@RunnerGirl123 yes I got a head measurement of both the twins at my scan Wednesday where I was just over 15 weeks and it would have out me forward again a few days. But she said they don't change it from my last 12 week scan so my due date stayed the same. I guess though if they count get a clear measurement then that is different, but their estimates do seem like that most of the time, babies definitely come when they come 😆

That's reassuring then! I'm excited to see baby again, and then think I'll book a private one for my oh to join and see baby too before the 20 weeks scan, and to find out the sex if we can!

nearlyamummyof3 · 05/06/2020 09:09

Morning all!
Hope everyone is well today.
The morning sickness is still here but not quite as violent this morning (saving graces)

Here is my little bambino boy number 1 - they couldn't get my poorly baby number 2 as he was hiding away 🙁 but his heartbeat is very strong so that's a good sign.
Welcome to all new ladies - I'm 28 due with identical boys on 19 of November - but it will probably be more like a month earlier!

Just realised I didn't upload picture 🤪

@Pipted @kkr168 @Pinktruffle @Snowwhite2020 ooo how exciting!

I got my first pair of maternity jeggings through today and they have transformed my life. I actually dont need to wear tracksuit bottoms all day now and stay comfortable!

I also ordered some asos jeans in the sale too but they are going back - when they say low rise they mean without the baby band they would barely be covering my bum they are so low! Blush

my OH and I booked a groupon for a private gender scan last night (£39 instead of £60 at ultrasound direct). We then phoned up to book to be told that Ultrasound direct aren't actually running the offer and groupon is selling the vouchers without their permission as they withdrew the offer when coronavirus restrictions came in so now waiting for a refund from groupon - they still have the offer up online though. So just warning everyone DO NOT BUY THE GROUPON DEAL FOR ULTRASOUND DIRECT. it isn't running at the moment.

Pinktruffle · 05/06/2020 13:09

@Icantthinkofanickname123456 can I ask where your jegginings are from? I'm currently wearing my husbands tracksuit bottoms that are too small for him, really lovely and roomy but I look ridiculous. I had a Zoom meeting for work today and had to get up to put the room lights on as it was too dark and they must have all thought I looked ridiculous! Most of them don't know I'm pregnant and probably just think I dress like a clown out of work Grin

Icantthinkofanickname123456 · 05/06/2020 13:20

@Pinktruffle They are from New Look on Asos:

I dont know if they do them on the newlook website

Pinktruffle · 05/06/2020 13:49

Fab, thank you, I'll take a look!

RunnerGirl123 · 05/06/2020 15:47

Got my 15 week scan date - it's next Thursday so less than a week to wait! Hoping all is still okay!

ChampooPapi · 05/06/2020 15:55

@nearlyamummyof3 beautiful scan picture, so nice to see one of your twins 💜💜🤗

Is anyone else worried about inactivity? DH and I try and go for a walk a couple of times a week but some days I'm absolutely knackered and can do nothing but lie on the sofa. I haven't even made it to the kitchen today! I was really active when I was at work so this is completely different for me.

RunnerGirl123 · 05/06/2020 19:18

@Pinktruffle I'm the same, normally when I'm working / commuting I'd do 12000 steps a day minimum but now I'm barely hitting 3000 most days unless I go for a long walk. I just try and get out when I can and try to walk fast enough to raise my heartbeat a little. I'm hoping when things start going back to normal I'll get more active again! And I might try find some pregnancy yoga this weekend for those days when I don't wana go for a walk!

Pinktruffle · 05/06/2020 19:27

I know I can only do what I can but I do worry that it has a negative impact on the pregnancy and baby. I'm having better days now I'm in the second trimester and have energy most days but I still have some where I can do nothing

RunnerGirl123 · 05/06/2020 20:07

Just don't be too hard on yourself. I think you're probably already doing enough and the exhaustion may reduce a little now we're in the second trimester so just take it as it comes! But if you're tired, rest is best for you and baby.

Pinktruffle · 05/06/2020 20:25

Thanks @RunnerGirl123, think I just needed a little reassurance. Similar to you, I'm used to doing 12/13000 steps a day just at work so it's a change!

kkr168 · 05/06/2020 21:29

I caved & booked a private gender scan, its on the 11th, only 6 days to go!! That will make me exactly 16 weeks, so hopefully they can see what they need to see.

chubbyhotchoc · 05/06/2020 22:43

Argggh!!! I've just felt the baby kick! I can't believe it. I wasn't sure the first time and then I watched my stomach and saw and felt it move. I didn't feel my first until 18 weeks. Exciting!

kkr168 · 05/06/2020 22:56

@chubbyhotchoc wow, that must of been amazing, how many weeks are you now?

chubbyhotchoc · 05/06/2020 23:00

@kkr168 I'm just coming up to 15 weeks on Sunday. I think it's because I've had a tummy tuck though. I have virtually no fat there ( my ass and hips are another matter though) so I think there's no cushioning plus I know my placenta is at the back. It was crazy to feel. I'd forgotten how weird it was! My hearts been pounding lol

kkr168 · 05/06/2020 23:27

I'm the opposite mines all on my stomach, my belly was big enough without getting pregnant! I was happy about booking my scan for about 20 mins, then remembered I've got to get my belly out again 😭

kkr168 · 05/06/2020 23:28

Oh & my placentas at the front, pretty sure it was with my son too because I hardly ever felt him move

chubbyhotchoc · 05/06/2020 23:34

@kkr168 it's no fun being a woman is it? I always think that sonographers must think I'm some kind of freak with this weirdly fleshless stomach but not everywhere else. I also have a really weird belly button now because they make you a new one. It looks like a cat's bottom lol.

roro87 · 06/06/2020 00:04

Found a beautiful 2nd hand egg pushchair the other side of the country and just have my heart set on it. tempted to do a 6 hour round trip to get it. It is in really good condition and only 400 compared to 1200

@Icantthinkofanickname123456 oooh those jeggings look great. Put my normal jeans in today and they are def too tight!

@chubbyhotchoc amazing! I can’t wait to feel baby moving again. I really missed it when I gave birth last time!
