Hi, starting this thread -very tentitively- as a graduation from the TTC after MMC group. A couple of us have begun to get BFPs and I would like a space to go though this with people who get why I'm so anxious - especially in the first trimester! Some of the other threads are so big and rather gung ho and I want to tread a bit gently right now!
I am only 4 weeks but have been getting progressively darker tests since 7-8dpo.
I'm becoming more certain this is not a chemical but I am being so cautious! Definitely too scared to work out a EDD yet!

Morning ladies
I'm moving across from the ttc thread after getting my BFP. I'm currently 5+2 not feeling sick yet but very tired and super hungry all the time.
I'm not having any early scans unless I have to after having 3 with MMC don't think I could face it again. 12 weeks seems like a lifetime away, how come when ttc it seems to go so fast but as soon as you get your BFP time seems to go backwards !xx

SkyBlue20 · 16/07/2020 08:32

Congratulations @Dipsy77! I’m 5+4 so very close due dates ☺️ I too am constantly hungry and getting more and more tired. Completely understandable about the scans, let’s hope the next seven weeks go quickly for us xx

After my 4:30am wake up then my dream waking me up, my husband had forgot to turn his alarm off so that woke me back up just as I was dozing off again at 6:30. Not a good night’s sleep! I’m still in bed but really ought to get moving, it’s going to be a long day! 😴

SmileyT · 16/07/2020 08:57

@Noble89 👋 and @Dipsy77 I was obviously doing ttc wrong it has all dragged for me 🤣

@SkyBlue20 any chance of a nap during the day if you're wfh? I actually just looked at my Fitbit stats and it tells me I'm getting more sleep this month than last month although increasing from 6hrs to 6hrs10 average isn't great 🙈

Sakura54 · 16/07/2020 10:45

I went to A&E and they’ve booked me in for a scan tomorrow due to spotting. This is why I didn’t want to waste time and have my blood test and checks done so early, but it was done the other day. I don’t even know how to feel right now. Wish me luck, guys.

SkyBlue20 · 16/07/2020 10:52

Oh @Sakura54, huge big hand hold. Spotting isn’t always a bad sign so I have my fingers so firmly crossed for good news for you. Hoping tomorrow rolls around quickly and you can get answers. xxxxx

bubblybon20 · 16/07/2020 11:11

@Sakura54 sending lots of hugs, fingers crossed for you that everything is okay 🤞🏻💕

SmileyT · 16/07/2020 12:21

Good luck for your scan tomorrow @Sakura54 ❤️

Smilingdonkey · 16/07/2020 14:35

@sakura54 I'm sorry you are going through this. Sporting is very common sorry to hold on to that now xxxx

@Sakura54 I hope everything goes ok at your scan!

I've just booked an early one through window2the womb. I'll be 7+4 (3rd Aug) hope I'm not jinxing myself now. The thought of waiting until 12 weeks is so draining, having waited until then last time and finding out I'd had a MMC at approx 4 weeks I just couldn't wait that long again.
My lack of symptoms is making me paranoid too but having been so ill last time it doesn't really mean much.
If it is positive news then we will tell some family and close friends for support x

ALew15 · 16/07/2020 17:29

Some lovely news from the Welsh Government today that partners can start attending antenatal scans again!

DanceM1 · 16/07/2020 19:13

Hi ladies, hope you're all OK! I've not commented this week as been extra anxious so tried to avoid anything pregnancy related completely!

@Sakura54 really hope everything is OK at your scan, like others have said, spotting can be nothing🤞

@ALew15 brilliant news for you guys in Wales!

For those worrying about lack of symptoms I feel exactly the same but then I'm actually massively bloated and keep having little twinges (not pains..just a feeling?!). This makes me panic as I was hugely bloated last time with the MMC. But I am pretty sure bloating is due to pregnacare and I've become much more bloated since taking higher dose of folic acid.. maybe a coincidence?!

bubblybon20 · 16/07/2020 20:22

@DanceM1 can totally understand you wanting to take your mind away for a little while, I think i will also in a couple of weeks from when I suffered my last MC. Because I feel like il be waiting and trying to spot things that ain't there. And rather distract myself from it all until the week passes!

