@Leok83 I'll be thinking about you at your scan tomorrow, It came around but my god it didn't half drag the last week I found. I'm in at 11-30 so a nervous breakfast, some pacing and fussing with things around the home, then off I'll head to the hospital

MilsCookie · 03/08/2020 19:11

Woohoooooo @scrumdiddly123 so happy you're here! Keeping EVERYTHING crossed for you that this is a sticky one! Will definitely be good to get a scan at 6 weeks to give you some peace of mind! Hope it doesn't drag too long for you until that point 😘

@SunnySideUp2020 good question... I felt SO exhausted from the day before I did the pregnancy test, and was then having afternoon naps every day from weeks 4-10 and it then began to get better (although I still occasionally nod off on the sofa in the afternoon!) I think I started to get a small 'bump' around week 13 so felt more pregnant then, but now I definitely feel pregnant (18+0) cos the bump is just permanently there. How are you feeling in general?

@ChampooPapi ahhh good luck tomorrow lovely, I'm sure it will all be fine! And your bump is gorgeous!! 😍 that's definitely grown since your last bumpie! I've got my 18 week scan on weds and literally shitting myself because of what happened at 16 weeks. Mine is at 9am so will update you all at some point afterwards.

@Leok83 good luck at your scan too - hope you manage to get some sleep tonight! (And you Champoo!)

Here's my latest bumpie from yesterday ☺️ (was trying out the new bump band I've bought to try and help my back!)

P.s. please excuse the random penguins on the windowsill in the toilet.... I'm currently living with my in-laws (moving house in Sept!) and I am also not sure why they are there! 🐧🐧🙈😆

Whiffle77 · 03/08/2020 19:19

Good luck with scans @Leok83 and @ChampooPapi!
Lovely bump pictures too, i seem to be spreading out in all directions now - my ass is massive 😂
Difficult question @SunnySideUp2020 not until quite late on i dont think, when my bump came out proper. And once I started having regular movements at around 19 weeks. I still forget about being pregnant a lot, im always surprised when I'm huffing and puffing up a hill!

Leok83 · 03/08/2020 20:01

Thanks @ChampooPapi @MilsCookie & @Whiffle77! Been pretty anxious today and even though I'm on holidays the day is still dragging!!

Best of luck with your tomorrow too @ChampooPapi! Mines at 9 so at least no waiting around in the morning!

@scrumdiddly123 great to see you here☺️!

Love the bumps ladies!!

ChampooPapi · 03/08/2020 20:38

@MilsCookie brilliant and beautiful bump! You look absolutely gorgeous 😘 yay for the bumps 🙌 and thank Christ that our scans are soon, for you it is even more of an anxious wait I know but it could bring the positive confirmation about both girls that you need to get you through to the twenty week scan.

God it's a slog at the best of times but you are having to go through so many extra worries and the pressure on the mind of having twins even is a fairly constant stress squirm, but this time in 2 days you will have some clarity, you will. And we will all be here 💜

AlviesMam · 03/08/2020 20:45

Welcome and congratulations!! @scrumdiddly123 we are all here for you! 😍

@ChampooPapi OMG you have totally bloomed you look amazing!

@MilsCookie and you have too wow what a difference from the last pics! (P.s I am also living at my in-laws atm! 😂)

Two gorgeous twinny bumps!

This is me at 27 weeks out for my birthday meal!

I love all these updates.
Hope everyone is doing well. I am still on edge but worrying is just going to make me worse so I'm practicing my breathing!

Any more bump updates ladies?! 😁

Thinking of you not today @Leok83 and @ChampooPapi

Welcome @scrumdiddly123 . Congratulations on your BFP. My sickness started at about 6 weeks and was pretty much gone by 12 weeks. Not really sure when I started to feel properly pregnant but probs not until about 20 weeks or so. I now feel like a whale (32 weeks) but I don't think I'm that big. I'll do a bump shot when I get in the shower.

Ejb86 · 04/08/2020 07:29

My 9 week bump! I'm a bigger girl anyway, but this is my 3rd bump so it is much more pronounced than my first. Expected to be bigger sooner last time with it being twins, but there's only one in there this time! Saggy at the bottom from the section scar too.

BecsterG · 04/08/2020 07:41

My bump at 32 weeks. Really don't feel it's bigger but my god it's firm now. Measuring one week up so no problem with bump size.

@BecsterG thank you lovely 💜

@AlviesMam fab bump, fab dress, and very fab hair 🥰 you are looking absolutely gorgeous woman! I'm excited to update our weeks later today, your nearly in the third trimester! Yay!

