Just wondered what everyone's very first early days symptoms were? The reason you considered taking a test?

Day before AF was due I came over with a constant feeling of nausea - tested first thing the next morning and it was positive

jammyone · 26/06/2020 20:17

I have to say @arianwe I felt the same - I just knew.

After that it was a weird uneasy stomach feeling, like tenseness but not. And the sore boobs, oh god, I remember not being able to shower because they were that sore.

Implantation bleed (both times) - was spotting as usual a few days before AF but when it stopped and didn't turn into AF I took a test.

Hushabyelullabye · 26/06/2020 20:19

Sore boobs to the point even the feel of material against them hurt.

Gotofriggingsleep · 26/06/2020 20:21

Darker nipples!

MaverickDanger · 26/06/2020 20:21

My resting heart rate crept up (I wear a Fitbit)

mobear · 26/06/2020 20:22

My boyfriend nagging me to take a test even though I thought he was being unduly anxious. Turns out I was wrong!

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 26/06/2020 20:22

Green wee, both times, followed by excruciating cramping pains when my period would have been due.

Pink15 · 26/06/2020 20:25

Soooooo hungry lol

joannew4 · 26/06/2020 20:26

DS: really sensitive skin, particularly when in the shower - felt like I was washing with sandpaper when using a sponge.

DC2: absolutely exhausted and a flare of acne

BobbyTheVetIsMyHero · 26/06/2020 20:26

I just knew. I have no idea how. It was my first pregnancy and my period wasn't even due.

elliejjtiny · 26/06/2020 20:29

Veiny boobs and needing to wee all the time.

NLW91 · 26/06/2020 20:41

I just felt “not right”. I’d only come off my pill a month before after being on it for years, so thought it was just my body adjusting to the change. I was very surprised when I saw the positive result!

Peanut870 · 26/06/2020 20:41

I pulled my back! Then had extreme fatigue and went off food!

Mum2beSept2020 · 26/06/2020 20:47

Bad period pain for a week before it was due and I was really irritable!

Hannah9176 · 26/06/2020 20:49

I just knew with both pregnancies. Had an overwhelming feeling I needed to test and had a positive 6 days early with both.

2020goawaynow · 26/06/2020 20:50

Constipation!! Before missed period

saywhatwhatnow · 26/06/2020 20:54

Nothing really with DS1

With DS2 I was sooooo incredibly tired. I literally couldn't keep my eyes open after lunch one Sunday.

toomuchteaandcake · 26/06/2020 20:55

Ovary pain

Isadora2007 · 26/06/2020 21:02

1st- no reason to be pregnant as wasn’t TTC and were actively TTNC but saw my boobs in the mirror one night around the time my period was due and thought “I’m pregnant”. And I was.

Second time was Vaguely TTC and I got hysterical over something and was crying into a tea towel while sitting on the kitchen floor. Thought “god this is bad pmt... oh wait, when was my period due?”

Third was TTC and had been POAS all the bloody time and getting negatives. I had decided that I was unlikely to conceive (medical issues) and needed to stop obsessing and get on with life. So I got a new job. Two weeks later I went to the induction session and put on the same skirt I’d worn to interview- and struggled to zip it... and realised my period was indeed late...

Fourth I came out of the cinema and felt dizzy and lightheaded- and thought “ah- could this be what I think it is”?

January35 · 26/06/2020 21:09

Sore boobs (even showering was uncomfortable) and needing to nap after work

ALC1985 · 26/06/2020 21:10

1st pregnancy a shooting pain in my groin, sore boobs, getting up in the middle of the night to wee and just not wanting a cup of tea.
2nd child not being able to drink coffee, nothing else til period was late!

MontanaSky · 26/06/2020 21:16

First: sore, heavy breasts and period 4 days late. I just knew even though I didn't believe the first test.

Second: honestly thought it was my period. Cramps and lower back pain. Was totally surprised by a positive test.

Prettylittlelady · 26/06/2020 21:26

Before my missed period I had period type pains and some lower back aches

Mc3209 · 26/06/2020 21:30

Insomnia (and in non pregnant state I can sleep for Great Britain).