I'm also the same! I've had no symptoms really apart from a few lower twinges this eve. And bloating on and off the past few days! How far along are you now? X

DanceM1 · 16/07/2020 20:48

@bubblybon20 I think that's exactly why I've been so anxious this week... I'm 6+3 and when I went for a scan around 12 weeks they said the baby had stopped growing at 6+6 so I think that's been playing on my mind. It must be lovely for people that just enjoy their pregnancies mustn't it! How far along are you? X

bubblybon20 · 16/07/2020 20:58

@DanceM1 yeah possibly makes sense 😫 hope you're okay tho, it's one thing feeling anxious about early pregnancy anyway. But when you've had a MC/MMC it makes everything 10x worse.
Will you be booking and early scan? (Sorry if you've already mentioned)
I'm 6+4. Feels like I've knows forever. But considering, I think the 3 weeks I've known have gone pretty fast 🤷🏻‍♀️ x

SkyBlue20 · 17/07/2020 08:25

Good luck with your scan today @Sakura54, sending a huge handhold 💕

Morning girls, I had my first midwife appointment yesterday. 9 +1 today. It was fine, she just did my jobs and ive got to go and get my bloods done today. My main booking in appointment is Tuesday, over the phone setting up an app apparently! All paperless now!

How you all feeling? Im still soooooo nauseous but not too bad apart from that.

@Sakura54 everything crossed for you today lovely. 🙏

@SkyBlue20 lockdown definitely make hiding pregnancy a little easier but the couple of times we've been out I have drove and that saves all the awkwardness around alcohol. I took my own fancy fizzy drink and just said oh ive brought this for me to drink as me and OH flipped a coin as to who drove and I lost. It worked. 🤣 x

MrsTtobe · 17/07/2020 09:05

Obs not jobs 🙄

bubblybon20 · 17/07/2020 10:02

@SkyBlue20 oo, going to seem more real once you've rang the midwife! I can't help with the drinking with your family, I don't drink. But you could come up with some plan like you say to get those who know to help you out 🤷🏻‍♀️ it doesn't make you sound ungrateful, I kind of wish lockdown was a bit longer. I don't plan on telling any of the extended family really until I'm obviously showing 🤣 I feel like lockdown has made me quite happy in the bubble I'm in 🤣

@MrsTtobe ah that must have made things feel so much less anxious, after the midwife appointment! I keep getting waves of nausea at night time with some cramps. But nothing else really!

Does anyone else around 6/7 weeks still getting cramps? Mine were quite intense last night but not painful or anything! Just felt a bit random 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Sakura54 thinking of you today 💖

Ranoutofgoodnames · 17/07/2020 11:04

@Sakura54 hope it goes well today xx

SkyBlue20 · 17/07/2020 11:04

@MrsTtobe How exciting that you're having all of your appointments - and that you only have three weeks until your scan. I'm a bit jealous! 😂 Yes, I think the flipping a coin thing is what I'm going to do tomorrow and then on Sunday I'll say I've got a big day at work on Monday so don't want to be hungover. My cousin doesn't like red wine so I'm going to make sure I get there before her, pour myself a glass of non-alcoholic red wine, hide the bottle and then say that was my one drink as I'm driving. By doing red, she won't question what I'm drinking, etc.
I too am very nauseous, I need to be constantly eating otherwise I just feel awful - it's like having a constant hangover.

@bubblybon20 I too am quite liking my lockdown bubble - am just watching Boris' press conference and am dreading him saying we should all go back to work. I don't think we will immediately anyway as our office is small but I don't even want to start thinking about going back to the rat race!

Millymay13 · 17/07/2020 11:17

@Sakura54 thinking of you and keeping my fingers crossed your scan goes well today x

Millymay13 · 17/07/2020 11:20

I’ve had my appointment at the EPU and saw a teeny tiny flickering heartbeat on the screen 😍. I could have looked at it all day!

bubblybon20 · 17/07/2020 11:27

@Millymay13 How exciting! how are you now?! I always lose track of everyone's dates as there's a few of us 🙈🤣
