Faint lines on First Response

Hello I'm new to posting on sites such as this so I hope I've posted in the right place!
I just would like a few thoughts please.
I am on the mini pill, and usually have a period although not regular, between every 3 to 5 weeks. I haven't had anything since Feb so I took a pregnancy test a few days ago to rule that out before making an appt with gp to get checked. Imagine my surprise when I saw a faint line, so I did the other one in the packet which showed the same. Hubby says the line is too faint (think he's also wishing this is the case lol). I have since done three more, all the same result. I left a sample to the gp to check too which came back negative today but was told to re check myself next week as theirs won't pick up v early results!
Sorry for the long post but I feel like I need to get this off my chest with people who don't know me. Anyone else had a similar experience and what was the outcome. Thanks x

Your lines seem so dark to then get negative straight away. My GP was very helpful and she suggested blood tests to me but I suppose they're all different. Seems so blasé just to say it's a chemical and check yourself, sometimes they forget its a huge deal for us.

It’s really very frustrating with my older children I never had a faint line and felt sick pretty much straight away- I am just waiting for my Period to arrive had some cramps yesterday but nothing! X

Sorry to jump on the post but I'm obsessing over a line that I imagine I can see but I really don't think it's there!! 10 months into Ttc and losing the plot x

@Chajam86 I can see a shadow where the line would be but maybe you should test again in a few days.
I forgot to update this as I'd posted on another thread but I'd been getting feint lines for weeks now on frer but I'm not pregnant (gp confirmed it with a blood test a few weeks ago but I kept clinging onto hope as I'd been getting lots of these lines and actually thought it was maybe a chemical pregnancy) I was still getting lines last week so I thought I'd test one in tap water and I got a line!
I'm only saying this so that anyone reading might be saved the disappointment I had as I only ever heard that a line is a line no matter how feint.

Wow that's awful @daisychain ! I too thought positive was positive no matter how faint!

May I ask where the tests were from? Just because I have seen some really bad reviews on some Amazon "fakes" where people have claimed they've given false positives. I once ordered "Clear Blue" from Amazon but when I read the reviews about fakes I compared the packaging to a CB from Tesco and realised a few differences and that the one from Amazon didn't even come with instruction leaflet which I think is dodgy!

Yes most of them were from Amazon to be fair although I did get a packet from Boots. (I did far too many 😁)
It is awful though as it's just giving people too much false hope with something that is so emotional
