After 2 little wipes of brown ish discharge Friday and panic set in I was going to try and get my private scan earlier than next Saturday.

However ever since ive had no more, I've felt more sick than before boobs are so painful and headaches so I've stopped worrying and just going to wait until Saturday.

Who knows if that's the right decision 🤷🏼‍♀️

@BabyG123 that all sounds really positive. Whether you wait or not won’t affect the outcome, so if you think you can hang on, that great. Less than a week - it’ll be here before you know it!!

BabyG123 · 14/06/2020 13:00

@Carabu1 thank you. This is very true. Thought I'd be worried all week but as I feel shit it's made me feel better (ironically)

Baba11 · 14/06/2020 14:35

@BabyG123 glad it has stopped. Not long now. A week will fly by (she saysHmm)

Can't wait to see all the scan pics soon

MarvEll · 14/06/2020 15:38

@lilypad88 this is exactly how I feel about the scan too. I've got one next week at 9+6 🤞 my sickness and headaches have gone over the weekend, boobs feel better too, so that's got me slightly overthinking! I can barely keep my eyes open tho, so maybe things are just changing in there.
My tummy has been generally sore this weekend too. Going to feel much better once I've seen what's going on.
Exciting to see scan photos coming through ☺️

Wineandrun · 14/06/2020 15:59

im so tired 😭😭😭 and I was sick whilst out walking the dog with the kids. It’s making me really miserable. I’m so happy to be pregnant but feeling quite depressed because of the symptoms and the mum guilt like you @Grumpy19, my poor kids aren’t getting enough attention. No idea how I’m going to go to work tomorrow. Finally told my mum today though which was lovely, although I’ve found this time round the response from people is more ‘oh....is this good news?!’ Rather than ‘congratulations’!!!

Lollipop93 · 14/06/2020 17:00

@wineandrun

I’m feeling the exact same it’s really getting me down. I don’t know how I’m going to get through this. Even though I’m happy, I just can’t shake this feeling of being so down because of the symptoms.

BabyG123 · 14/06/2020 17:54

Girls hopefully symptoms will calm down in the second trimester 🤞🏼 not long to power through

Hi all, hope your all ok. I'm with most of you with the symptoms 😔. I've just managed my first meal in a week and couldn't finish it and instantly feel sick:: the sickness is terrible on a night :( hoping for good news on Tuesday at my scan 😍

StephS1984 · 14/06/2020 19:04

Hi everyone, I had a private scan yesterday and felt absolutely awful, I tried to drink water to have a full bladder but I just couldn’t keep it down. I didn’t get an estimated date, but I did get told I was showing nearer 11 weeks than 10. I think exhaustion/ stress is a big factor in my sickness. One thing that the sonographer did say was my womb might be slightly heart shaped, so will see what nhs sonographer says.

10+2

@lilypad88 I lost all my symptoms late 6 weeks which was mad as I had strong symptoms early on. I panicked completely, booked a private scan all was fine and they returned two days later with a vengeance don't worry and excited to see your scan pic !!

Hope you're all well today ladies 😊 I've managed to eat today. First day properly with zero sickness. I've made up for it and ate really rubbish food though!
I'm craving red cabbage ??? I have never had cravings before with my previous pregnancies so it's weird. I had some in a salad two weeks ago and I just can't stop thinking about it. I really fancy some 😂😂 I weighed myself today and I haven't gained anything so I'll take that. Although I was about 1.5 stone heavier than usual when I got pregnant but I'm going to try not to worry about it too much

Is anyone using anything for stretch marks?
I was lucky with my boys and never got them at all on my belly. I have some on my thighs and hips. I used bio oil on my stomach religiously from the beginning. I keep forgetting this time though I need to remember to be honest I'm barely remembered my folic acid then I'm just nodding off and waking up in a panic !!! Xxxx

Grumpy19 · 14/06/2020 19:32

@lilypad88 I have not had a date for my 12 week scan yet. Hoping to get a letter this week. As I am older I am quite anxious about the screening tests.

@Carabu1, thanks, not sure about sterling but muddling along.

@Wineandrun I have to keep telling myself what an extraordinary set of circumstances we are dealing with. Trying to home school my own whilst working from home and dealing with symptoms on top. I have to say despite my guilt the children don't seem bothered about my frequent vanishing off to the bathroom.
@StephS1984 lovely scan photo.

@Bubbabee I empathise greatly. Feeling sick a night is horrible.

dixiedo · 14/06/2020 19:33

@StephS1984 cute scan!!! I hope you enjoyed it xx

Bubbabee · 14/06/2020 20:24

@StephS1984 lovely scan 💗
@Grumpy19 yeah I'm with you trying to juggle homeschooling, working from home everyday and feeling rubbish is a lot to handle haha. My daughter is a life saver and doesn't moan when I need an afternoon nap. Sickness has kicked in now it's bedtime 🤢

lilypad88 · 14/06/2020 21:07

@dixiedo yea we complain about our symptoms but when they're gone, it's panic on board!
Oh I've got the bio oil, I use it for scars, but I'll defo try it for belly then!

@StephS1984 nice pic 😍

Baba11 · 15/06/2020 07:18

@Carabu1 @lilypad88 good luck for your scans today. Hope they go ok and you get to see your beautiful growing beans

lilypad88 · 15/06/2020 07:19

Morning girls

Having my scan this morning, do I need to drink a lot of water before and not eat anything? It says on their faq I don't need to for a 4D scan but mine isn't 4D and they haven't given me any info prior to the scan so I'm not sure what to do...

7 weeks

lilypad88 · 15/06/2020 07:20

@Baba11 thanks girl! I hope to see something! So nervous eek!

Newbee123 · 15/06/2020 07:22

Hi Ladies I'm 8 weeks pregnant today is my first every appointment but I'm doing it through the phone and then I have my Scan in July. Feeling very rubbish lately due to me always feeling sick and tired anyone else ?

Baba11 · 15/06/2020 07:24

@lilypad88 normally for the scans u have to drink 1 litre of water. I would becoz then if u don't need to you can just go to the toilet

Baba11 · 15/06/2020 07:26

@Newbee123 congrats. 4 more weeks to go.
I'm 10 weeks and have some days like that but little better yesterday. They say the second trimester gets easier so not long to go

Newbee123 · 15/06/2020 07:32

Thank you so much! How are you feeling today ? When's your due date ?

Newbee123 · 15/06/2020 07:33

I have work today I baby sit for a girl I used to look after. Really not looking forward to it feeling so rubbish today 😭

Baba11 · 15/06/2020 07:42

@Newbee123 I have work today which I'm not looking forward to. I'm due 10th jan. I have really broken sleep at night and that doesn't help because for me exhaustion was my biggest and most draining symptom.

Newbee123 · 15/06/2020 07:44

Is your job very tiring ? Take it easy. I just broke down in tears I'm not sure why I hate feeling like this :(
