Will do! Thanks for all your support everyone. The backache is quite intense but fingers crossed xx

Tecalina · 27/06/2020 18:50

@SunflowerOwl I had no symptoms until 4+4 and even then they lasted for a couple of days and have gone again! The body is a funny thing, but I guess we've just got to trust it knows what it's doing 🙂

Wyewaving · 27/06/2020 20:34

Hi all, I got my BFP earlier today. I recognise a fair few of you from @Littlebee1990’s TTC threads which is nice.

A bit of background about me, I’m 35 next weekend, my husband is 36. This will be our first child, this month was cycle two of us trying very casually so I’m currently in a state of total shock. I’ve been crying on and off all afternoon telling my husband that I’m scared 🙈 I feel guilty for not being super excited and happy, but I’m hoping the shock will wear off eventually.

The NHS website gives me an EDD of 7 March.

mumaofgirls · 27/06/2020 20:40

Hi Ladies! Smile

Congrats to you all on your BFP’s Flowers

So pleased to be joining this thread, I had my BFP on Thursday on our first cycle of trying, I am 3wks + 3. This was such a shock after it took 7/8 months to conceive with our 2 DD. We are over the moon to be expecting our 3rd baby, due date 10th March. Currently have 9 & 3 year old girls, this little one will be our last.

I’m not suffering any symptoms at the moment really which is so different to my previous pregnancies with my girls (v.sick, never glowed lol) . Definitely planning on booking an early scan on my week off in July for reassurance. I’m going back actually into work on Monday, already feeling nervous keeping my little bean quiet for now.

Excited to follow this thread, wishing you all well xx

marplemead · 27/06/2020 21:11

Evening all!

Can I join please?

I had a very faint line on a FRER yesterday, which was the day AF was due. We weren't really trying, and timing is a bit rubbish, but I'm happy. This is my 3rd pregnancy (1st ended in MC and 2nd is 3.5yo). I'm going to do another test tomorrow to make sure, but I think I know - the nausea started this evening.

@Justkeepswimming91 and @SunflowerOwl I'm near Bristol too!

Firsttymmum · 27/06/2020 21:12

Woww , I have missed lots of chat here! Congrats to everyone on their BFP🥳🥳🥳💓 hope everyone is enjoying their alcohol free weekend 🤦🏼‍♀️

SunflowerOwl · 27/06/2020 21:24

@marplemead ooh that's nice that theres a few of us from the same area! Smile

@Wyewaving I'm completely the same!! I feel like I'm getting it a bit wrong not being floating around on cloud 9 yet but I'm sure it'll come! It's just such a complete game changer it's hard not to be in shock 🙈

peonyrose87 · 27/06/2020 21:33

Congratulations to all of the new BFP's 🥳🎉 so lovely to see so many people on here ☺️

Wyewaving · 27/06/2020 21:35

@SunflowerOwl It’s a relief to see that someone else feels like I do! I’m really hoping I start feeling excited or at least happy soon! I don’t feel unhappy, I’m not sure I feel anything other than shock atm.

Indigo89 · 27/06/2020 22:22

@Wyewaving are you from Herefordshire by any chance?

I'm really excited to get to know everyone and hopefully be a great support network to each other. I was on a "Due July2018" thread for my DD and there are still about 50 of us on a Facebook group and WhatsApp chat who message daily, have met up regionally and become "real life" friends etc all because of a Mumsnet thread like this. 12 of us zoomed the other night.

AuntieR456 · 27/06/2020 22:36

@Wyewaving @SunflowerOwl Thanks for sharing how you’re feeling - makes me feel a little better we had only just started to think about trying and said we would see what happens. It was our second month - so we were both shocked and a little scared when we found out! It’s been a few days and already we are feeling moments of excitement alongside anxiousness now ☺️

Also an added complication, our first thought was for our wedding that was planned for this Dec, we were already considering a postponement due to COVID but now we will move it to Dec 2021 which is a little sad as we both would have preferred to be married first - 😢

Lovely to see lots more bfps 👶 think we will get a lot of teasing when we tell our families our news ... something along the lines of not having anything else to do while stuck at home 😂 X

Stephanieday91 · 27/06/2020 22:50

Hello everyone!

Found out I was pregnant just over a week ago and I’m nearly 6 weeks now. Due somewhere around Feb 22nd. First baby so very nervous/ scared/ excited! Has anyone else suffered from really bad cramps? I’ve been having trouble with constipation (the joys) so I’ve been having bad stomach ache but I also keep getting really bad cramps that feel like really bad period pains. There is no blood etc. Hoping this is normal and nothing to worry about!

Stephanieday91 · 27/06/2020 23:00

I’m currently struggling with bad constipation which is causing awful stomach aches and really bad period like cramps. My best friend is a midwife and she advised me to get some Movicol so I have just started taking that.

