Hi, starting this thread -very tentitively- as a graduation from the TTC after MMC group. A couple of us have begun to get BFPs and I would like a space to go though this with people who get why I'm so anxious - especially in the first trimester! Some of the other threads are so big and rather gung ho and I want to tread a bit gently right now!
I am only 4 weeks but have been getting progressively darker tests since 7-8dpo.
I'm becoming more certain this is not a chemical but I am being so cautious! Definitely too scared to work out a EDD yet!

Oh, @bubblybon20! I’m sending massive hugs. Hopefully it’s not the worst but if it is, we’re here for you. Whatever happens, you’re strong and you can get through this. Lots of love xxx

bubblybon20 · 20/07/2020 20:14

Thankyou both 💕 Whatever it is, is agony! But it's not lower cramping at all!! It's all at the top of my stomach? And I've had no bleeding at all. Just really bad stomach cramping! X

SmileyT · 20/07/2020 20:28

@SkyBlue20 good on you for getting yourself registered... I'm working towards my next milestone which is 6weeks on Thursday (that is the time I took a test last time so no wonder it feels so much longer this time 🙈) x

@Smilingdonkey really hope everything goes well on Wednesday ❤️

@bubblybon20 sending you loads of virtual hugs, it can be a positive sign if it's not accompanied with bleeding, but I'd definitely try and get into your local EPU for a scan if you are worried and hopefully they can give you some answers, maybe it's just stretching x

Top of the stomach and no cramping sounds positive but still worth a call to your EPU I’d say. It could be something as simple as wind or stretching or something, mind. Fingers crossed. Hope it eases soon xxx

Six weeks was the point at which I decided I’d make my appointment, too. It does feel like it’s been a lifetime already - it’ll be two weeks tomorrow since we found out and it feels like about two years but equally it has gone quite quickly 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just six more weeks to go... 😫

Millymay13 · 20/07/2020 21:00

@bubblybon20 I’m keeping my fingers crossed it’s just trapped wind, that can be really painful x

SkyBlue20 · 20/07/2020 21:14

Come to think of it, I had really bad wind the other day after I ate a slice of pizza, it was so painful. I read that getting on all fours, forearms on the floor, and putting your bum in the air helps and it really did for me. Obviously may not be that at all and don’t want to seem like I’m trivialising it but just in case it’s helpful xx

bubblybon20 · 20/07/2020 21:19

I think it's a false alarm, how embarrassing!
I've obviously eaten something that really did not agree with me, or something with gluten in. I've had the runs (sorry for over sharing)
It has been awful cramping 😫 really sorry for freaking out. I just thought it was happening again. Never had pain like this before for a stomach bug mind! 🤦🏻‍♀️ hopefully plenty of fluids and a good night sleep will clear everything. Just hope it's nothing else x

bubblybon20 · 20/07/2020 21:23

I think I'm so on edge this week, I'm 7+1 today. And my last MC happened 8+4. Just going to be a long next few days 😫 x

DanceM1 · 20/07/2020 21:28

@bubblybon20 I'm so pleased it was a false alarm! I had a similar thing last time I was pregnant when I had eaten a lot of gluten!

The worry is real... I've just booked an early scan for this weekend and feel sick thinking about it now. I kinda wish I hadn't booked it but have to keep reminding myself that booking a scan cannot change what is going to happen and its best to know really!

Millymay13 · 20/07/2020 21:34

@bubblybon20 Fingers crossed now you think it’s a false alarm your anxiety will lower and as a result your stomach will feel less painful. No matter the cause a painful tummy is horrible!
I completely understand the anxiety though, my first MC was at around 6+3 and then when I had the MMC my private scan showed the fetal pole to be 6+4. I’m 6+4 today and trying to stay calm but it’s so hard. I so wish I could see what’s going on in there all the time to see if it’s all ok or not.

bubblybon20 · 20/07/2020 21:38

@DanceM1 I have ceoliac disease. So gluten is a no go 🙈🤦🏻‍♀️ but think it's generally just a tummy bug! And ah I can see why you're feeling like that; but just got to stay positive! 💕

@Millymay13 yes hopefully it'll feel better tomorrow! And it's so hard isn't it 😫 really hope this is it for us all this time. Everyone has been through such a journey! 💖 I would be so much more easing if we could all afford private scans every day or weekly! 🤣🤣

swishswashswoosh · 20/07/2020 21:47

Tentative hello, if I can join? Pregnancy 5 for me, two amazing kids so feel very lucky in that but have always wanted a third. Two MMC, most recent in March. First was a molar pregnancy which I'd never heard of and it scared the shit out of me. I also developed adhesions and my second birth I had a retained placenta.

I have been in and out of the gynae as a result and I'm currently 5+5 having been literally about to start stims for IVF after the Ob told me my uterine lining would never survive a natural conception (3.9mm a day before ovulation 😣) so FET with a lot of hormonal help was my only option. I was 16dpo when I got my BFP and I only tested as I hadn't got my period which I was meant to get two days before so I could start the meds, ob told me it was fine to start whether bleed happened or not as he could see the lining beginning to shed. So fuck knows how something is holding on in there right now but he has been pumping me full of cyclogest to try and hold it. My fear is that this is simply going to mask another MC and I'll be back on the operating table in a few weeks. Aaaaaah. I have no symptoms apart from mega sore boobs but that is all progesterone led which is synthetic in my case anyway....🤦🏼‍♀️

Anyway, I decided to join as I've been following this thread for a while (creepy lurker) and I got a 3+ on a digi weeks this morning which I'm taking as a positive even though I know it is bollocks and means nothing and calcs put me due on March 19 which is my mothers birthday. Another positive I'm taking this time round.

