Faint lines on First Response

Hello I'm new to posting on sites such as this so I hope I've posted in the right place!
I just would like a few thoughts please.
I am on the mini pill, and usually have a period although not regular, between every 3 to 5 weeks. I haven't had anything since Feb so I took a pregnancy test a few days ago to rule that out before making an appt with gp to get checked. Imagine my surprise when I saw a faint line, so I did the other one in the packet which showed the same. Hubby says the line is too faint (think he's also wishing this is the case lol). I have since done three more, all the same result. I left a sample to the gp to check too which came back negative today but was told to re check myself next week as theirs won't pick up v early results!
Sorry for the long post but I feel like I need to get this off my chest with people who don't know me. Anyone else had a similar experience and what was the outcome. Thanks x

Hi yeah you was right, I done a lot more other tests and positive ! Thankyou very much! We have been trying for 10 months so we are very over whelmed

Okay so it's now over one month since I started this thread with all the weird tests. I did say I'd forget about all my 'false positives/ evap lines as advised by the gp. I can't forget as it just doesn't make sense (I'm obsessing!).
I ordered some Rapid results just to make sure (either hoping for stark white or blazing pink line). I thought the rapid results would be better as they only register larger amounts of HCG compared to early results ones so thought there would be nothing at all.
I don't know what to think now. Also the tests look different (symbol on the handle) but I have only used early results not these rapid ones so don't know if it's legit.

I can see the lines but ever so light
I’d say try clear blue they are the best
May cost more but will save you spending on lots more cheapy ones

Very weird isn't it, go said HCG levels were only 2 so shouldn't be picked up on any test

I will say that I used the rapid response ones and noticed a faint pink line before I had even taken the test. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a picture of it before hand but it was 100% there.

I checked it too before I used it. I could only see a shadow when I held it up to the light so maybe with it being wet has made it more prominent. I think I need to accept that I'm definitely not pregnant and use all the money I'm putting into these tests to buy lots of gin!

The same thing happened to me last week. I got the faint lines on FRER. I got so excited and really thought I was pregnant, then a BFN on a digital test a few days later. AF eventually arrived and cue meltdown.

Hope you get your BFP soon. It's so hard not to obsess

I had what I thought were quite clear tests a few weeks ago and when the gp said I wasn't pregnant I thought I'd be able to forget about. I did these latest ones to get a blank screen but this is not happening?

I checked it too before I used it. I could only see a shadow when I held it up to the light so maybe with it being wet has made it more prominent. I think I need to accept that I'm definitely not pregnant and use all the money I'm putting into these tests to buy lots of gin!

Hi there I am wondering if there is problem with Frer my period if late By 10 days I’ve tested positive on them but negative on cheaper tests and I’ve got no symptoms at all - this is just a thought but I’ve usually got hyperemesis so it’s all very odd daisy chain x

This dithering about is frustrating, I wish for a whitest of white screen or a glaring obvious line. This wishy washy nonsense is doing my head in.
It's not fair is it that these tests get peoples hopes up

I’m in a very similar position with faint lines and doctor has told me it’s probably chemical but no sign of period of positive tests I am finding this very bizarre and confusing as My periods are pretty regular. I’ve attached my photos had negatives on super drug test yesterday early response.

Aww it's just so frustrating not knowing isn't it? Your tests look very clear to me. How long was it between you getting those to you getting your negatives yesterday?

Did you get a blood test done at your gp?

Gp hasn’t suggested blood tests basically said it’s probably chemical test again in a week, I’ve spent a small fortune on tests so if I’m still like this next week without much help will see if I can get a private scan. My negatives on Superdrug early testing came two hours after this I did drink water but no faint line on it or anything. X