RoEP2018 · 27/06/2020 23:26

Hi everyone,
Coming over from a conception thread. Lovely to see some familiar names 😘
Did a digital tonight which confirmed 1-2 weeks. I'm about 4 weeks from first day of last period.
This will be my second child. We literally decided to try a couple of weeks ago and here I am 😳 Never expected this to happen so quickly, although DD was also conceived first month! 🤭 Think I'll be getting the coil after this one 🤣

@indigo89 I was on a March 18 babies thread which became a Facebook group!!We have a regional WhatsApp group ☺️ it was amazing throughout pregnancy sharing the highs and lows and then meeting each and every baby.

I just wanted to say for the symptom spotters out there. Absolutely no symptoms whatsoever with my DD. Nausea started at 6 and lasted 2 weeks.
This time I've had cramping and nausea since I ovulated!! 😳
Every pregnancy is different so don't worry xxxx

Dylansophia1 · 28/06/2020 00:11

@Hopesandrainbows I am 5 weeks 6 days pregnant with my first baby according to my last period, altho i think i ovulated late so i may be a bit less. I have also been spotting brown since Thursday, which is giving me major anxiety. I have read every article on the Internet and the general consensus is that it's more than likely old implantation bleeding, is quite common, and is usually nothing to worry about if its not bright red blood. Fingers crossed for both of us. We may be early days but i will be devastated if anything happens. 🙏🏼 Xx

Littlebee1990 · 28/06/2020 01:16

@Wyewaving @RoEP2018 So happy to see you have your BFP! My EDD on NHS is 7th March.

Congratulations again to all here, excited to share the journey with you all.

I feel normal at the moment, just don’t sleep!

Hopesandrainbows · 28/06/2020 04:09

Aww you guys are so supportive! Smile I just did another test (I know I can't sleep) and it's much darker yay! But still have horrendous dull period like aches. They haven't gone away since yesterday and are keeping me up! Is it normal to have constant cramping that feels like period pain? I guess if I was having a chemical which was my fear, the test would b lighter today? Xxxx

Hopesandrainbows · 28/06/2020 04:12

@Stephanieday91 that's exactly the same as me!!! Really bad period pain but tests are getting stronger. I would've been due on today so I'm wondering if body is confused? Haha either that or my uterus is stretching for triplets or something!!!!! I hope you're ok xxxx

Thedot90 · 28/06/2020 06:10

Hello,
I think I’m 4+4 (PCOS and was due to start letrozole this month, so a lovely surprise!). I have had constant dull ache in my pelvis, and keep checking tests, but still positive! I can’t believe how slowly time is going, I recalculate every day and still can’t believe I’m still in my 4th week. I tested 5 days before I thought I might be due with an early detection test so that’s probably why it’s dragging as I’ve just been so excited ever since!

Hopesandrainbows · 28/06/2020 06:39

This is today's test compared to yesterday (bottom is today's) I'm trying to keep positive now and think that it wouldn't be getting darker if something was wrong... I hope! Xxx

Due March 2021
Tecalina · 28/06/2020 06:53

@Thedot90 Time goes SO slowly, doesn't it?! I already feel like I've been pregnant for months 😂 And for some reason, I can no longer find ways to keep me occupied!

RoEP2018 · 28/06/2020 06:56

@Hopesandrainbows I had stomach cramps like period pains the first week after my AF was due. Called for advice and was told things are stretching about and getting ready for baby ☺️ Then it went away and I was worried something else had happened 🙄Then I had a bleed and early scan at 9 weeks. Bleed was unexplained. The pregnancy symptoms disappeared again (nausea) and I worried again 😬 This is going to be a bit of a rollercoaster. I'm sure everything is fine. That is definitely getting darker 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Hopesandrainbows · 28/06/2020 07:10

Thanks @RoEP2018
I am worried as just managed to go to the loo (so pushed slightly not straining or anything) and more brown blood came out (more than I had yesterday). I'm so worried.

I have attached a photo- I hope that's ok!

Due March 2021
Tecalina · 28/06/2020 07:22

@Hopesandrainbows I'm not experienced in this but I think it's bright red blood you need to be worried about. Maybe it's old implantation blood that's taken a while to get down? If you're getting darker positive tests, please concentrate more on that or you'll drive yourself crazy 🤪 x

Libmama · 28/06/2020 07:31

Hi everyone! This is baby number 3 for us. Not due period until Wednesday but I know the signs by now Grin Had two faint positive frer and I’m going to hold off my clear blue until Tuesday! I’ve got two boys who will be 7 and 2.5 when this one comes all being well on the 9th March. The cramping I’ve seen some of you mention is completely normal and nothing to worry about. It’s just everything stretching down there to make room for a baby. Flowers
