about it being real, whereas I am the one ignoring it and pretending nothing is happening, I've not even told my mum yet. I'm scared to get excited yet and don't think I will til I'm through the first trimester. 5 weeks today and counting... I've not had any bleeding yet and I did have spotting from 4+4 with my MMC, so I'm hoping the progesterone pessaries are doing something. They're kind of horrible but I will stick with it in case it helps this little one.

DanceM1 · 06/08/2020 12:41

@bubblybon20 I should be around 10 weeks going off the last scan. I'm so nervous because I know a good scan at 8 weeks means I've got further than last time but reading about other ladies who had healthy scans then bad news at the next one really makes me feel sick with nerves! I guess we will see on Sunday! I also have my bloods/urine sample with the midwife tomorrow.

@Poppy10121 sorry you're feeling bloated too! My stomach is really hard at the bottom so I know what you mean about wearing dresses! I am also heavier than usual after the MMC and lockdown. Thats why I really need to get out and exercise more and try to overcome the tiredness! I think I'm more like you as well with trying to pretend nothing is happening yet... we have told close family but that is all for now. I think people are right though when they say that worrying now won't actually help us to feel any better if things did go wrong.

SkyBlue20 · 06/08/2020 13:14

Ahhh @ew1990 what a lovely little bean. So cute how you can make out the shape so early 🥰

@Workingmama1 Congrats on five weeks! 🥳 Another milestone ticked off ✔️

@JennyMY Wow, so a real surprise then! Got my fingers really firmly crossed for you 🤞🏼

I've been thinking of @ALew15, too - really hope everything is ok 💕

@DanceM1 Bloating is totally normal, try not to worry (easier said than done, I know). I've been a bit more achey over the last couple of days, too (I'm 8+4), my hips feel like they're stretching, a bit like right at the start. Hopefully it's a good sign. Otherwise, I'm still nauseous, constantly hungry, got some aversions, not sleeping well, constantly tired (see: not sleeping well), spotty... I'm a delight 😂 Not done any exercise in about three weeks either, just don't know when I'm meant to fit it in - I'm too tired to get going early, tend to nap or work through lunch and then shattered after work 🤷🏻‍♀️
Exciting about your scan on Sunday!

Sakura54 · 06/08/2020 13:27

Welcome new ladies! Looking forward to seeing your 12 week scans.

@DanceM1 @SkyBlue20 Early scans at 10 weeks! You’re both going to have successful scans and lovely pics.

All my symptoms are back - tiredness, aches, hard belly, poor appetite, food stinks, nausea and heartburn. Yes I also get bloated. I go to bed with a bump and wake up with a flat stomach lol. Bloating went on throughout my entire pregnancy with DS.

@Workingmama1 DH is his usual easy-going self. He deals with things as they come, as opposed to worrying and likes to be positive. For us women, it’s hard not to worry. I mean that time I was spotting and in pain, I practically told my family that I’d lost the baby, instead of waiting for my EPU scan. Overdramatic, but hey that’s what MC does to you!

TMI - So I’m still checking tissue when I wipe. There’s been no spotting at all since that time, but it can be extremely sticky and sometimes there’s little lumps with a hint of pale green or brown, but mainly clear/white. Like what @Workingmama1
described previously in our old thread - snot. Anyone else got this? Dr Google says it may be bits of the mucus plug. I think it’s ok so will hold tight until my scan I guess. Still nearly 2 weeks to wait arghh! I’ve never had spotting or weird discharge in any of my previous pregnancies.

ew1990 · 06/08/2020 15:25

@sakura I think increased discharge is normal and as long as it doesn't smell it's fine. I have loads. Sometimes feels like period has started.

Workingmama1 · 06/08/2020 15:57

@Sakura54 I'm still checking the tissue! I had snot discharge yesterday but only a little when I wiped. I think I had it with my mmc but also with my daughter. I'm not sure if the mucas plug has even formed yet, but dont know when I does! @ew1990 I've also had that feeling, and a few emergency trips to the loo to check its not blood as I've felt that wet 🙈

@dancem1 I was really bloated but think my diarrhea has meant I'm not at the moment! Its funny before I found out I was sooo bloated my husband said I looked 4 months pregnant, turns out I was 4 weeks instead! I think it's pretty normal.

DanceM1 · 06/08/2020 18:00

Thank you @SkyBlue20 I know its normal I just seem to like to convince myself of the worst 🙈 I really shouldn't be complaining.. bless you with how you have been feeling!! Im sure it will all be worth it in the end though💕 I've just been out for a short walk and even that has made me feel better so I'm going to try my best to do at least that every day.

@Workingmama1 maybe I need a bit of diarrhoea 😂🙈 hormones are just playing us all up aren't they!! Hope you are feeling OK though really.

@Sakura54 I love your positivity! I think it is completely the best way to be!! Sounds like your symptoms are full on again! Hope you're coping OK ☺

ew1990 · 06/08/2020 18:57

So im just thinking. 10 weeks ago today I had medical management and lost my last baby. And Now today I'm 9 weeks pregnant. I really must have caught quite quick.

I've just woke up from a nap and for the first time since I found out I've had a dream that I had a baby and it was a little boy. I wonder if I was really blocking it all out and now my minds relaxed a Bit? If that makes sense?

DanceM1 · 06/08/2020 19:28

@ew1990 wow thats really quick!!! Interestingly, after my scan I also started to dream about being with my baby. Stopped now maybe because I'm due another scan and so worrying again!!

SmileyT · 06/08/2020 19:53

Welcome to those that have joined 👋 and twins @JennyMY that's amazing 🥰🥰 are they identical? x

@ew1990 congrats on your scan lovely, little bean is making a comfy home in there ❤️

@DanceM1 ahh so nice you have another scan booked, I'm so tempted for another interim one but my next one is for 10weeks and think I have to be patient until then 🤞 I've started yoga this week (I'm not a yogi at all maybe done it 10times in my life) and is actually really helping me to feel less bleurgh and more calm x

@Sakura54 my discharge is a lot at the moment, I'm considering just wearing a pant liner all the time as i feel like it may ruin my underwear 🙈 definitely feel like it's white most of the time but sometimes much thicker which makes it look more off-white 🤔

ew1990 · 06/08/2020 20:45

@danceM1 ooh when's your scan. Not long I hope. We will soon be all having our 12 week ones.

@smileyt thank You! Hope your doing ok? Oh yoga sounds good. Although I don't think I could do it. Is it loads of bending and flexing 😂😂