@Ejb86 great bump! you look lovely and I really can't believe your 9 weeks, time is trucking on 🙌 yes those stomach muscles second or third time just arnt the same are they! Mine are non existent as soon as I'm pregnant, any workouts I've done to knit them together seems to go for nothing! Before my last pregnancy I worked VERY hard, crunches, medicine balls, the tire (shudders at the thought of 'the tire'), and within a couple of months of being pregnant it was like a girdle had been released 😆🤦

ChampooPapi · 04/08/2020 07:50

@BecsterG fabulous bump shot 🥰 it's so exciting your so far now 🙌

BecsterG · 04/08/2020 07:53

Hank you @ChampooPapi I can't quite believe I'm 32 weeks. Just over 7 weeks to go. DS1 arrived two days early and fairly quickly so I wonder what DS2 will bring. Ha ha maybe late and long 😂

Those bumps 😍😍😍😍😍😍
You all are so big now - and i mean this as a compliment 💓

5w3 today and no sign of spotting so far.
A small achievement because last time that's when it started...

I will go by due date of 3rd april @ChampooPapi if you do a list 😬

SunnySideUp2020 · 04/08/2020 07:58

Good luck for the scans 💕💕💕 @Leok83 @ChampooPapi

ChampooPapi · 04/08/2020 07:59

@BecsterG fairly quickly I'd imagine! How long did the active labour actually take? Are you thinking maternity unit or local hospital?

@BS9790 I've just noticed your gorgeous bump shot too 👣👣 looking beautiful 🥰

ChampooPapi · 04/08/2020 08:02

@SunnySideUp2020 Yes! 💜 (Also I always do the list, I'm obsessed with it 😆)

I'm also now totally baby obsessed and bump obsessed too, my brain is one track, babies babies babies 🤤. I'm sure I used to think about alot more then that 🤦

BecsterG · 04/08/2020 08:13

@ChampooPapi I was in active labour for 3 hours. I knew I was in labour earlier but I wasn't in pain, just tightening etc. Had a bath at 10:30 ish got to relax for 10 mins and then woosh hardcore labour started. Got to hospital about 12:30 and they examined me and said I'd be at it for hours so should have an epidural and within minutes I was fully dilated and within the hour he was born. No time for the epidural which made me sad after saying I should have it. That's the point I cried a bit. Ha ha
The midwife has said this one will most likely be quicker which scares the hell out of me but I like to keep an open mind as these babies really do have a mind of their own. 😂
My mum has similar labours with both my brother and me so I seem to be following the same pattern so far. We will have to wait and see. What will be will be.

Thanks ladies! Absolutely love the bumps, you all look amazing 😍 I love a baby bump!
@SunnySideUp2020 we’re so close together! How are you feeling? I’m 4+4 based on LMP but 4 weeks today going by OV date

ChampooPapi · 04/08/2020 09:51

@BecsterG all sounds very textbook to me and very good all round, just speedy so definitely plan for maybe a labour that is just over an hour this time! Babies are different and do their own things but to be honest it is very common for your proceeding babies to come quicker, especially if it's a straight forward delivery. I too was bereft at no pethadine at my last, she arrived about 40 minutes after getting to the hospital! If I remember correctly my first words to reception/midwives was 'i need the pethadine!'. No time for that 😆, all fine and we'll though. My first was a leisurely 12 hours, blissful actually really , gentle contractions gearing up in a very sensible manner. Fantastic. That last was under 2 hours, it was insane, 0-60 so fast. 1 minute your eating dairy milk in bed, the next your screaming your head off and biting down on a stress ball while your partner ferrets around for the car keys!

Zoey36 · 04/08/2020 10:03

@BecsterG my midwife said she will prep my husband on what to do if baby is born before they get here (planning a home birth) because their rate of second babies born before arrival is weirdly high 😂This would be my husband's dream but I highly doubt it would happen for me.

BecsterG · 04/08/2020 10:07

A fast labour is good but you're right @ChampooPapi there's no gear up you just get straight into full contractions. DS has to have a cap on his head as his heart rate was dropping with the contractions just because it was fast. My parents live 1.5 hours away so hoping I know I'm in labour like last time so they can start their drive through to look after DS1. I have a friend who lives close so she'll be round as soon as I need her.

@Zoey36 Ekk wow always best to be prepared as these babies really do what they want don't they! 🤣🤣
