We had a private gender scan yesterday and so so excited we're having a girl! First grand Daughter for both our parents!

We had family and friends come to a park and set off a smoke cannon.

Here's a scan pic of baby girl who very rarely co-operates when I'm having a scan. Last two scans I've ended up walking up and down the stairs, or doing 10 star jumps.

Congratulations @Hancock2020 and @Clove20

Pink15 · 14/06/2020 15:44

Congratulations both of you!! Gorgeous photos and love the name Chloe 🥰

CoBell · 14/06/2020 15:51

Congrats on the gender scans!! Grin I also found out I am having a girl last week! All the people before me were all having girls too! Must be a bit of a baby girl boom going on! Grin

BuffaloCauliflower · 14/06/2020 16:08

Congratulations!

MoreGinPlease2020 · 14/06/2020 16:11

Another girl here too! Congratulations to those having scans. X

Fouryearslater · 14/06/2020 17:04

@CoBell it’ll be interesting to see our final ‘stats’. When I had my son, it all seemed to be boys (including 6/8 in my NCT group being boys!)

SqidgeBum · 14/06/2020 17:35

When my DD was born 18 months ago it was all boys too! She was the first girl baby I had heard of for a long time, and there was only her and one other girl in our NCT group of 7. It will be interesting to see how its split on here.

Addler · 14/06/2020 17:45

We bought our first big baby thing today! A next to me crib, Lidl are having a sale on and they're down to £125 if anyone is looking for one

Hancock2020 · 14/06/2020 18:33

Does anybody have any recommendations for meat free sausages? I had some sausages last week that still had tubes of something in them so the thought of eating them makes me heave now.

Pinktruffle · 14/06/2020 18:36

@Hancock2020 The Linda Macartney ones are really nice, I've also heard very very good things about Richmonds vegetarian sausages. The Quorn ones are awful, give those a wide berth

HarrietM87 · 14/06/2020 18:55

I love the Linda mccartney ones. Also rate their burgers!

Congrats on the scans everyone!

NatalieH2220 · 14/06/2020 19:31

Thanks for the heads up re the next to me!Thats a great price @Addler

Congratulations to everyone who has recently found out what they're having. Lots of little girls due. I'm on another November group and it is all boys, just one girl so far so nice to see the girls are evening things out here.

Pink15 · 14/06/2020 19:32

Yes Linda Mcartney red onion ones are amazing and often on offer for £1 (frozen section) 😍 my husband is a massive meat eater but he prefers these to normal sausages!

MrsR87 · 14/06/2020 19:35

@Hancock2020. Oh no. I love sausages but that would make me heave too 😢

MrsR87 · 14/06/2020 19:36

Hancock’s post got me thinking. Has anyone yet developed an aversion to something (food or drink) that they loved before they were pregnant. I have not yet!!!

Pink15 · 14/06/2020 19:40

@MrsR87 I had many aversions when I was feeling sick but even though the nausea has passed I'm still struggling with cooked carrots and avocado both of which I loved before, not sure why though as my sickness is gone!!

Pinktruffle · 14/06/2020 19:45

I'm still very adverse to tea. I'd love a hot cuppa and some biscuits but it's not to be

Hancock2020 · 14/06/2020 19:45

The thought of obviously now sausages, tomato pasta bake, and beans on toast all make me heave. If dh has beans I banish him out of the room, I just cant handle it lol

HarrietM87 · 14/06/2020 19:46

@MrsR87 normally I have a really sweet tooth but I’ve completely gone off chocolate, cake, biscuits etc in pregnancy. Have been massively craving fruit though so guess I get my sugar from there.

MissingMo · 14/06/2020 19:52

@HarrietM87 Same, I loved my sweets but not anymore, I might have an icecream here and there but was prior to pregnancy eating all sorts of chocolate and sweets. Still off Tea and coffee atm and pasta in any form or sauce.

Clove20 · 14/06/2020 19:54

Ahhh I miss having a nice cuppa! I tried to have 1 and it tasted horrid! I would have several cups of tea everyday pre-pregnancy

Hancock2020 · 14/06/2020 19:59

Omg, so just showed mother baby picture and she says, "she's got a pot belly just like her mother"
I mean for heavens sake! Calling me and my unborn baby fat, really????

Clove20 · 14/06/2020 20:38

@Hancock2020 that's a terrible thing for her to say! I'm sorry you had to even hear something like that x