I never joined the due month threads, as others have said on here, they seems so busy, so faceless, no one really knows what's going on with anyone else and I am horribly jealous of the naive optimism in them. The wait for everything is killing me.

swishswashswoosh · 20/07/2020 21:50

God that was long....sorry!!

bubblybon20 · 20/07/2020 21:51

@swishswashswoosh hello! And massive congratulations, sounds like you've had such a rollercoaster! Fingers crossed you have a lovely sticky one this time! And by the sounds of it all, this one is lucky bean!💕 x

SkyBlue20 · 20/07/2020 23:17

@bubblybon20 So happy it was a false alarm, hope you’re feeling somewhat better now.

@Millymay13 Sending love. You survived what must have been a difficult day 💕 I do wish we all had a little window we could look through just to see what’s happening in there!

@swishswashswoosh Welcome! Sounds like you’ve really been through a lot, so sorry for your losses. I love little signs like this one being due on your mum’s birthday (I’m due on Mother’s Day!) so let’s hope that’s a positive ☺️ How old are your children?

My nipples are finally sore again, I’m thrilled 😂 I think at this stage you guys know more about my nipples than my husband does but anything goes here, right?! 😂🙈

peonyrose87 · 21/07/2020 05:56

@bubblybon20 so glad it seems to be a false alarm!! My tummy has been like a balloon for days and so sore but it's all constipation related 😫

Sakura54 · 21/07/2020 07:57

@SkyBlue20 I actually would have had the baby end of October, so we were nearly on the same thread lol. I don’t look at the thread because it reminds me that I should have had my 20 week scan ages ago instead of having to start from scratch. Sometimes I see members pop up in other threads and they mention how many months they are now...I also can’t imagine being that pregnant.

@bubblybon20 That sounded awful! How is it today? I’ve been getting aches here and there and it seems to be different everyday so I think its normal. I literally only feel no aches if I lie down! I also have a bit of a dodgy tummy so that could be what’s causing them but I’m pretty sure it’s pregnancy related!

Sore boobs are the only symptom I don’t get. They may have felt slightly achy one time only. So I spotted again twice yesterday but it’s barely visible so I’m just going to ignore it. I’ll only take action if it becomes red or actual bleeding

Yes, book your appts, then you can get your 12 week scan dates. Eeek! Getting pushed back by 5 days due to the scan measurement has made things drag a bit for me. I just want to get to that 12 week mark, but had to go back to 7 weeks! It’ll probably change again at the scan. We should make a list of our due dates that we individually update soon, like what they do in pregnancy threads? Maybe after we’ve had our scans, what do you reckon? Would be nice to have some positivity.

Hi creepy lurker @swishswashswoosh lol you made me chuckle. Gentle congrats. Sounds like you’ve been through so much but that’s great you have two DCs. I have a DS and just want to give him a sibling, then I’m getting my tubes tied!

Noble89 · 21/07/2020 08:04

@swishswashswoosh welcome lovely! I had a molar pregnancy last year too! You're the first person I've met on these boards who has been through it too.

Fingers crossed for a healthy bean this time xxx

bubblybon20 · 21/07/2020 08:23

@Sakura54 it really was 🙈 never experienced anything like it! All seems good today tho, so hard to understand all the random aches and cramps 🤦🏻‍♀️

Ah hopefully the spotting is nothing. Like you say unless it's red or heavy, it could just be something really minor!

Really like that idea of the due dates! I can imagine a few of us will actually have the same due dates which would be interesting! 😀 and it'll make it so much more real having the genuine dates, than going by LMP. I think il also get my dates pushed back a bit 🤣 going for try book a private scan next week for 9+6! Which would be 2 weeks on Sunday. X

DanceM1 · 21/07/2020 09:13

Welcome @swishswashswoosh and congratulations!

So I booked a private scan for this weekend but after I'd booked it I realised that they only do abdominal ones. Obviously I would rather have abdominal than internal but I'm really worried we won't be able to see anything and that will make me really panic. Did somebody say recently that they'd had an abdominal scan quite early on?? Surely if they offer them from 7 weeks they must be pretty confident. Its just when I found out about the MMC the baby was measuring 6+6 and they couldn't see that with the abdominal scan. I should be 7+6 when I go for this scan but think I may actually be a little behind that (only a couple of days). Do you think I should call them and ask about it?

I'm also symptomless other than my boobs have grown and i get the odd twinges here and there. I'm desperate for some sickness 🙈

peonyrose87 · 21/07/2020 09:44

@DanceM1 I had an abdominal scan on Sunday at what I thought was 7+5 and measured 8+1. In my last pregnancy I had a scan at 7+3 and could see baby and a heartbeat then too. You should be fine! 🤞🏻

bubblybon20 · 21/07/2020 09:49

@DanceM1 I think you should be fine, I've seen a few people having scans between 7 weeks, and it's pretty clear! So hopefully be okay for you! X

DanceM1 · 21/07/2020 09:54

@peonyrose87 @bubblybon20 thank you both.. that's made me feel a lot better. I know at window to the womb last time they said they did internal for another earlier than 11 weeks!

peonyrose87 · 21/07/2020 09:57

How's everyone doing today? I've reached the stage where everything my partner and step-son does annoys the life out of me 🙈😂 I remember this from last time-poor boys, having to live with such a moody person!
